My chorizo torta was good: the bread was soft, and the sandwich included sliced avocado and refried beans in it. I don't usually order tortas, but the menu here is so long and overwhelming, and the torta was the item I landed on when the server came to our table to take our order. I don't regret ordering the torta, though -- in fact, I think it turned out to be a smart choice. They have a kids menu, and a burrito is an option. I got two burritos con arroz y frijoles, and when I asked that cheese be added to the inside of the burrito, no one understood why anyone would ask for cheese inside a burrito, and they kept asking if I wanted cheese on the outside. If you've read my other reviews about Indiana Mexican food joints, you'll know that the definition of a burrito is fluid here, and can be anything -- including a plate of beans with a tortilla folded on top. I think the kitchen just decided to ignore my request for cheese because the kids' burritos didn't have any cheese, either inside or outside. Whatever -- I just told my kids to pretend there was cheese in their burritos. Also: The burritos from the kids menu are super small. Almost like they are made with fajita-sized tortillas. Just keep this in mind if you have a child with a large appetite. We also got enchiladas, which came out cold. The chips and salsa were OK. Overall, the price was very high for a family meal that was just mediocre. read more

My service guy at the dealership recommended this place and the service is friendly and food is delicious! Forget CORONA and enjoy a SOL instead! The first time I came in someone played the juke and it startled me how loud it was lol. From the outside the parking lot has some serious parts of pavement that needs work but you cannot miss the building because it's bright YELLOW! We had a large party of 7 today (Saturday) for lunch. Ordered several different dishes, most of which were extremely overcooked and dry. I had Mar Tierra Miguey and the chicken and skirt steak was so dry & overcooked it was inedible; husband had chicken enchiladas that were so dry he couldn't eat them....son said Mole was just OK. We had been going to this restaurant for years. The last couple times we went we had servers that were new, (that's not an issue). There were several mistakes made with our order (we are a party of two). It is how those mistakes were handled by the servers. We were forgotten about after not receiving half our order-our server no where to be found. 30 minutes late she appears- to "check on us" um where is our dinner? To which she informs us the kitchen is now closed.... So she brings out the sides and tortillas without the hot portion or the main dish then tells us the kitchen is closed. I asked her to please explain this to me as a customer who has been waiting on their order! No explanation nor apology-just our ticket to pay! So on our way out as we pay for our drinks, sides, and tortillas (had to ask for the other items to removed!) the manger who see us in there all the time- his response to what had taken place, "come back tomorrow morning when the kitchen reopens"! I got 4 tacos with flour tortillas "my choice" for $10.50 and for lunch they were huge I should have only got two. Lunch fajitas were also decent "nothing to write home about" but came wit all da fixins and were only $7.50 at lunch. There are also a few breakfast selections as they open at ten and plantains! This is an excellent place for authentic Mexican food! I always get the same thing so I can't really comment on the whole menu. My favorite dish is called El Rancherito. I've been to this location several times and the food is usually great. However the last few times have not been so swell. Last time it took almost an hour to get our food. Our server tried to play it off like it was because a large party had an order in front of us but they were already done eating. When the food finally came to the table it looked so sloppy like they just threw it on the plate. Today we ordered our food to go which was a definite mistake. While it didn't take long to prepare, my entree was overly salted and the rice and beans didn't have much flavor. The platano tasted old and microwaved.
