Love this place! Best Taco Burger around. I wish I had a Baker's Drive Thru near me. So when I do drive though a place that has one, I make it a point to grab a bite there. I usually get the Taco Burger combo with fries and a diet coke. The taco burger is served on a soft, warmed bun with shredded lettuce, Taco meat, tomatoes and cheese. Reminds me of the old 'Naugles' (a southern California fast food place a long time ago); they originally had the taco burger. I also get a bean and cheese burrito. The refried beans are cooked perfectly and the flour tortilla is always soft and delicious. This Baker's Drive Thru location has a nice clean interior and good outdoor seating as well (when it's not hot out). You can place an order with the cashier at the front or you can place your own order via the self serve screen. I went for the hamburger combo with a side of medium fries, and a drink. The food came out fast, ahem, as expected out of fast food. The people here are very friendly and helpful. The place is kept pretty clean. The hamburger was decent. It's actually really good. I had Baker's before in a different location but it was a while back. The fries were cooked properly. I do wish they have some sort of a more sturdy container for the ketchup. We had to place the ketchup on top of the paper on the tray so that we could dip our fries on the ketchup. What is wrong with the owners/managers at this location? On 2 consecutive visits I ordered a Double Baker and add chili.....There was much confusion and back and forth via the drive thru for apparently the geniuses who added chili to the menu did NOT add a key for the workers to hit on the register for say 75 cent to $1 extra if you want the same chili that goes on the chili burger to be put into anything else like a taco, burrito or, in my case, on my Double Baker. I was told the ONLY way to do that was to order a more expensive chili burger and then be upcharged for both the lettuce and tomato that comes on a Double Baker......thus jacking my cost up to over $8. WTH?? Total nonsense. Put in a KEY for adding the chili to immediately fix such a simple issue and stop raping your customers with up charges like extra for added secret sauce and grilled onions that used to be FREE.....The Greed here is incredible. This Bakers has really gone downhill over the last few months here. Portions are smaller, meat is tasteless and super greasy, hardly any cheese on tacos and burritos. The Yucaipa location food quality and portions remains great. New manager " Francisco " knows nothing about customer service. He would be better off working on the back of a garbage truck.
