I've been to so many other nail salons. Many with sloppy work and poor customer service. At times I'd even feel as if I was a nuisance to the employees. However, every time I have been to DT Nails, I am greeted with a warm welcome. Ben and his staff are very professional. I was a loyal customer until the one day the owner of the salon was very rude. He was short staff that day and I ask around what time I was going to be next since my hands were in acetone for over an hour and his wife was the only one helping another customer. He said I can come another day. Obviously he was having a bad day. Then I ask him about my nails getting thinner and he told me I should go to another salon! It must be something wrong with this guy if non of his previous employees work there any more. Love this place but waited for a hour and half for just a pedicure and wasn't busy at all.

I'm visiting from California & I could not find a nail place that did a decent job. I decided to stop by DT Nails since I had not gotten a fill for about 2 weeks. I'm so glad I decided to come here. They did an amazing job on both my fill & my pedicure. They also had a large variety of gel polish colors. Prices were decent as well. I would definitely recommend! read more

I always get what I ask for with the Gel and Manicure. They are very professional. The only downside is the long wait because of Walk-In.

Went in to get my acrylics removed and a mani & pedi. The gentleman attending to me would not listen to my request, filed through skin, was clumsy, and did not do a professional nail job. Had to return to get it redone within minutes of leaving because it was not dry and it cost me $50 I didn't get anything fancy soo ridiculous! And the paint chipped the next day. If you do decide to go I say stick to the woman they take pride in their work. Starting from the beginning: I enjoy doing rainbow nails so naturally I needed 5 different colors while soaking my hands in the acetone I had 30 mins to stare at the wall of nail polishes and decide on my combination. When they were ready to start the pedicure I asked the gentlemen to give me the colors I requested from behind the counter. He gave me the color wheel instead and walked away. I told him I already knew which colors and then he rolled his eyes and gave me the colors. I put the colors in order to the combination I wanted my five fingers and handed it to him. From the table to the pedicure chair he had already changed the combination. Pedicure: The gentleman asked me to put my feet in the water which was too hot for my skin and I told him he "lowered" the temperature but again too hot. The entire pedicure he just made me leave my feet outside the water and only used the water to wet his utensils and rinse the oil and lotion off my feet. I was pretty confused. Then trying to correct the order he had changed I asked him to show me the pink next to the orange and instead of showing it he painted it on. After I said I didn't like it he painted over that color with the color I wanted. He didn't not remove the color he painted over it! Manicure: without waiting for him to again change the order of the colors I took the colors from the pedi chair to the mani table and put them in the order I wanted within his reach. AGAIN he moved the colors into a different order in front of me! So I moved it back in my order. In order to do the mani he first needed to remove the mushy acrylic that had been soaked. He filed both my thumbs right on the skin and when I said ow he decided to use a paper towel to pull the mush off. Then he painted my nails but he never touched the sides of my nails. It honestly looked as though I had painted my own nails. When he put the top coat on, he got color from one nail on the other. We both looked at each other and instead of redoing it he tried to paint the color off with the clear coat. Then moved on to the other nails wiping the brush each time. After I pointed out that the color was still on the nail he put another layer of paint on it and set me to dry no top coat but a thick glob of paint. He left me sitting there and an older male working there finished me with cuticle oil and had determined my nails were dry. Leaving the salon my thick globbed nail was already messed up. I had bubbles on the other nails and like I said it looked like an amateur like myself did my nails. So after dropping off my family I drove back and had one of the woman redo my hands. She paid attention to every detail even dried my hands under the uvlight after every layer to ensure prefection. And when I went in and explained that they were horribly done the gentleman who attended me ignored me and when I sat in his chair asked "why are you still here what do you want?" I am not high maintenance as this story would lead you to believe I went in with the thought that I'd get $25 mani/pedí and feel relaxed when I left. My aunt wanted to try this place so I joined her. I go at least once a year to the salon but that's it. This was the worst experience I'd ever had including the time I got athletes foot at solar nails. I felt ignored and like I was the pickiest person in the world asking for something that wasn't customary from salons. If I'm gonna pay a ridiculous amount of $50 I'm not gonna leave with nails I could do myself! read more

Let me just say that I didn't get the chance to actually have my nails done here but the experience that lead to that is what is driving this review. First, I'm not a local so I basically came here straight from the airport. Upon entering, I am not greeted by the 2 ladies working there. They don't ask me what I'd like to have done, so I just sign the book and take a seat. It takes probably 15 minutes for someone to say anything to me, but he's really friendly and brings me a water. At no point does anyone really tell me how long it will take but I have nothing to do so I'm ok waiting. What really did it for me is that I was there for about an hour waiting before anyone else came in. After about 30 to 40 min someone is finally done and I think, ok I'm next. .. to my surprise he takes the other person first. I don't care if she may have had an appointment but at that point, knowing that someone was coming in later, he should have told me so that in the 2 hours that I waited I could have done something else and come back or made the decision to go somewhere else.
