I've been looking for a new place to get my manis and pedis and now my search is finally over! One of my dear friends referred me to get my nails done with Vy and suggested that I make an appointment to minimize the wait time. It is such a cute place with good music playing. It is also very clean. One thing I noticed is that the employees seem to be genuinely happy. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted. My appointment started on time. It was nice to chat with Vy. She is so nice and very efficient with her time. She did an excellent job on my manicure...my nails look AMAZING!! I've already received compliments! Great price! Great service! Can't ask for more. I have come to this establishment 3 times for their pedicure services. I have had some of the best pedicures I have ever had. I have my own private nail tech so this review is ONLY for their pedicure service. Darina is wonderful at what she does. She pays such great attention to detail and really wants quality over quantity. My pedicures last for a long time and haven't chipped. The price ($40) for pedicure and gel polish is more than reasonable. There is also services like massage and a hot towel that are included, that other shops will charge extra for. I have had the same pedicure but for $55-$60 at other places. The customer service has been great each time. I have no reason to go elsewhere as I am very happy here for my pedicures. read more

If I could give this company less than one star, I would. I went in today to try and get a pedicure and a full set done. I'm pregnant with twins, so anything to make me feel less of a human incubator, the better. The pedicure was great. The woman who did it for me - my hats off to you. You were very kind and the massage was great. Please know my review is NOT directed at you. She then sent me off to a man, the owner, to have my nails done. I was bummed because I liked her, but you know, I figured ah well, all I wanted was an ombre set... How hard could it be? White top blended into pink. WRONG. The owner used orange instead of pink to overlay my nails, so now they look like fat pumpkins.. he also took my "please don't make my nails wide and fat" to mean I wanted the tips to be very narrow....think stilleto but literally nowhere close to that. He filed my nails down so much on the sides that you could see my skin, and it burned. The acrylic was uneven, my middle nail on my left hand was crooked and they were UGLY. I don't mean little glitch here and there ugly, I mean I traveled to what should have been a cosmetic school and the newest student decided to do my nails ugly. I was embarrassed. So I told him no, I'm not happy. And just like all the memes and jokes suggest, he FLIPPED OUT. Told me it didn't matter if I didn't like them, he out his hard work into doing them (dude, if that's your hard work.. I suggest a new job). He said he would not continue with my nails unless I paid him the $45. I said I wanted them off. That is how bad they were - like I will pay full price JUST TO TAKE THE ORANGE MONSTROSITIES OFF. He agreed, so I paid. Then he changed his mind. Said if I wanted them off, now I'd have to pay $15 more. So I got angry. Pregnant angry... You know, the kind you have no control over because you're crying and yelling and really wanting chocolate all at the same time. I told him to sit down and finish my nails then. He continued to argue with me. I may or may not have used adult words at this point. I told him to at least finish the damn nail set since I paid and to please stop talking. He said I was the worst customer he's had in 20 years. I cried. I went to Walgreens, bought 100% acetone and soaked them off myself at home, $45 later. Please pick a different shop. This was humiliating and didn't need to happen. There was no customer service here at all. He provided a service and the service was bad... It's not personal, but it is my right to say, "Hey, these look like bad, fix them." Steer clear. Go to the many, many other shops in the area. Trust me. read more

I'm from another state, visiting my Mother. Made an appointment for powder nails - showed the man my nails while describing what service I wanted. Come for my appointment and he acts surprised that I have powder and tells me I have to "take it off" (the old nail powder), and I tell him yes, I know.. my nail tech takes it off. After a bit more conversation I realize he just doesn't want to do powder. Complete Waste of my time. I would not recommend. read more

Cheap prices but they don't know what they're doing. I wanted a light pink polish, but they ran out. I then requested a white sparkle polish, but they were out too. She said she could make it by blending some but As she was painting my nails i kept asking why it wasn't white and she said the finished product would turn out white. Ummmm no. She also didn't finish off with a clear gel coat to seal the color. I asked if she was done and if I needed a clear coat but she said no Sooo not only were my nails not what I wanted, but the Gel chipped off within 48 hours. This is pretty disappointing since I'm gonna have to go to a new salon and pretty much get them done over again. read more

This is a nice nail salon located in NE El Paso. The techs are quick and friendly. I really like that all of their equipment is opened from fresh sterilized packages. The salon has comfortable chairs and two flat screen tvs. There is a good assortment of nail polish. I've also noticed that this business is man-friendly and the customers seem to be extremely comfortable receiving pedicures/manicures so, don't be hesitant! The only reason I left off a star was because the salon could use more ventilation. On busy hot days you can really smell the fumes. read more

Walked in at 630 asked for a pedicure and the gentleman working on someone's nails looked at the one woman doing pedicures and she said no and he turned around and said no we cannot do. This establishment doesn't deserve anyone's money if they can turn away a customer without service I can gladly go to the millions of salons around here that also has better reviews. Beware of the lack of service and the disregard to gain any business. Do not recommend. Not even if they were the only salon opened. Amazing salon I've been using El Paso Nails for years. I wouldn't use any other salon in El Paso. Vy, the owner was doing my nails this morning , she opened early to get me in to meet my schedule. Well this lady walks in and tells Vy, I'm early for my appt I need to soak my nails. Vy, tells her to have a seat and she'll get the soak when she has time and continues to work on my nails. This lady expected Vy, to stop immediately and go get her soak mix ready.. Simply rude then she gives Vy, a one star review for not servicing her!. El Paso Nails is a great salon you need an appointment and if you come in on time for your appt you wont have any issues. Vy, thank you for the professional, attentive service. I was a loyal customer for years and Vy is great, however I will not spend another dollar in this establishment again after the unprofessional experience I had yesterday with John. He ranted and yelled at me like I was a child over a quick 2 min fix of the gel color rippling and me asking him to fix it because he's "done this for years and it's my fault for not sticking my fingers all the way in the UV light". As I stated I've been going there loyally and put my hand inside the same EVERY SINGLE TIME and they came out just fine. I kept my composure after he confirmed he wasn't feeling good that day but then he persisted to yell and complain at me, the customer, about it not being his fault but mine. THEN on top of that when I go to pay I pull out their discount card that Vy has signed EVERYTIME I went and he asks me who's signature these are because they're not his wife's! So now he's insulting me basically saying I'm fraudulent over $2 off! Then to top it off my nail polish is HORRIBLE and chipping/peeling on almost every nail. I went to this salon because of the people's reviews. I was thinking it was a decent salon and they already knew what they were doing. It was was to expensive for me for what I got. I could of bought the nail polish and tools and saved money. I got a half ass pedicure and it felt very rushed and just polish on my nails it was horrible. This place is amazing! My girlfriend went to get her nails done and I decided to give it a shot since I always cut my toe nails wrong, and I've got to say this is very male friendly! I am giving this establishment 3 stars, I don't want to but I feel it doesn't completely deserve a 2 & it damn well doesn't deserve a 4. As a licensed hairstylist & nail tech myself, I expect salons to uphold the values of our businesses. The lady who works here is exceptionally friendly & is always busy with multiple clients & ones waiting as well when I've gone in both times. I was "taken care" of by a gentleman of few words, not rude by any means but unfortunately sloppy with his work, especially for how long I was in his chair. Two of my acrylic nails with shellac have straight snapped off at the point of adhesion within 5 days. I do not put my hands through hard labor so there is no excuse. Building a nail is elementary in the nail world. I am very disappointed as I am new to the area & am searching for a new "permanent" nail tech. Sad part is I was even charged for the first nail that snapped within 3 days of having it done in the first place. My tip was not well spent. read more

Both owners ( Vy and John ) are always kind and patient ( I have had spine surgery so do not always move the fastest ).... I have gone there several times and I am still looking for a good nail tech. The woman I went to was very pleasant and knew the women who recommended her but I am very dissatisfied with my nails. I told her I would rather have wider nails than not and that I wanted the fake nails to cover my real nails. After 6 months and 3 new sets, she still puts the shorter nails on me. She also doesn't glue down the new nails on the side but uses fill to try cover the gap. Not happy. read more
