Very yummy and refreshing. Food: Steak Tacos, Carnitas Nachos and El Pollo Tacos, Queso and Chips Steak taco was a little bit chewy but the flavor was very good. The El Pollo Taco had great flavor and our friend who was eating this taco loves hot stuff so the owner brought over some hot sauce that they make in house and said friend said it was wonderful....I tried just an itty bitty taste and my mouth was burning...eeeeek!! My favorite was the carnitas nachos....so flavorful and I loved the pickled onions and black beans on the nachos. Queso was nice and thick and had a little kick to it. Chips came out warm and plenty in the basket for sharing. We ordered their Street Corn and Chips and ate that when we got back home and it was my all time favorite. Perfection!! I would drive over to their restaurant just to order the Street Corn and Chips to go. We will be back and we recommend 100PC!!

It wasn't busy enough to justify that wait time, there were maybe 6 other tables already seated - so hardly a rush. The biggest complaint though is the quality of food and portion size. I ordered 3 quesabirria tacos at $5.50 each, and they came looking like a child's portion. I realize margins in restaurants can be tight to be profitable, but that's greed and inexcusable. I might not have been so upset by it if the quality and taste had been better, but this is like cafeteria food quality at best. The consume was watered down, and lukewarm. The horchata was just as weak and watered down. How anybody can come here and be impressed by the food or the service blows my mind. I've not left a restaurant feeling like i just got ripped off for a long time, but this left me feeling annoyed at how I just got scammed by a greedy business that is only interested in profits and not serving quality food with fair portions. My family and I will certainly not be back, and if you're trying to decide whether to try this place out by reading reviews, do yourselves and favor and listen to the frequent comments where people say the same thing.

What I liked most about Diego's is that it feels like a true local taco shop. You order at the counter, they give you a number, you find a seat, and they bring the food out to you.
