Upper Crust is such a cool little find! Great coffee…read more(exactly what you want when you walk into a cozy neighborhood spot) and the sourdough bread is fantastic -- definitely grab a loaf to take home. Fresh, flavorful, and totally worth it. They also have really fun merch -- cute t-shirts and hats that actually make you want to rep the place. Love a café with personality and good swag! Overall, I really enjoyed my time there. Relaxed vibe, quality coffee, and delicious bread -- I'll absolutely be back.

I purchased two loaves of the sourdough and two loaves of the seeded bread. I cannot wait to go back up and purchase sourdough again! I am very particular about my sourdough bread and this one you can taste the sour. Fresh market is the only other place that I can taste the sour in the sourdough bread. They offer pastries as well and different coffees. In the same plaza, they have a fish market that has great fish dip that went perfectly with the sourdough. The service was great and friendly. There is a raised area on the floor where if you're not looking, you can trip easily. I recommended that they put a bright orange piece of tape on it to get people's eye to notice there's a ledge. The ambience of the place feels like a bakery with all the different selections that you would see in France. If you are in the area go check it out! Enjoy!

I went with a lingonberry custard pastry (I forgot what the actual name was) and it was absolutely delicious! The tart lingonberries, creamy custard, flaky pastry, and sweet glaze all complemented each other so well. I do wish there was a lot more filling and that it was more evenly distributed, as I only got a few bites with the filling and the rest were just plain pastry with glaze (still yummy though). The service was very quick and the people behind the counter were helpful and friendly.

We got to Baker Baker around 8:10am on A Saturday and they were already sold out of most things,…read morewhich honestly just shows how loved they are. The lady at the front was so kind and welcoming, even though it was clear they'd had a rush (it was Easter weekend, so totally understandable that people came early and stocked up!). Everything is super reasonably priced, all items are $3, and you can get a half dozen for just $12. That's wild for the quality you're getting! They have an amazing variety: danishes, cookies, pound cakes, and more. We ended up with a vanilla glazed cinnamon bun, lemon pound cake, cinnamon danish crunch, almond cloud cookie, karma cookie, and a pecan pie bar to split with one of my close friends, and every single bite was absolutely delicious. I wish I had known there was a line forming right at 7am. I would've rolled out of bed sooner. Thankfully, they told us you can call ahead and reserve, which we might just do next time because I'm already thinking about going back. I highly recommend the danishes & vanilla cinnamon glaze glazed bun and the pecan pie bar! This place is one of those spots you'll want to visit again and again, just get there early or call ahead to snag the goods!

We went to Vietnam a couple years ago and now anytime she has a chance to get Banh Mi she does. We'd been here before but I think they recently added the Korean sticks to the menu. I always get a #1 without cilantro or mayo. They haven't messed it up yet. Pate is not really an American thing but it's a good combination. There's a dark sauce they put on the sandwich too which is really good. There's are freshly sliced jalapeños so take note if you don't like spicy. They are very thinly sliced so it's not overwhelming but there's a little kick. My wife got a sandwich but also tried one of the Korean sticks. She got the stick without a hotdog. It was basically a block of cheese coated in diced potatoes, kind of like frozen breakfast potatoes you can get at the grocery store. They deep fry it so the cheese is completely melted. I think she's glad she tried it, but I don't think she was impressed. We'll just stick to Banh Mi next time.

It took a while for anyone to greet me to take my order but after I ordered it did come relatively quickly. Not as fast as other banh mi places though. The banh mi itself was probably the worst one I have ever had. The bread tasted refrigerated and was very chewy. It actually took a lot of effort for me to bite and chew it. Definitely not good eats. Ambiance was nice with plenty of seating.
