I am not sure if they usually use fresh corn, and ran out, but the corn was clearly from a can with an overwhelmingly canned taste and the guac was very tart/ sour. When asked, the servers were very nice, and assured us it was fresh corn. Being from Jersey access to some of the best corn, I can whole heartedly say this was not the case for our dish. This is a great menu option! and I hope they take the feedback to ensure it is fresh every time, or be transparent if they are out of corn/what they are using. I know many people do not care at all, and it's become typical for restaurants to used canned corn. This dish was also an appetizer and came out very late, I wish they had just removed it from our bill after the long wait/ all 3 of us agreeing the flavor was very off. The red was very good, I was expecting heat but it was smokey. As for the flautas, there was four in an order, I think. They were very crispy, topped with lettuce and cotija. It's reasonable priced.
