I've been to this cozy establishment many times and it never disappoints! Always seated quickly, a huge menu of options to choose from, food comes quickly, and no matter what I get - it always tastes delicious! There's tables and booths on one side, a bar and high top seating on the other side, and an outdoor patio where they sometimes play some fun upbeat music! Servers are always nice, prompt and hard working. It definitely can get busy in there and pretty packed at times, but the food is more than worth it! Hate to do this, but... Waited a solid 15 minutes after being seated with no one taking our food order, drink order, or even dropping off water chips or salsa. Meanwhile, the table next to us was talking loudly about how it had already been 45 minutes since they placed their order and were contemplating walking out if they hadn't already been served drinks. Across the dining area, however the couple that was sat the same time we were, already had their drinks and chips, and it appeared they had also ordered entrees. Again, don't know what the problem was, but there seemed to be plenty of staff zipping around. I guess they were all just focused on the patio. Granted, we too would have preferred to sit out there as it was a beautiful evening, but we're not even given the option. Instead of suggesting it the hostess though, I just assumed they were probably already full out there. Anyway, 15 minutes to the second, my wife and I walked out. Not something we have felt the need to do in 15+ years. Our decision was based not only on being ignored for 15 minutes, but also the assumption that if we did place our orders, we would be stuck for another 45 minutes before the food came out. We ordered a steak and shrimp dish and a veggie fajita dish, steak dish came and it was not hot (room temp) and fajita meal tasted like the person cooking was probably smoking a cig while they prepared the dish. We did not eat these meals. When waiter came to ask if we had wanted dinner to go instead (bc we hadn't eaten but 6 bites between both meals), I explained it tasted very poorly and was not hot. He said he'd have them fix it but we weren't interested in trying again due to already feeling a little annoyed at the amount of fruit flies there were. He said "OK, here" and laid the bill down, took our plates, and walked away. I explained to the waiter cashing us out that we didn't eat the food and it wasn't right to have to pay the full amount (we did eat half a basket of chips and had a lemonade so we owed that cost indeed) but, no surprise, his English speaking and understanding went out the window. 10 out of 10 do NOT recommend this establishment. ​ read more

I liked the menu a lot. There were several vegetarian options along with her usual fare. Also a few of the dishes could be made Vegan very easily by simply leaving off the cheese. I thought the Salsa Picosa was very tasty without being too hot. They had a tasty Jalapeño Margarita. What I did not care for however was their hurrying us to leave. We went in after a funeral and so we're catching up with friends and they kept coming to the table and telling us that they needed to seat someone else. There was an empty table behind us and they have a table that they reserve for themselves but they told us twice that they needed the table. Very tacky I thought. It was a Thursday so it's not like there was a mad rush. It's 50/50 as to whether I go back because of this rudeness. read more

It's good to know that I have another Mexican restaurant to choose from that is pretty close to home. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was nice, although lighting was too dim. (It was hard to see my food when it came out.) I ordered a platter with a taco, chalupa, tamale, enchilada, and rice and beans. I'd say the food was average. We love this place and are so happy to have them close to home. They do have live music every week which is really nice as well. Unfortunately my husband is very ill so we can't dine in often but we order carry out several times a month. I don't think we have gotten anything we did not enjoy from El Mariachi. The food is all good and the prices are extremely reasonable! My husband's favorite is the Combo meals so he can mix and match to try different things but he loves the Chimichanga the most! If you have not tried this place I definitely suggest you do! read more

Me and my pals come here for a night full of good eatin' and lots of giggles. Starting off with the pros, the chimichangas were very good, and everyone else seemed to love their food despite my pal getting a suprise when biting into chicken despite him asking for beef. He still ate it tho. Was kinda disappointed over the no ice cream but giving us just the cheesecake is very generous and it was very appreciated. We have eaten here before and it was okay. Took my in-laws and it was horrible. Started with stale chips and something green and are shredded cheese. He said the chips were all the same made that day took them away didn't bring us any back took the cheese away and just brushed off the Green spot said it was probably lettuce. My sister-in-law ordered shrimp tacos he brought her fish tacos. Offered her more shrimp tacos. She said no then she saw a Bug in her taco!! Great service and patio but don't order fish tacos. It cost $8.99 but it looks like the split one grilled filet into 3 small tacos. No pictures since you cant see the fish under the cheese and lettuce. A couple of the chips were stale. Lots of room for improvement. read more

We did a drive by yesterday and my husband peeked in to get an idea of the atmosphere. Owner said, "Great food & great service please check it out. We came the next day. We are currently buying a home to get a field of the neighborhood crowd. The waiter had zero personality and we were not feeling welcomed at all. Others received food and we were still waiting to order. Other waiter noticed we looked annoyed and went to get our waiter. We see other waiters very attentive and friendly. Mexican pizza looked amazing on picture sounded delicious with all the different toppings, told them to go light on cheese but instead I got a pizza crust sauce and cheese with clumps here and there of spinach and a few pieces of peppers...
