It's an easy place for all kinds of gatherings, especially ones with big groups and a thirsty penchant for beer. In a place like Webster where chains rule and suburban life is abundant, Saloon Door stands out as an excellent local option. It may not look like much from the outside and even the interior is minimal, but that somehow doesn't matter when groups of people are enjoying their brews together. They host all sorts of events and also allow for private use of dare venue space. Any first timer should absolutely indulge in a beer flight with some kind. The brewmasters are kind enough to let folks sample to their heart's content. Not everybody is beer savvy (#1) but they do a good job of recommending the right ones for any given palate. I appreciate their selection of stouts, ales, light brews, and IPAs. I have a fondness for their peanut butter milk stout, as well as dar dildo pickle gose. The tasty AF is also a good one, as is the lava imperial hot rock beer. The ladder has an ABV of 11%, so it is the most potent one in their lineup that I know of. Most breweries like this aren't always known for food, but there are some nice deals to be had here. Their taco Tuesday nights are popular since board games and happy hour beers are apparently a thing. The Friday deal for $15 inlcudes a burger, fries, and a beer would is very affordable in these times. Thursday nights they activate their projection screen and do a " a retro video game" night with plenty of multiplayer and beer specials. I always look forward to coming here. There is no pretense, plenty of good service, and even more good beer. __________ (#1) ::::coughs:::: me.

It was one of the first on this side of town before everyone and their mom started opening up breweries. The difference is, it has stood the test of time and is still going strong. This location is located in an industrial park close to I-45. There is plenty of parking. It anchors that particular section and is quite large inside. There is plenty of seating and they also have space available for private events. The staff here know their product and offer great advise on what to pick if you are indecisive like me. They have quite a respectable assortment of beers to choose from. They have light beers, malty beers, stouts, IPAs, and seasonal beers. I would suggest a flight if you want to try a few different things. I am not a big IPA guy, but Saloon Door has some that are pretty tasty. My favorites here at their stouts. They are heavy, but easy to sip on. Their stouts have flavor profiles that I love. My all time favorite Saloon Door beer is the Tasty AF. It is a peanut butter and chocolate milk stout. How can you go wrong with that flavor combination. It's like drinking a dessert. Some breweries name their beers with flavors but don't deliver on said flavor. Here, their beers are true to their names. Don't sleep on their other offering though! As far as food, they have rotating food trucks that you can order from. This location was my introduction to Saloon Door, but they did open their second location closer to my home. I would still without a doubt come back to this location if in the area though!

I ordered the Nobi dog, Nobi egg sandwich, and the bittersweet sundae. I was initially hesitant to order the Nobi dog, but my doubts were immediately quelled with the first bite. The Nobi dog was a standout item with the perfect balance of flavors and textures. The savory Kosher beef frank is complimented by the sweet and salty chargrilled pork, pickled carrots and daikon, and spicy sriracha mayo and jalapenos. The crunchy pickled vegetables and creamy mayo stand out against the tender pork and beef frank. I would definitely reorder the Nobi dog at a future visit. Unfortunately, the Nobi egg sandwich was only mediocre and left and impression no more than the simply the sum of its parts. The chargrilled pork was flavorful and egg had a pleasant fluffy texture, but the sandwich as a whole tasted rather boring and uninteresting, especially compared to the Nobi dog. The bittersweet sundae was a stout brownie with vanilla gelato, covered in whipped cream and was the lowest point of this meal, and I would recommend against ordering it. In my opinion, there was entirely too much whipped cream, which was foamy and runny and had a metallic off-note, perhaps from the can it likely came from. After digging through the mountain of whipped cream, I was further disappointed by the texture of the brownie, which had an unpleasant eggy taste and texture. The vanilla gelato was only okay, and did little to salvage this disappointing dessert. Despite its shortcomings, Nobi's service was excellent and attentive. Even on a crowded Tuesday dinner, our waiter frequently checked in on our party. The restaurant is fairly spacious and can accommodate large (8+ people) parties, however it may be a challenge if you plan to visit on a Tuesday night. Overall I would return to Nobi's, specifically for the Nobi dog or the amazing $10 pork chop deal and to explore their wide selection of beers. Aside from that, I would be willing to try other items, but I definitely would not reorder the Nobi egg sandwich nor the bittersweet sundae.

They have mastered all aspects of a quality establishment: excellent execution and service by the staff, solid output of food, a clean and inviting ambiance for all groups, and at decent prices for a casual meal or even a date. The vibe is modern and contemporary, which makes this place both casual and date friendly. There is just enough seating options (indoor and outdoor) to feel spacious, yet also intimate at the same time. The bar offers a nice view of the open kitchen, and a small TV. Love the framed art pieces and the uber clean restrooms. While their woodfired oven cooked pizzas don't resemble anything from NY, they still manage to stand out on their own. The margherita looks the part, which is thankfully nothing like the nearby competition. The elote crema is a fun spin, the busy bee is a hearty option, and the banhmizza shouldn't work yet they've managed to pull it off. The consistency has been an issue in the past, with some that feel overly doughy, feature a less than cooked undercarriage, or an overly charred bubbly edge. Thankfully it hasn't deterred my visits in the slightest. Where there are pizzas, there are pastas and they are just as popular. The brie alfredo is a colorful and indulgent option, as is the 5 cheese mac with crunchy quinoa on top. Their totally baked bolognese is very tasty, but the short rib ragu has been the go-to dish overall. I would be remiss if I didn't mention their cocktails, which are simple but quite nice. The root beer old fashioned is potent and sweet, while the girlfriend is a nice blend of gin and elderflower liqueur with floral additions such as rosewater, hibiscus, finished with lemon and egg white. The lychee sour is also an easy one to love, while sweet tooths might love the bedrock cocktail and it's fruity pebbles infused vodka. Lastly, the staff is very on it from all aspects of service. I admire how professional they've been with every meal and give major kudos to the Asian ownership for a job well done. This is an excellent spot. ___________ (#1) Queens.

They have plenty of unique options for pizza which I really look forward to trying them all. They also have some other unique menu items too. If I lived closer here, I'd definitely be visiting more often. We had the pickle pizza with pepperoni added on it as well as the totally baked Bolognese. Everything comes out hot and fresh, and the pizza is always as good as I remember it. I had the Bolognese for the first time this visit and it was delicious. A little on the heavy side but it's meaty and creamy with the cheese. Their house-made ranch is something else, I'm more of a bleu cheese guy but my girlfriend likes ranch better so we got that but I gotta say that ranch is reallyyyy good so I'd recommend trying that with your pizza too. Service is fast, you can choose to sit anywhere when you walk in. They get to you fairly quickly. I forget everything else I had in the past, but the service and food never disappoint!

Service each time has been fast, and consistent. All of the staff we have worked with knew the menu, and had great suggestions. They also frequently checked in on us and we didn't wait too long for anything. The most recent visit had Brad working with us, and he did a great job. Food wise, Gouda Mushroom Burger is fantastic every time. A great mix of flavors, and a hefty burger, you will not be disappointed. Every time we have come here, someone gets it. The fries are also well seasoned and tasty. Highly recommend. I ordered the Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken. This was absolutely fantastic. Served over a bed of sauteed serrano slaw (which was amazing, I usually don't like slaw), this delightful concoction was stuffed with cream cheese spinach artichoke and cream cheese with a balsamic glaze over the top. It comes with very good mashed potatoes. I don't like most restaurants potatoes, so that's a bonus win. Really enjoyed, would get it again. The beer! They have a really good menu that rotates. They have local craft brews, in addition to your standard domestics. They also have ciders for those that don't fancy a beer. Our last visit I had a Belgian Tripel, and a Pumpkin Stout. Delish! A great spot for a lunch or chill dinner. Plenty of tv space for games. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Getting to this area from Pearland is much easier than heading into Houston so I was more than happy to come here. I've been here a couple of times and the most recent visit brought me and a party bus full of friends here on a Saturday night. The place gets busy but parking hasn't been an issue on any of my visits. It's a narrow bar that may seem tight, but it keeps going towards the back with more seating as well as a spacious patio. Customer service is always great and the bartenders know their stuff here. They have a pretty extensive drink menu here and there is something for everyone's preferences. They have a long list of cocktails and they can make you anything you want as well. The staff are experts here. They also have an impressive bourbon collections with about 200 kinds to choose from. Along with their cocktails, they have a long list of martinis. I love a good martini and here they have so many options. You can't go wrong with my favorite espresso martini, but the one that wowed me here was the Cucumber Patch. Cucumber flavor profile is not typically something I seek out, but I was in the mood for something refreshing and this was suggested to me. Get it and thank me later. As far as food goes, they have a separate BBQ business on site that sells some food. Don't sleep on the Bay Area if you are looking for a nice cocktail.
