By far my favorite Mexican restaurant. You won't be disappointed with this entree. It is delicious!!!

    Burrito.. it's huge!

This is my second visit this week! I rarely come to the west side but when I have to venture here to get my car worked on the WEST side has the best authentic Mexican restaurants! My service guy at the dealership recommended this place and the service is friendly and food is delicious! Forget CORONA and enjoy a SOL instead! The first time I came in someone played the juke and it startled me how loud it was lol. From the outside the parking lot has some serious parts of pavement that needs work but you cannot miss the building because it's bright YELLOW! For some odd reason ALL the windows still have Valentine's Day decorations too and it's already almost end of Feb! Haha. I LOVE the regrows beans and rice!! The best I've had yet!

I been here a couple times and always come for the crab legs. They are so good with the perfect spices. Good atmosphere but the service could be better. We normally have to wait close to 45 minutes for our food. The house margarita is very good and strong.

If you are looking for us intake Mexican food, that is clearly made with love and care, then this is the slot for you! From the homemade tortillas, to the meat options, to the amazing staff, you just can't go wrong. I was so excited to find that they made their tortillas fresh in the restaurant, I smell I hadn't encountered since I was in Texas. I went with a slightly larger group for a work lunch, and they were so accommodating and kind to everyone's questions and potential substitutions. What did I order, the biggest quesadilla that they had on the menu full of cheese and shrimp enjoy! If you're on the west side and have not checked this out, make sure you get there this weekend.

Food was delicious! We were traveling to Missouri and spent the night in Indianapolis. Looked on Yelp for Mexican food. The place we found wasn't a full service restaurant with drinks for 2 couples. Instead we found this restaurant. Wow!!! Great way for 2 couples to end a 3 week vacation to celebrate our 40 & 41st anniversary. Authentic food. We recommend this restaurant.

Some of the best guacamole on the westside!!! I had two tacos as well as frw chips n salsa, that was definetely enough to fill me up. The service is ok, i think mostly because of the language barrier. But the food is a great

    This is so good.

This place has a really good variety of food to choose from from typical choices to seafood. The service is always great. I've been here more than a few times and have always had great food.

I used to come here as a kid, it was nothing like I remembered. American mexican food - al pastor burrito (the meat was chopped like chorizo and dry), and a super sour michelada

While there are no Guinea Pigs on this menu (thank goodness), you can find things such as beef heart or octopus and mussels. I had #37 I believe it's called Camarones Ajilos, but don't quote me on that. It came with Shrimp in a delicate sauce, fries, white rice and a little salad all on one plate. All of it delicious. I was there with part of my dining group of course and while everyone ordered a different dish, I heard no complaints at all.

The food is absolutely delicious. I personally love their pork dishes and the beef empanada for an appetizer. The moro rice as well as the yellow rice are both so tasty. I prefer the sweet plantains over the tostones, but that's just my preference. And don't forget to indulge in a dessert or maybe a Cuban coffee after your meal. I tend to bring my foodie group here regularly and while they are a picky bunch, I have not heard any complaints about the food here. The prices are still very reasonable and the service friendly.

The food was edible. The people serving and making the food are not Cuban and have a really hostile attitude. We were immediately seated and our food came out rather quick (15-20) minutes after placing the order. The lady the entire time was almost rushing us and trying to get us to order more than what we wanted. The food was hot but did not have a fresh/authentic taste coming from a Cuban.. At the end of it we were overall satisfied with our food and were paying when the lady took the paying machine from my husband insisting he tipped %15. He was tipping a custom amount to make the amount even but she said it was usual for people to leave %15. He asked if it was obligation to select the %15 option or if he could put the custom amount he wanted and she said he could put whatever but people usually put %15.. My husband then paid no mind to it because she was just confused probably thinking he was going to pay less than %15 percent. She then grabbed the machine and his card and said "No. Don't. It doesn't matter," had him pay, and stormed back into the kitchen saying "Next time i will put it in there myself." There wont be a next time, at least not from us. I was very disappointed with the service at this restaurant.

They were busy at lunch with eat-in and carry-out orders. The parking lot was full. But we're we're able to get a table for two. When we came in, they called out their English speaking server, Karla. Karla was supper friendly and attentive. I had two of their special pupusas. They were served with limes, sauce and curcido, which is a spicy marinated cabbage mix. The shrimp pupusas is stuffed with bits of shrimp mixed with a generous amount of creamy cheese. The chicken pupusas was filled with a lot of chicken and small amount of cheese. Both pupusas were excellent. I also had a chicken taco, which was a pretty standard Street taco. The chicken was moist and yummy. The restaurant and parking lot could use some love. The dining room could use a coat of fresh paint and have ceiling tiles repaired. The parking lot needs to have potholes fixed and could use some lines. That said, I'd come back in a heartbeat. The food is that good.

There seemed to be just two people working there. There was someone who was waiting longer than I was. It was very cold inside which did not help when I was waiting for so long. I was disappointed with the wait time, however the pupusas were amazing. The hot sauce and slaw(?) that came with them were great too. I especially liked the one with chicken and cheese. In the future I will always call ahead of time to place an order rather than waiting there, and I advise everyone to do so.

I drove by here all the time and then heard it was featured on Diners, Drive-In's, and Dives. I had been curious to try it out for a while now and I finally logged a couple visits. At the moment, they're only open for the drive through and curbside pickup while they're under construction to introduce indoor seating. I suppose I'll have to visit again to be able to rate the ambiance. I've had friendly interactions with both times I came. One time, I had the food brought out to my car, while the other time I had to drive back around to pick up my order. Both times, I got the empanada combo and that was well worth it! For $17 you get three empanadas, some churros and Dulce de leche, and house made kettle chips. I'll rank my favorite empanadas in order: Oreo cheesecake (oh yeah, you read that right!) Birria Argentine chorizo Creamy chicken S'mores Cheesy pineapple bacon These are all great. This was a hard list to make. I would definitely recommend all of them if you have the chance to order more. I also want to try all the empanadas on their menu eventually. The kettle chips are on the less salty side, which I prefer. I think they have a hint of sweetness to them. The churros... on their own they're pretty decent but the Dulce included? Next level. I always save my leftover Dulce to find something else to dip in it. How I have leftover is beyond me but I won't complain! Overall, I think Che Chori has a pretty expansive menu, considering that empanadas, burgers, and pizza are very different things. I'm not sure how the others stack up, but I will definitely be back for the rest of the empanadas!
