If you are craving Mexican food in Hinckley, this is the place to go. The food was pretty good,…read morebut not great. Tacos needed more flavor as well as the chimichangas. The chips were good, salsa was bland, but fresh. The service was quite slow and all staff disappeared for a while, making it difficult to pay our bill when we were ready. Anyhow on to the review: Before I even begin I should announce this PSA, Pinebrook is incredibly busy, with 2-4 hour waits on weekends. Expect to make reservations and wait up to 45 minutes for food to come out, it's well worth the wait. Have eaten here countless times with family and friends, I have never been disappointed coming here! Food is always fresh and amazing! The sticky burgers are fantastic! Serloin is AMAZING! Pizza is great too. And the occasional seafood.. especially the lobster and pistachio crusted mahi mahi with white wine cream sauce (yes you heard that right) are all to die for. Genuinely one of my favourite restaurants with amazing steaks and seafood! Better than most places in the twin cities!!! Very casual atmosphere and everything from burgers to upscale seafood and steak! And don't even get me started on the price.... $19.99 for a 8 oz Serloin, side, and salad?!? Amazing! If you're in the area stop by play some pinball, and eat some good food. Don't forget the reservations. Thank me later.

Our server was very friendly and brought our food out quickly. My kids liked their cheeseburgers. I got the Lumberjack burger which had bacon and pulled pork on it. I got it with pink in the middle and it was really good! The burger was flavorful and juicy. The tater tots were yummy too. Nice and crispy on the outside with a good amount of seasoning. My husband liked his BLT with waffle fries. Our whole lunch came to $51 (we didn't get any alcohol), which feels like a good deal. I'm happy to have one more good place to eat to stop in on our way to and from our cabin.
