El Jalisco Fajitas

If you're in Panama City, FL, and craving some solid Mexican food, this spot is definitely worth checking out! The food is tasty--while it might not blow you away with WOW so AMAZING flavors, it's still one of the best Mexican options around here. The service is always friendly and efficient, which makes it my go-to for satisfying Mexican food. Oh, and their happy hour? Definitely a highlight, offering great deals to make your meal even more enjoyable. Whether you're a local or just visiting, it's a solid choice for a casual, flavorful meal!

Came for the first time and was very happy with the food quality, taste and service. As Mexican native, I can confirm the flavor is authentic and the portions are big. So far it's my top choice of Mexican restaurants in the area!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant i have been to in Panama City. They have great drinks and they always have drink specials. Their fajita meat quality seems to have declined over the years other than that i feel like they are one of the better places to get Mexican around town. Tastiest salsa and you can always expect to get a decent meal here. I definitely would recommend the table side guacamole!

We tried this restaurant for the first time for dinner. The place is nice and big from the inside. The servers were wearing masks. We started with the chips and fresh guacamole dip. They make the dip right in front of you with all the fresh ingredients! (Avocados, onions, tomatoes, etc). It tasted great. Then I tried their Mexican lasagna, which was something new and different for me! I really liked it. The food portions are big and I couldn't finish my Mexican lasagna. It comes with fried tortillas, beef, and cheese. See photo below! Hubby ordered the three amigos, which comes with shrimp, chicken, steak, and some rice and beans. That was delicious too. The only thing they can improve on is their drinks. We didn't go for buy 1, get 1 free margaritas. Instead we tried their Mariritas (those are made with Don Julio tequila) but for the price ($16), you don't get much. Our glasses weren't even full with the drinks. They need to be more generous with those drinks. I won't order those again as it was a disappointment. Usually Mexican restaurants are known for their drinks especially margaritas. Other than that, the service was good and you should check out this restaurant the next time you are in mood for some authentic Mexican food!

Very good place to eat. Friendly atmosphere. Easy access and a speedy waitress. Friendly for birthday parties.

Birria tacos, margarita flight(watermelon, peach, lime) chips and salsa(complimentary)

Nothing bad to say about this place other than I couldn't switch up my street taco order to get different kinds of meat and they don't have a la cart Al pastor tacos! I was super excited to find a place that had birria tacos. As soon as they brought the chips and salsa I knew this place would be good! Salsa is spicy, but good spicy, chips are fresh. They have margarita flights! (When I got mine they were a bit watered down) I got watermelon, lime & peach) I got the birria tacos lunch special. Sooo good!! Beans are good, rice is good, tastes like they put lime in it. HIGHLY recommend.

Very yummy and refreshing. Food: Steak Tacos, Carnitas Nachos and El Pollo Tacos, Queso and Chips Steak taco was a little bit chewy but the flavor was very good. The El Pollo Taco had great flavor and our friend who was eating this taco loves hot stuff so the owner brought over some hot sauce that they make in house and said friend said it was wonderful....I tried just an itty bitty taste and my mouth was burning...eeeeek!! My favorite was the carnitas nachos....so flavorful and I loved the pickled onions and black beans on the nachos. Queso was nice and thick and had a little kick to it. Chips came out warm and plenty in the basket for sharing. We ordered their Street Corn and Chips and ate that when we got back home and it was my all time favorite. Perfection!! I would drive over to their restaurant just to order the Street Corn and Chips to go. We will be back and we recommend 100PC!!

Guadalajara Mexican Grill Panama City Beach, FL…read more So I'm out here grinding all week in Panama City Beach, working like I'm trying to earn Employee of the Year for a company that doesn't even give out awards and then BOOM I stumble into Guadalajara Mexican Grill. Let me tell you something I wasn't ready. First off, they hit you with chips and salsa like it's a personal challenge. I'm talking refill after refill at one point I stopped eating them not because I was full but because I felt like I was disrespecting my main course. Them chips were putting up MVP numbers. Then the food comes out... The nachos? Looked like they called a team meeting in the kitchen and said, "Let's melt ALL the cheese we got and just figure it out later." Steak piled on like it owed somebody money. Every chip fighting for its life under that blanket of cheese. Then somebody at the table orders fries with ground beef and cheese hold on WHO approved this masterpiece?? This is the kind of dish you eat and immediately start questioning your life choices but you keep going anyway because it's too good to stop. Zero regrets. Maybe a little shame but zero regrets. Now the fajitas They came out sizzling like they had something to prove. Chicken, steak, shrimp EVERYBODY showed up. Peppers and onions dancing like it's a Friday night in Miami. The smell alone had me ready to stand up and clap. And then... the grand finale A steak with shrimp on top, sitting there like it just closed a real estate deal. Perfectly cooked, juicy, shrimp seasoned like they got a passport. That plate didn't come to play it came to dominate. Sides? Rice, beans, guac, sour cream basically a full supporting cast that deserved their own spin-off show. By the end of the meal, I'm sitting there leaning back, shirt slightly tighter, questioning if I can make it back to work tomorrow or if I need to call out due to fajita overload. Final verdict: If you're in Panama City Beach working hard like me or even if you're just on vacation pretending you don't have responsibilities GO HERE. Come hungry. Leave full. Possibly need a nap. Would I go back? Let's just say I'm already planning my next work trip around it
