If you're looking for a great happy hour, this is definitely the spot! You get a lot for your money…read morewith both the food and drink specials. We stopped by around 3 p.m. on a Wednesday and sat at the bar. It wasn't too busy, which made for a relaxing experience. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. For food, we ordered the fish ceviche, taquitos dorados, and the birria tacos. They definitely don't skimp on the portions. Everything is generously sized and perfect for sharing. I especially loved the salsa that came with the taquitos dorados, and the birria was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The birria tacos and taquito dorados were easily my favorite and something I'd absolutely order again. Of course, I had to try a few of their margaritas! I sampled the Classic Felipe, Jamaica, and Guava margaritas. The guava margarita was hands down my favorite. Overall, it's a great spot with delicious food, refreshing drinks, generous portions, and excellent happy hour deals. Be sure to check out their happy hour menu, you won't be disappointed!

Portions are not skimp at all and prices were reasonable! My favorite was the shrimp ceviche. I hate to brag, but my ceviche is the best. And tbh, Felipe's is almost as good as mine! Hehehe. Very fresh ingredients with generous portion of shrimp. This was my favorite item we ordered! Tacolgado were mini quesabirria tacos that was perfectly sized to share. This was really good! Then we also ordered the chicken flautas that was really good! The chicken breast was perfectly seasoned and moist but the fried tortilla was not soggy at all. This was so good! The kids enjoyed this the most. Especially the cotija !! So so good. Wednesdays are 50% off their margaritas which I wasn't able to try but next time, I will! The ladies next to us ordered a few and I overheard how they were all good! The restaurant is family friendly, clean and decor was very cute! Service was very attentive and the servers were very quick. We enjoyed our 1st time and definitely plan to come back!

What I appreciate about the seating is that when I ask if I can sit apart from the crowd, it's never a problem. They don't assign one server to one area, so drink order, food order, service in general has always felt efficient. Benjamin has been helpful in learning the menu. When it wasn't busy, he actually sat and walked through some of the dishes with me, so now I feel like I know the choices so much better. That was amazing and reminiscent of high end private dining spots. This visit, I just had a margarita and a chicken burrito. I figured I would take half home, but the burrito was so good I actually ate it all! And the margarita was delish too. Not too strong, actually a great cocktail that was nice to sip. The vibe of the restaurant is casual Mexican. It feels a bit like my Tia is in the kitchen and my prima is serving. They have that nice comfortable vibe. Parking is a cinch. I've got nothing but great to say about La Tablita. Easy parking, quick seating, fast service, yummy drinks, and fantastic food, all delivered by delightful staff. No regrets here.

It does get full so reservations is the way to go. Good beer, cocktail, marg, taquila menu. Got the Viaje beer which was a stronger tasting lager. 1. Chips salsa Guac - good small spice in the dips. Not too much salt on the chips. Good quality 2. Street corn - definitely comfort food as listed and it was flavorful and comes out hot on a skillet 3. Shrimp tacos - 3 shrimp in each taco. I like that it comes simple with the chipotle aioli on the side and beans rice avocado on the side. Good flavor and not too salty again. Overall a great dinner and if I lived in the area, I would be back easily!
