So we went in and sat down and the gave us the menu but waited about 10 min and we decided to just order take out they did not come to take our drink order at least it wasn't busy they only had another table beside us and lady was just talking to another lady that work there instead of coming to get our order we ordered the jalea and and think it was picosa marisco something like that a mix of seafood with a sauce it only had chunks of potatoes and hardly any seafood and the jalea was just all fried seafood which was ok but not the best service was awful i don't recommend this read more

The flavor of each dishes are pretty good, specially the fried rice. The steak is thin but tasty. Staff is friendly and polite. Just the parking lot is bit small, but you can park across street and walk over. read more

Pollo Inka in Carson hooray finally it's open for years. I've been waiting for this place open. Got to it. Awesome. Enjoy it. Great place to visit Pollo Inka right across from Carson mall. I never thought it was going to open but it's open now. It's a good spot and three very very delicious food here so good they have different locations one in Gardena one over by Hawaiian Gardens but this location, is it locations plenty of parking it's not as big as the other locations but it's delicious. The cooking is still the same. Highly recommend it if you haven't been a point anchor it's right off the 405 freeway right by the Carson mall check them out the food is good prices is really reasonable you can dine in or you can take out so it's up to you but believe me you won't regret it there food is super super good check them out we did and we enjoyed our food read more

Finally got a chance to come for lunch. I'm so glad I did. Parking was tight and my driving skills was put to the test but I was able to squeeze in on an open spot. Lilly and her son are so lovely and attentive. My food was ready and hot and man my car smelled so good on the way to the office. We had Tallarin de Pollo (Chicken noodles), Tallarin Saltado (Beef noodles), and anthicuchos (beef heart). How can I forget the aguadito and aji verde. Yum!!! It was so very fresh, hot and delicioso. Generous portions, neither of us were able to finish our plates. I was hoping for CauCau, hopefully soon. We definitely be back again. Welcome to the neighborhood. read more

I have ordered here twice. I love all the El Polla Inka locations except this location, I have been to a total 4 locations. I always order the Aji De Gallina. The first time the chicken, the very little chicken bits in it tasted burnt and there so much potatoes. The second time very little chicken and potatoes tasted old. Great place to get your Peruvian fix! Extremely casual location and great customer service. Downside ... they serve their food with plastic utensils and plates. It's like an express pollo Inca. I typically love el Pollo Inka! The vibe here is a lil weird. I don't know if it's the lighting or all the black- but the mood is just not it. I was disappointed in my meal. It was so salty I could hardly eat it. I also asked for salsa criolla which never came. At least I didn't get charged for it. I'll try it again, and I'll ask them to hold back on the salt a bit. Food was good but the servers should really learn to UNDERSTAND more English.. I ordered a HALF chicken and because the server doesn't understand English she charged me for a WHOLE chicken.. it's just my 10 year old son and I .. why would a little child and woman order a WHOLE chicken for lunch? The owner, an older man named Juan accused me of potentially stealing at this restaurant when I came to pick up an order. As a young man of color, this was very triggering as he asked for my phone to confirm the information that I was giving him before even considering handing me the bag and saying that people like me have come in there and stolen food and they've had various incidents. I explained that I'm not a thief and that those incidents don't have anything to do with me. I'm not trying to steal from anyone but the establishment stuck to this policy of making people out to be criminals and demanded that I give my phone to him. This was extremely demeaning. This was an absolute invasion of privacy as I shouldn't have to give any person my phone to pick up food. I will contact corporate (Daniel Cespedes, Salomon Jaime) regarding this as this kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable. read more

I placed a to go order online. It was ready in no time. The inside is very small. I ordered the half chicken plate. The chicken seemed small. The french fries were not fully cooked and soggy. The salad was salad. The side soup didn't have much flavor but you can add the green salsa to it. NAH, pollo imperial in North Long Beach is the top dawg...its close enough to this place to just keep going. There isnt anything bad a bout the joint, but the food wasnt that good. The green soup had way too much garlic. I though perhaps there was a little chunk of chicken in there, so i scooped it up and bit it...YUK...it was a garlic clove. I got a 1/4 chicken. The chicken was bland. I drank maracuya, which was good, so theres that. The people inside are nice enough, but dude, pollo imperial has been the top dog for years, and nobody wants to claim the title. read more

I definitely will give this place 5 stars idk I had other possibilities 5 restaurants and so far this place takes the win ! Idk if it's because the price and quantity for food and quality as well. Their prices are very reasonable! I always get the same thing which is the pollo Saltado and it comes with a coup of their soup and a piece of bread for this I pay $15 and the portions are very Generous. I always eat the entire coup of soul because it doesn't taste the same the next day and I eat half of the pollo. The location in Gardena which is the one I go to is pretty big and I love the decor in there and I heard that on Fridays or Thursdays they have live music playing. I wouldn't know I usually go during lunch time and if I pick up dinner it's in and out I don't eat there. I definitely will be coming back as this is my favorite Peruvian place. read more

I've never tasted Peruvian food before but found myself in Carson and thought "why not"? and so glad I went to El Pollo Inka! The food was absolutely outstanding as was the service and the location itself (the plates are regular plates...the silverware is the usual thing - nothing disposable as of today). My son had the Lomo Saltado and I had something con camarones (a creamy, spicy sauced dish of shrimp and potatoes, served with garlic rice) - both totally delicious! You also get a nice bowl of garlicky chicken and rice soup to start and some fresh rolls. Altogether a very, very good meal and substantial amounts of food. I highly recommend! read more

My mom bought the 1/2 chicken meal and paid almost 18 dollars. When she got home she had the 1/4 chicken (very small piece) and the wrong sides. She asked for rice and fries and received beans and a salad. First and last time going to this location. We usually take the drive from Carson to Hawthorne for Peruvian food and we will definitely continue to do so. Best Peruvian food/deals are at Pollo Inka Express. read more
