I figured it's time for an update since it's been about 2 years from my original review. This says a lot about this location. I have tried a few other nail places out of quick desperation and NEVER AGAIN. I did that maybe 5 times in those 2 years and the other places screwed up my eyebrows or nails 100% of the time, I am loyal to Herbal Nails and Spa. When I went the other day I admit, my eyebrows had grown out like Chewbacca. This isn't like me as I always come here to get them shaped up. I walked in with my head down in shame. My favorite gal there looked at me and didn't even judge, she laughed with me and said I waited a while to come in! Let me tell you how glad I was that they grew out. She transformed them even better than they were before. I swear these ladies outdo themselves every time. I promised I'd be back for my pedi, and left with a smile on my face. I felt beautiful again. The massage chairs feel amazing, I love the quality I get from the pedicures, I'm always satisfied with my eyebrows, I can't hype them up enough. This is my little treat when I'm feeling down or sad, and always walk out with a little extra pep in my step. I recommend them for men and women too. Trust me, I see men in there all the time, this is not a weird thing. They get manicures and pedicures too, treat yourself! The best I can say is Meh. My nails are done so that's that. The picture of what I showed him compared to what I got wasn't right on but probably close. I could tell he was frustrated with me after I showed him the picture and he said I have this or that. I showed him the picture again which I will post along with what I got. He said this one is natural and this one is the same but more pink. I didn't want pink so I went with the natural one. I showed him the picture again and said do you think that color is close enough to get me this (the picture) and he told me just to pick he didn't know what I wanted (very frustrated). I asked for an oval shape and the nails are oval-ish, but the edges are a little rough and the ovals are far from perfect. For my toes I would say they were decent from far away, normal polish no gel. However on a closer look they are bubbled and one edge has a gash in it. Overall I got my nails done, am I super happy with how they turned out? No. I may go back but undecided if I will pay $55 just to get a so-so result. read more

Normally I wouldn't say anything but these wretched people will talk about u in Vietnamese. The tall one who did my nails, made a very rude comment because I didn't pick a nail color. My understanding was u tell them they get it. He tells this to the owner and both start laughing. The lady next to me bought the same pedi as me & yet her tech went all out & this guy didn't. Not impressed with them at all. Now I know why I stayed away from here so long. They change techs on a regular so I'd give them one more try before I drive to the other side of town. BEYOND disappointed in this place. I'm not the type to write bad reviews but this place blew my mind. My sister and I came here to get our nails done because we saw here on yelp that they do a good job and their prices are really cheap. We walked in, chose our colors and I sat down with a younger lady and showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted. I said a smaller coffin. She began cutting my nails and I told her which length was best but she kept cutting them shorter because they were all uneven. She cut them way too short and way too skinny. So of course I told that it's not how I wanted them and asked her very nicely to fix them. While fixing them she complained about how short my natural nails are as if I didn't know, if they're too short then just tell me you can't work with them. Once I asked her to fix them she immediately caught an attitude and argued that what I want is not a coffin. I get the same shape every time and somehow all of the other nail techs know what I'm talking about but her. I asked how much they would be and she wanted to charge me $43 when their prices say $23 so I brought that to her attention and she told me not to believe what I see online. ITS THE MENU FOR THEIR SALON. As soon as I brought up prices they started acting really weird and my sisters tech wanted to charge her $46 for the same exact nails I wanted. My tech "finished" my nails and believed they were ready to be painted so I told her I don't want polish and to leave them as is because it is not what I wanted. I feel that this place is very shady and rude when it comes to prices, the prices kept changing and they didn't tell us until we had to ask in the middle of the service. read more

I read the reviews and saw mainly good things, a few negative ones here or their, but I figured I'd give it a try, since I'm down the street and it's the highest rated salon nearby. I show up and the guy tells me to pick a color and take a seat. I sit down and a gentleman comes to me and starts asking me questions for the pedi and then gets started. He is extremely rude in the sense that he just hits the places where he wants my feet, and as he's cutting my nails etc, he is hurting my toes. Multiple time I flinch or pull away because of how painful it was. He used his LONG nails a lot to clean up the nail polish and pick stuff out of my nails, all of which EXTREMELY hurt. When he was done I got up and said thank you and walked away. Left paying $40 plus a $5 tip for a super painful session. Got my nails done here last week and they look amazing! They were pretty packed when I went in (about a 1 hr wait) which is understandable but if you don't want to wait you should set an appointment before going in. The guy who did my nails was very friendly and he did not rush while doing my nails. He did make my cuticles bleed a little however I've never been to a nail salon who hasn't done that. Prices aren't that bad, I got nude acrylics with a gold glitter fade for $42. I will definitely come back here again and again. read more

If you want a relaxing, clear fixed price dip/manicure and pedicure, find somewhere else. I went in with my mom and sister before thanksgiving for a special treat for all of us. While we were getting our pedis, my sister asked how much for the dip. They said "$35". My sister said she wanted dip and I said I wanted to pay for my mom to get hers done as well. While they were preparing my sisters nails for the dip, (clearly she already had dip on), they put her nails in acetone which is the correct way to do that, THEN they said "oh we charge extra to take off the old one". NEVER in all the years I have been getting dip/sns have I had someone say they are charging to take off the old one. If it was acrylic, yes. Then she added on "also we charge to take ur cuticles off". What?? Isn't that part of a manicure/dip/sns? Again, ALL the other nail places I go, they do not charge extra for that. Additionally, the ladies were not polite even as all 3 of us were trying to make small talk and avoid the uncomfortable silence. When the issues were brought to the attention of management, they said "well, we told u it was extra". Ummm, yeah after u started the service! Definitely go elsewhere that has clear prices and that stick to the price without adding charges to quoted price after giving it, giving u no choice but to pay more unexpectedly. read more
