The woman in the cashier took my order and when I asked her how much are the extra pieces of chicken (breast, wings, etc.), and I said never mind just take my original order, then (sad face came in). And you're jumping and asking me wether I wanted to make it a combo already? So this is a new location for me and when I went first time, I was happy with the service. So I decided to go second time few months later, still service was great but then there was lack of order taking because when I came home and that's when I realized so much was missing. El pollo loco is usually always good. They have a good variety on their menus, and their food always hits. This was my first time trying out this location since it was close by. I found a piece of hair stuck in my Mac and cheese half way thru, I wanted to puke. Not sure what hair but it was like a baby hair or facial hair or a guys hair or something, it was short as you can see on attached pic. Maybe masks and hair nets should be pushed when working in the food industry. Today as I was eating my chicken tostada salad, I find HAIR midway through my first meal of the day. Imagine the "hanger"...yes, so I proceed to call the store to let them know and asked for a refund. The manager (Brittany) was not very friendly from the moment I shared my concerning experience regarding HYGIENE in the food industry, she sounded immune to this issue and simply told me to come back for a new order, as according to her El Pollo CORPORATE does not allow refunds (this already sounds like BS given this is a HYGIENE issue, not the food tasted bad) Reardless, I agree to come back for a new order...again not friendly in person either, and upon my arrival she immediately is chatting with the workers in the back in Spanish --- which I thought was her explaning the situation. Upon getting my food (though I had lost my appetite at this point) I come home to find the so-called remade tostada salad which comes with a ton of chicken and half an avocado was FULL of just mexican rice, lettuce and sour cream. There must have been a total of 4 chicken pieces. I even THANKED Brittany (who is sadly the store manager) as I was leaving for her to immaturely ignore my thanks. I got home and realized the drive back was a waste and I will now take this up with their Corporate headquarters to inform them of poor management, zero customer care, and most importantly how they are careless of personal hygiene.
