El Patio is casual Mexican outlet located in the main street of Rosarito. This place has its own parking in the basement, this makes this place preferable. The food is decent, but they do not have Fish Burrito, but they managed to make one. There are few downside with our visit, the order was not correctly placed, they kept on forgetting things. We ordered 6 items, but only received 4 items and they have completely missed it. We waited 1 hour to get this food and eventually came to now, they completely missed it. They offer to get this order prepared and we denied as we were waiting already 1 hour. We ordered following appetizer, Melted Cheese and Guacamole. Melted Cheese came with no spinach tomato nor onions (Problem here) Main entrée , we ordered Vegetarian Combination, Vegetarian Burrito , Fish Burrito, Fish Tacos and Shrimp Combo, Nacos We never received Fish Taco not the Shrimp Combo. They also had a deal on Margarita, 90 pesos for two margaritas, it was good, no complaints there Overall this place has good food, decent ambiance but service must buckle up and not mess up the order. read more

As I was walking in downtown Rosarito I saw that this restaurant was advertising the boxing fight Crawford vs Brooks which is what drew us in We were actually trying to find a venue that was showing the fight!! Upon walking in our temperature is taken and hand sanitizer is given to us. We were also directed to "sanitize" the bottom of our shoes. The prices are reasonable. The menu is extensive I ordered chicken enchiladas came with a side of rice and beans. Friend ordered the same thing and our other friend ordered a burrito of carne asada We all ordered their drink special of 2 drinks for 5$. I got a margarita and a Paloma. Drinks were good. My friend did feel that her beans were cold she returned them only to never get them back lol We inquired about the beans. They brought her back the same cold beans. Smh They apologized for the lacking service. This venue is small but does have several TV strategically placed so that wherever you sit you can see a good view of the TV. There is also out door seating in the front of the restaurant. So you can people watch along with a TV on the outside of the patio. read more

This place is fire!!! I don't eat meat so I got the vegetarian combination and it was perfect because I got to try a little bit of everything. If you wanna try a taste of traditional Mexican cuisine I def recommend getting the combos. My friend got the pescado mariposa (butterfly fish) and it tasted like a honey walnut shrimp but with fish! It was so delicious our friends wanna go back just for that dish! Our server was so sweet and helpful to our large group. They have TVs here so we were watching the ufc fight right outside. The only good thing here are their chips and salsa. We both ordered the Fillet and it was definitely a cheaper cut of meat. I asked for mine rare and with no sauce. It came out with the sauce slathered all over it. I sent it back. I think they must of washed off the sauce and put it back on the grill. It was cooked well done. I ended up feeding it to my dog. The vegetables were old and dried out. The baked potato was ok, but miniature. Service was extremely slow considering we were the only customers. It took 10 minutes to get our chips and salsa and another 5 for our beers. The lukewarm tortilla soup came out 5 minutes later. The entree came out about 10 minutes after we finished our soup. We've been telling everyone we know down here how bad our experience was. read more

This was a favorite for many Rosarito visits and would even recommend it BUT... not anymore, the sad truth is that the guy sitting the customers as (we)isn't helping the restaurant by being rude and arrogant. Not once but twice over the weekend we visited the first visit (Saturday) we asked for sitting (6people)he simply said I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING FOR SIX - I'LL TAKE 4 ONLY... upon my suggestion that my wife and I would be ok sitting on another table he seemed bothered and even referred to my wife with a STUPID comment (no mention needed) yet we moved forward with the sitting... we noticed that there was a small table inside that would put us near our adult children (4) no biggie... we noticed a group of 6 nationals (men)sitting enjoying. Mr. Proprietor and restaurant owners: the next day we went back and the same IDIOT in worst attitude meets us in YOUR door step, again I asked him for sitting of 6 since the day before I saw the party of 6... he simply said I DON'T SIT SIX rudely I decided to simply walkaway thinking this guy must be a bouncer from a night club and accustomed to being an ass to the clientele. Unless he owns the place he is doing a disservice to you. We will not return nor will recommend to friends. read more

We came to watch the FIFA World Cup games and I loved the atmosphere I came with my daughter and parents and the atmosphere is very family friendly. If you are looking for a party atmosphere then this isn't the place. Food was delicious and it was also themed for FIFA which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend and plan to visit next time in Rosarito. read more

I stayed at the Hotel Festival where they offer free breakfast at the Patio. On a Saturday morning I took my daughter to get breakfast at El Patio they sat us down outside (there wasn't a lot of people since it was early) they brought us a menu maybe 10 minutes after we where seated... we waited another 20 minutes before I asked if I could place my order, the waiter said yes and never came back. I waited another 10 minutes and then left. We didn't get to try the food and sadly they didn't seem to care. It's Mexico... I wanna say that if your white, black, Chinese etc. They'll serve you 1st before they serve a Mexican (as myself) They want them dollar tips Lol so for now I won't visit or recommend this particular restaurant.
