Checking out a place near our RV place.
    Ron E.

I checked out this place as it's close to a RV Site we frequent when in SoCal. I needed to stop at the grocery store for a few things and was hungry. I read the reviews in the parking lot before I went in and some of them are negative and some of them are positive and you're gonna find that with different places. I got the California burrito, with an Al Pastor taco and a shredded beef burrito for my wife. The California burrito was OK, there wasn't fries but leftover hashbrowns from their breakfast burrito. No sour cream or guacamole, the Carne asada tasted fine but could use some seasoning. The tortilla was the best part. My wife's burrito was OK as well and could use some seasoning. The best thing I had was the taco which the meat was seasoned perfectly, and it came with a nice diced onion and cilantro. The homemade salsa was really good. You could tell this is family owned as they had younger kids in the waiting area as the adults worked in the back. Which I respect and adore. I would give it another chance, the prices are 30% higher than they should be based on the product you receive.

    Extremely Wet soggy sopes
    Viviana D.

I don't know what happen in the past few months but the food hasn't been the same at all order chicken burrito they added a bunch of other things to it and when I would order it back then it only came with rice and beans well today I ordered asada sopes then I said let me get the plate instead de asada and in the receipt it says beef they gave me shredded beef with a bunch of other shit on it bell peppers watery lettuce I'm so disappointed here my husband would go here almost every week we haven't gone since the first time they messed up our order and I had to repay for a new burrito and today I go order the same burrito this time I was specific on how I wanted the burrito, grilled chicken rice and beans I make sure that they gave me the right burrito. I didn't check my sopes since the receipt said beef sopes We never had issue before I'm just so upset. I'm tired of spending money there and they're profiting from their mistakes never again will I be going there go somewhere else never

I loved this place. No eggs or sausage in burrito. Straigh unsalted potatoes and unmelted cheese. 15 bucks for this. Garbage.

Example of one fry vs the other one that was possibly refried
    Alex E.

I ordered carne asada fries and I'm pretty sure half my fries were refried with new fries because half are perfect and the other half are super crispy like chips.

    This guy is huge!

It's not bad, it just lost some of what made it stand out. The food is still really solid though, which is why I keep coming back. The aguachile is one of the best things on the menu, super fresh with a good kick, and the tacos are consistently done right. Simple, clean, and you know what you're getting every time. It's a nice sit-down restaurant if you want to actually relax and eat instead of rushing through a meal. Service is usually solid even when it's busy. Fair warning, it gets packed after church and the wait can build up quick, so timing matters if you don't want to sit around. Not the same as it used to be, but still worth it for the food.

The food was honestly a hard 5 out of 10. The beans and chips were very good, but that was the highlight. It was just my husband and me: I got one shredded beef taco with a side of beans, he got three tacos, and we had two drinks total. The bill came out to $33 and some change, which just didn't feel worth it for the quality. I really wish it lived up to the Tacos & Beer I remember. Even the ambiance wasn't as vibrant as it used to be.

I could write a long time. But start with authenticity. Their own salsa which they are quiet free with. Quality fresh tortillas, that you can smell the corn...mmmm, and some from Mexico. They have a meat counter and their prices are competitive with the meat looking really good, some is in their own marinade. Speaking with the owner he said they would make anything to our request. He proved it by cutting up a fresh unseasoned chicken breast to make a burrito for my wife who does not eat seasoning on chicken. Darn burrito weighed about a pound. The street tacos, choice of meat, ???? $1.00. One dollar on Tuesday nights. Other $1 specials every other night of the week. Here is the kicker. About the same food that we get from Ai..... ssshhhh for $45 dollars for crappy food, we paid $32 dollars from Fiesta. That is under $11 each and we had food left over. I do not know if this is good news or bad: The owner says at end of month they are expanding the building to $10,000sq ft. . We just have to encourage them to keep the restaurant family, and neighborhood friendly. Good Luck Fiesta Taco.

The restaurant is always clean, and the atmosphere is comfortable with music playing at a good volume. It is a big improvement from the days when the music was blasting under the previous owners. As I often say, it's that first impression that does it for us. We were able to choose our own seating. Opened space seating with gorgeous art work on the walls. Wheel chair accessible, not crowded or confined. I normally enjoy chili that can burn your soul. However, what they lacked in heat, they far surpassed on flavor. Besides with my diet changes heat is not something I should be eating at this time :) So this restaurant was definitely what my body needed. {IMPORTANT} a semi hotter chili available upon request. My spouse enjoyed the vegetable omelet however, did not enjoy the French fries that came with it, would have rather had either Spanish rice or potatoes, the plate did include black beans which were super delicious. My spouse did truly enjoy the food tremendously. I ordered the spinach and mushroom vegetable enchilada plate which I too requested the black beans, it also included Spanish rice. Although, it was missing avocado slices, my personal favorite, and also a suggestion it would have been more amazing.
