They are primarily mousse based and I'll say the mousse texture is perfect. We got 5 different ones and heres my thoughts: La Noissette: yummy hazelnut flavor with chocolate inside 8/10 Strawberry milkshake: 5/10 the flavor was very subtle and surprisingly not that sweet. Mostly mousse with jelly inside Mango tart: 9/10 this one was my favorite. The mango had good flavor. It was sweet but not overwhelming. The tart crust gave it the additional element it needed Rasperry petit gateau: 6/10 also very mild in flavor. Almost sour. Wish it was sweeter. Again mostly mousse Pistachio: 6/10 tasted like pistachio butter. Again all mousse with some pistachios inside and pistachio butter. Good flavor. Would definitely recommend. The desserts are beautiful just wish the mousse based ones had added elements to give them more interest in texture, flavor. Her behavior felt arrogant and humiliating, and it made us feel looked down on. I happened to be at the tire shop across the street getting the tires changed on my car and needed to pick up some pastries for guests that were coming over that same day. One of those guests happens to be a baker so I really needed to find some fresh delicious pastries. I checked Yelp for nearby bakeries and La Jaconde popped up with really great reviews so I drove right across the street and picked up some baked goods. I picked up this big pastry that was stuffed with cream cheese and sour cherries (TRUST ME you want this), a box of mixed cookies and bite sized goodies, and a box of stuffed dates (don't knock it until you try it). EVERYTHING was fresh. Everything was tasty. And it got the stamp of approval from the baker friend. The cream cheese and sour cherry stuffed bakery literally disappeared in 10 minutes, and that thing was not small by any means. I returned to this same place the following week to pick up some savory baked goods for some friends, and the owner was at the shop and was so kind and so proud of his products (as he should be).
