Nothing bad to say about this place. The food is easily the best mexican food I've had in this area and the girl behind the counter is always friendly and welcoming. Decent selection of beer and very good prices all around. The ambiance is comfortable and inviting and the outside balcony seating is really nice. This place is hit or miss. I've been here several times over the last year. While their fish tacos are amazing I ordered a burger that was underwhelming. My friend got nachos and was disappointed but I got a taco salad that I loved. I am not sure if it depends on who is cooking or what you order but you can't go wrong with the taco salad, breakfast burrito or fish tacos. I would stay away from the American food and stick to the Mexican. read more

We moved to Fallbrook about a year ago and have been here a handful of times. Food is good, menu offers a wide variety despite specializing in Mexican food, prices are great. Portions are good. Customer service is average/good - location is awesome, especially for those of us who live further east in Fallbrook/Bonsall/Pala. Definitely recommend! read more

I've lived a few miles from this place for 20 years, but only started coming during the pandemic. Very quaint , right across from Live Oak Park. Casual but excellent. Plenty of outdoor dining. Great Mexican food, including their chips and guacamole- yum! But they also have a variety of salads, burgers, bowls, and more. We get dinner here probably twice every week and strongly endorse! The street tacos and carnitas plate are awesome! Avocado Lime Salad with Salmon is my "go to" but I guarantee you will be happy here! read more

After reading all the great reviews I was excited to try this place. Unfortunately they didn't impress me. Totally bummed , because I love the location and the outdoor seating area is excellent. I don't know if the cooks we're just having a bad day, but the food was lousy. The taquitos came out very hard and overcooked. Couldn't even eat them. Meat was dry. The carne asada fries lacked flavor and the fries were overcooked and hard. Meat was very plain as well. I was really hoping to like this place, because of the location. El Parque has some of the best priced tacos in San Diego County. I usually get 5 mini tacos for $6.99, which is an amazing deal because they actually aren't that mini at all. On tuesday's they offer these tacos for $1 a piece!! Additionally, The location is very cool. It's right next to Live Oak Park, which is where the city of Fallbrook was established. Almost like you are in a forest. The inside of the restaurant is very nice and clean too. The only reason why I'm giving four stars is because I have been a few times where the tacos didn't taste as fresh. I'm not sure if it was reheated meat or what, but consistency is key to a good restaurant. read more

I really like this cute quite looking restaurant, its located in a beautiful area with outdoor and indoor dining. Good beers on draft or bottle, and the foods is great, so far I've had there breakfast burrito, which is a little smaller than I'm used to, but the flavor was right on.. I think I was the salsa they make thy I really enjoyed with it. Rolled tacos and shredded beef tacos plus enchiladas All get good marks in my book. read more

I ordered 8 rolled tacos and a cheese quesadilla to go on the phone at 1:52PM. I arrived at the restaurant at 2:02PM. There were 5 people in the place. One couple told me he ordered a burrito at 1:45PM. His order showed up at 2:20PM. I got my order at 2:25PM . She dropped my food on the table and just walked away without any explanation. It was not busy by any stretch of the imagination!!! Very poor service!!! We will be returning again! The food is not worth the wait! Go to another Mexican restaurant! read more

The food is decent and the staff is very nice. Their salsas are not good, they do a standard red and green which is very watery and lacks flavor. They have great burgers which I was surprised about! Everything is priced extremely fairly as well- I am not sure when they last raised their prices but it seems like it has been awhile. read more

Love the setting. Food is pretty good. What makes this a three star restaurant is all the disposable plastic and styrofoam they serve you. Not only does it cheapen the whole experience -- it is a horrible and unnecessary contribution to landfills. Also, they list "single item" under "combo plates".... huh? Will update my review if this restaurant decides care more about their impact on the planet and replaces their cups, plates, straws and cutlery with non-disposable sustainable alternatives. Really though - paper plates would be much preferred to the weird plastic troughs they put their otherwise tasty food in. read more

Had to rewrite this review after earlier giving them 5 stars. It's still very good but they've slipped a bit. The burritos are still very big and good and burgers are maybe the best in area. Unfortunately the fries are huge disappointment - frozen fries that are among worst I've ever had. The service here is spotty. The phones for take out are often either busy, or just ring continuously. When I came back in to complain about a previous take out order I got a pretty grumpy response. As a long-time customer I expected better. I hope El Parque gets back to where they were- the best Mexican place in town read more

Great tacos! The service is pretty speedy and there's a nice space to sit outside. You order inside and they bring the food to you. They have a few Mexican drinks, including (generous) horchata. It gets crowded at the peak lunch hour and the parking situation is bad-a very small parking lot at the business, with paid parking ($3) across the street. read more

Love the atmosphere of this place. The prices are absolutely AMAZING!!! That being said, all the food was good, the Western Burgers are great size and great tasting, and the other foods are good too. The Taco Salad was a little small, but for the price no complaints. Service is fantastic, food gets to you quick. The south burger is bomb & the beer off tap is just as good. No doubt about that. The customer service is very inconsistent; it's either a hit or a miss. Last Friday night, was a miss. Switched tables three times because none of them had been wiped down and one of the girls working there was passively giving us the boot by making it OBVIOUS that they were going to close (6:40pm) I recommend giving this place a try earlier in the day. read more

Use to love El Parque until ownership changed. We live across the street and came in weekly. Food and menu have changed, last time we ordered I was very disappointed. Taquitos were so hard I didnt even finish them and the carne asada was very tough. Last week they had live music and one of the bands was so loud and horrible. The music traveled all over the local area and we had to close my windows. (Not a fan of death metal.) Won't be returning again anytime soon. Placed my order around 5pm today Sunday, for two orders of fish and chips. typically this dish has been very good to excellent in the past (I know, Mexican restaurant, go figure) Takeout order took about 25 mins. Unfortunately, today's order was basically burnt batter and soggy fish along with overdone hard fries. Highly disappointed. I don't understand why anyone in the kitchen would think this would appropriate to serve. I understand if the Kitchen got behind on their tickets, I would have patiently waited for the orders to be prepared right. I do hope management takes the appropriate actions. Otherwise, my trust in food here will be dismissed with and anymore future visits. JG read more
