This restaurant is located inside the Rosarito Beach Hotel Upon walking in your temperature is taken and hand sanitizer is given to you. Staff is friendly and greet you upon arrival Food was good. I ordered chicken flautas and a beer. Friend opted to order breakfast, pancakes and eggs with coffee The food was good. Our table had a nice view of the pool and the beach I did notice employees spaying tables down and wiping chairs after each guest. That is a plus There is a nice big bar also located in the restaurant

    yellowtail with veggies and beans.

Azteca Restaurant, located within the Rosarito Beach Hotel offers guests a traditional Mexican dining experience. As I walked through the arched entrance I noticed the decor of Mexico is punctuated with plastered walls painted in hues of earth-toned colors, large paintings, and hand carved wooden chairs. The restaurant offers a full bar with a well thought out menu and excellent customer service. From the moment we sat down our server took exceptionally great care of us. We started with a margarita of Corazon tequila and lime as we pondered the lunch menu. It was snack time, so to avoid ruining dinner we shared an entree of yellowtail, vegetables and refried beans. When our dishes arrived we were offered fresh bread and whimsically shaped butter on the side which was a nice change from the tortillas that are omnipresent in Mexico. The beans and vegetables were delicious, however the yellowtail was a bit over cooked and the kitchen had not removed the bloodline which has a strong fishy flavor that I am not fond of. I requested a bit of spicy sauce that was divine and when I return I will definitely request that chile sauce again. Azteca is a great choice for dining in Rosarito Beach as it offers ocean views, good food, outstanding service and is a great way to escape the loud and cheezy restaurants studding the tourist zone.

We decided to stay in and try the breakfast at the hotel called Azteca. I was pleasantly pleased with the service ambiance and the taste of my breakfast. I ordered the Chinchillas with egg and it was wonderful. We also ordered the giant breakfast which they were more than happy to substitute for French Toast and that was also pleasant. Pleased with all food, service and all in between.

Came with a big party and everyone had nothing but compliments about the staff and the food. I need to check this place during dinner time as well because their menu looks delicious

The Azteca Restaurant and Bar located off the main lobby of the Rosarito Beach Hotel serves Mexican and Continental entrees with the famous Puerto Nuevo style lobster as one of the house specialties. The Azteca had excellent service - it could not have been better. For breakfast the machaca was good, as was the vegetarian omelet and the camarones (shrimp) omelet. The orange and cactus juice blend was great. The shrimp cocktails are mucho bueno. The piano player said he was there from 10 to 3. The bar lets you take drinks to your room. We took a pitcher of marguerita to avoid a second trip. Our table by the window had a small plaque next to it on the wall that said Table 17 was the favorite of actor Robert Stack. I've heard that other celebs have haunted the scene here, such as Vin Diesel, Mel Gibson, Robert Redford, and others.

He sang karaoke with us and treated us great the food was good but unfortunately I did not take a picture of my shrimp Diablo, but it was really good but extremely spicy. My wife had the steak and baked potatoes as you can see in the picture the baked potatoes are different from what we're used to in America but it was pretty good all in all this restaurant is good and convenient, especially if you're staying at the La Paloma the server Israel has great energy and he also recommended a cab service and places to go shopping and eat for our trip for that were thankful and we really enjoyed this place. It's just a small little restaurant on the property, but the food is great. Cooks are good. Service is great.

The service was excellent, I feel like they treated us quite special and it felt like a hometown spot where our friends work. The food was really good! We had the shrimp cocktail, which ended up being shrimp, ceviche, sliced avocados on top chips and crackers, and it was citrusy, very lightly spiced (my partner is a slice wimp!), and super fresh. We Paired that with the shrimp pasta, and that was surprisingly delicious as well. The pasta was cooked a bit al dente, which is how we like it, lots of shrimp, with a really nice marinara sauce. The marinara sauce would not heavy, so it complemented the shrimp in the pasta really well. For Beverages, Daniel made me a special margarita. I don't do tequila very well, so he made a strawberry margarita, light on the tequila, heavy on the grand mariner. It had a little Tajin on the rim, a sliced orange and it was refreshing and delicious. The prices are hotel expensive though. So we ended up spending $50. I do remember Mexico being a place where you can get inexpensive food, but I guess not here. I mean, we got one appetizer one meal and two beverages. But we would come here again, because we had a great time!
