I used El Pollo Loco catering for the first time but it won't be the last! I cannot believe how great this was. I got the Build Your Own Bowls and everything about the food was great. We received giant containers of chicken, rice and beans along with loads of lettuce, cheese, corn, sour cream, chips, guacamole, tortillas, and a vast assortment of salsas. And churros! It was supposed to be for 10 people but I think it could easily have fed 15. But I'm not complaining! It made our family gathering so easy-just picked it up and lunch was served. They offer delivery too, of course. I will mention my order was not ready when I got there and I was a bit disappointed. But the cashier offered me a free drink so that softened the blow. In their defense, it was very busy. Thanks El Pollo Loco for making it easy to have the family over for lunch. See you next time. read more

This is the FIFTH straight 1-star review. How is that possible? Time for some soul searching by management/ownership. In my case, I came in specifically to try their new chicken fingers, which ended up small, dry , over cooked, and stale tasting.....at an outrageous cost of 2 for $5.99. I also bought one of their usually reliable basic chicken bowls which in the past have always featured chicken BREAST.....but this time it was 50/50 between white and my hated dark meat. Why? Is the cook not aware of what the procedure is......OR, did the franchisee decide to change the bowl contents? Also, they ran out of their usual pile of hard copy specials flyers. Who can afford EPL or Popeye's at non-discounted prices? Word is spreading about this location, so hopefully someone will step in to stop the bleeding. How many people will be coming in if they get to 10 1-star YELP reviews in a row??? read more

Warm welcomed friendly smile by Joy. Food was great and location kept clean sanitized.

THE WORST POLLO LOCO IN CALIFORNIA!!!!! Food is disgusting. Ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was the saddest most bland quesadilla I've ever had. The chips left a horrible taste in my mouth that has taken days to get rid of. Not to mention the employees couldn't look more miserable working there. @polloloco management send HELP or PLEASE close this place down. I've had diarrhea ever since eating at this place. WARNING!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! read more

I don't want to say anything bad about the service, because they were actually quick; the downside of that speed, however, is that things get forgotten. My meal was supposed to come with chips and salsa, I ordered two meals but when I got them, I only received chips and no salsa! I didn't like the food at all; the burrito tasted terrible it had a nasty canned sauce or something weird in it. I didn't like it one bit and couldn't eat it; they definitely need to change that flavor. The ambiance was ok the place is too small for a restaurant read more

I walked in with my parents and a friend of mine at El Pollo Loco. We helped my parents move some furniture on his trailer to OC. Well my buddy wanted chicken so we went to El Pollo Loco. We met Gloria with a happy smile, great energy and great vibes, and very professional and advised us on the best deal. Gloria took time to help us and went over and beyond with her service. Thank you Gloria for accommodating us. See you again soon. El Pollo Loco got a winner. read more

First of all their restroom is so dirty. No tissue and soap. Second the chicken is not fresh. It is so dry and chewy. Third the EBT has been out of order for one month already. No action taken. Sorry for the bad reviews. I hope they can improve. read more

This El Pollo is the same as all the other ones: menu and service. What sets this one apart was that at lunch hour, on a busy shopping day, it was fairly empty. We found convenient parking and the service was fairly quick (at looking at the lines for the other fast food restaurants, I'm sure there was a wait). Pollo Bowls tasted like those at other El Pollo Loco restaurants, but we didn't have to wait. read more

Worst fast food experience I've had In a while. Ordered a salsa verde quesadilla and there was more sauce than cheese so the tortilla was soggy and sloppily smashed into platter and chicken was just falling out not to mention the chicken taco I payed almost 5 dollars for had barely any chicken but two shells and almost a full head of lettuce. And to top it off they were out of salsa . read more

Best chicken since 2018. I left Long Beach and moved to Palm Springs, I tried El pollo loco there in Cat City several times and 2 locations there but their chicken was always very dried, small, and not tasty. I kept going hoping that one day i would taste the same chicken flavor from LA, LB, OC. But never happened even though I was there 1x weekly or 1x every other week. Now I live in Banning, and this is the closest el pollo loco, we tried it, chicken meals, and sides, chicken tostada salads very delicious, very tasty. Friendly staff, cleaned. Thank you, I missed this flavor for so long. The ambiance was great. See you soon. Thank you and thanks to all the staff members. Please train the Cat City mgrs and staff how to work like you. read more

" Loaded Chicken Salads " I went to the El Pollo Loco in Beaumont, CA to order early to go dinners and was very surprised with the salads I ordered. I met Blanca at the front counter and ordered a Classic Tostada Salad and a Double Chicken Avocado Salad, to go. Blanca was very nice and answered all of my questions before I ordered my salads. When I got home and took the salads out of the to-go bags, I was blown away by how Big the portions were, and how they looked. Before I left the El Pollo Loco I was able to get several different salad sauces for us to use when I got home. They were all very good ! The Salads were very tasty, as the chicken was super tender, and all of the salads were very fresh. I will definitely be going back again to order more food at El Pollo Loco in Beaumont , Ca. Check them out ! read more

Food was dry and old. Paid too much for meals ($70) and they forgot to provide the churros that came with meal. Food is old and dry why are you not careful not to give this to customers? Also, $3 extra for mixed pieces so I ended up with dry out wings and legs; really!! read more

So filthy dirty I just couldn't get myself to eat there. These pictures are not the worst. Just didn't want people seeing me take pictures. We weren't the only people to leave read more

The older short lady in the Kitchen is mean and rude. She shouldn't be in the food service industry. She should be in a back room somewhere folding laundry away from people. Most of the other workers there are friendly and pleasant to be around. But when the older short lady is working, it feels like we are at a newborn babies funeral in there. read more

Did they hire teenagers to work here? Ghetto workers(the girls specifically). Rude and impatient when taking your order. They ignore customers who come in to get their orders. The manager needs to take a serious look at the cameras to see how they play and slap your feed around. So many people would love to replace them. It's almost like an auntie hired all her bad nieces to work for her and they don't know professionalism at all . Over priced for the position they give you. I've never had any issues with portion size at any other el pollo loco accept this one. The food is old and take and packaged poorly. Never coming back here again. read more

I stopped in to pick up dinner for my family, and from the moment I walked in, Marissa was incredibly kind and helpful. Our food came out quickly and it was delicious. Thank you, Marissa, for making it such a pleasant experience! read more

This is the second time I've ordered the crunchy chicken tacos and received chicken that was inedible. Dried out and tough-- like jerky. The shells are crispy and the lettuce is fresh and crunchy, and the salsa is delicious as always. But again the chicken is horrible! Both times I purchased at night. Does the chicken sit around all day? For $4 a piece we expect a decent taco . The rest of my food was fine, but I purchased several tacos to my disappointment. read more

I gave this two stars because they were friendly and the food was good otherwise it would have been one star The floor near the drink dispenser was dirty and sticky. Tables were unwashed. I watched as an employee left the table she was eating at and left food on the table without cleaning it up Worst of all was that the employees weren't wearing gloves. The man cooking the chicken picked up the raw chicken and put it on the grill with his bare hands and was cutting up the chicken without gloves on. I believe this is a health code violation read more

I hope I'm not jinxing myself but this El Polo Loco is always great both with customer service and food! Keep up the good work :)

Elina was our drive-through Assistance and she was wonderful. She had great customer service and offered us a coupon when we asked about our meal and if there was deals. We will be coming back to this El Pollo Loco for a great customer service and delicious food. not to mention, I appreciate how clean the outside of the restaurant looked and how clean the associate looked. read more

Worst chicken dinner I have ever had. The chicken was dry as a bone. We never got the tortillas they asked us about..."do you want flour or corn"?; it would have been nice to have any at all. We ordered beans and got rice. Cold rice. Whole family was here. Never again will I feed my family that awful junk. read more

Service is great and friendly. Sides, salads, burritos, and sauces are excellent. The chicken is dry every time we get it. It's like they leave it sitting too long on the grill to keep it warm. We stay away from the chicken pieces as it's always a disappointment. Such a shame. We used to love their chicken. read more

I ordered a Pollo bowl for delivery and when I received it, it looks like I ordered bowl of gumbo it was completely watered down more than rice. I tried to call the store. No answer just rang. I am completely unsteady with the product. They have produced customer service to answer the phone. This company needs to be better with the training and their management. So with No Answer on the phone, I have no resolution to my problem. read more

Chicken was ok, but no red hot salsa, no serranos and lots of flies flying and landing on the drink and food Gross. Pleasant employees

Food was decent. Not much to expect from a fast food joint. Just mediocre chicken slapped in a taco. 5 stars for consistency.

Went today to try out the new guacamole chicken burrito. Had my little rowdy pug in the car with me. The ladies fawned over her and even gave her a little bit of chicken. Nice service always made the food taste better! The burrito was delicious by the way. read more

I received burnt chicken for my online order. It has been a terrible experience from the time I arrived. Main entrance indicates the door does not work, instructed to use the side door. The door was then locked 45 minutes prior to closure. The employees inside did not make any effort towards making any contact or indicating alternate pickup options. I proceeded to go through the drive through to just be given burnt food that is inedible and now a waste of my money. read more

OK this time my experience wasn't so great. I came to the drive-through and did not have my wallet so all I had was cash. So my total came to about $15. I gave the cashier at the window $100 bill and she told me that she could not complete my order because you guys just had a shift change and a drop which left them with no change to break $100 bill. I think that is unacceptable not only that I feel like my time in my gas was wasted so was the food that was prepared that I had the money for, but you didn't have a change for. The girl at the register said that that is corporate policy and when I called corporate and they were baffled. Did not feel like customer service was a type priority because you should always be able to accommodate your customers and throwing away food, which your employees probably eat is also unacceptable because you could not provide a service not because I couldn't pay. There are plenty of other restaurants that I could've chosen so when they told me I can go get changed and come back just blew my mind like I was gonna waste my time in my ass coming back to a place that wasn't prepared in the first place read more
