Delicious as always, excellent customer service available seating, comfy atmosphere. Staff is always willing to help with the menu selection items . They have an outdoor seating area. It's a BYOB.

Stop by after visiting the winery in the area. It was a beautiful night so we sat outside to enjoy the weather. Food was fresh and delicious my son really enjoyed everything.

Another fabulous meal. This time we day outside for a very pleasant evening. I had the cauliflower stir fry with shrimp over tacu tacu (Peruvian beans and rice fried together). I had a Jamaica (hibiscus tea) that was fabulous.

This place is delightful! I have been here several times and have always had a great experience. The drinks are fresh & such a special treat. The dishes are flavor packed and incredibly fresh! The service is quick & everyone is very nice. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Can't wait to come back to try more items on the menu.

This has got to be one of the best restaurants I've ever ate at! This Peruvian-Mexican establishment is a must eat location! One of the best Lomo's you can get in NJ and beyond. They sure know how to cook it right I tell ya! we were greeted by a friendly and wonderful waitress and had a choice to sit inside or outside which was nice. The restaurant is very spacious and can accommodate large families. They had some interesting specials. The fresh pico was out of this world! I need it jarred and then a jar! the ceviche was fresh and succulent. Everything was really really good. Prices are fair for the times. Portions were big! Didn't end up needing the sampler of empanadas. None were bad but chicken or beef is the way to go if your diet tolerates it. Oh actually! The chorizo was bomb! But it's not their star. The Lomo Saltaldo is by far worth a drive from New York ! Pin El Tule on your map, it's certainly a 5/5 don't believe that 4.3 nonsense ; this place is gonna change your life! That's how you know it's good cause there's definitely some haters in these ratings! Enjoy!

What a find! Peruvian all day please! Really enjoyed this restaurant within spitting distance from New Hope, PA. Right over the bridge you will find this restaurant that has great ambiance within their outdoor seating with Mexican and Peruvian decorations throughout. Mofongo - Mofongo is a dish from Puerto Rico with plantains as its main ingredient. Plantains are picked green, cut into pieces and typically fried but can be boiled or roasted, then mashed with salt, garlic, broth, and olive oil in a wooden pilón. I loved this side order, which was the best comfort food ever, right up there with cornbread in my book. Highly recommend. Chicha Morada - Exotic drink made of purple Peruvian corn! This drink had a flavor of hickory smoked cherry black cola I would describe and was unlike anything I had before. I really enjoyed this drink and highly recommend on a hot day. Chicken Empanada - We had ours made gluten free and this came out very hot. We put some of our elote and guac app in the empanda to add some flavor. This item was good but with so many different offerings here next time I would choose something else. This place was fairly busy at around 3pm on Sunday so if you plan on coming, I recommend either making reservations or not going at peak times unless you do not mind waiting. We were lucky enough that we did not have to wait to be seated but the staff looked very busy so if you can come at an off time prob would not be a bad move. Really happy with this find and would come back in a heart beat! As always people SYOY!!!

We will absolutely be back, many times. We all took bites of each others food and couldn't stop saying "mmm!". The tops were probably the skirt steak, birria tacos, ceviche chifa but everything was so delicious. It was a a busy Saturday night on a beautiful day. The kitchen was busy so a little bit of a wait but very much worth it.

My plate of grilled flounder, Yuca Fries, Crillo sauce, salad, and pickled onion.

Just finished an amazing lunch at El Tule, a Peruvian-Mexican Restaurant in Lamberville NJ. I give this restaurant an A plus. Excellent fresh food and a very friendly staff. It is a family-owned restaurant and they go above and beyond with their menu and their service. I had the El Costenito Plate with delicious grilled Flounder, Yuca Fries with a cold criolla pepper sauce to dip the Yuca fries in (both Yummy)with a nice side salad with lettuce and Avocado, lightly dressed with a tasty light white dressing. I shared a homemade flan with my husband. Just heavenly. It is homemade by the mother who originally with her husband opened the restaurant now the next generation run it and often serve as servers or cooks. The restaurant is cutely decorated and has both indoor and outdoor seating. I think this is my favorite local restaurant.

You can tell Daniel (the owner) actually cares about how everything runs. The place is clean, organized, and everything flows smoothly without feeling rushed. And Christina... she's seriously the best. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and actually helps guide you through the menu. She was on point with the specials and made great recommendations. We even got into a conversation about her trip to Peru, which was a really cool touch it felt natural, not forced, and made the whole experience better. We started with the Leche de Tigre, and it was a perfect opener, fresh, citrusy, and packed with flavor. You get that brightness from the lime with just the right kick, plus the calamari added a nice texture. We also tried one of the specials, the causa, which was light but still full of flavor and a great way to start. For the mains, we went all in. The Cowboy Steak (18 oz bone-in ribeye) was easily the highlight, cooked right, super flavorful, and paired with the huancaína risotto and that huacatay butter... yeah, that combo is no joke. We also had the pollo a la brasa (special, marinated 24 hours), and you can tell it was super juicy, well-seasoned, and done right. We also had the pasta con mariscos, and this one deserves its own mention. Homemade pasta with shrimp, calamari, and mussels in a chupe-style tomato broth rich, flavorful, and comforting without feeling too heavy. Definitely one of those dishes you keep going back to. And I'm not even exaggerating... the table bread with the butter? We were eating like it was part of the main course. That butter is ridiculously good. Dessert sealed it. The lava cake with lucuma ice cream was warm, rich, and balanced out perfectly by the ice cream. We also tried the house-made guanábana sorbet, which was light, refreshing, and the perfect way to finish after a heavy meal. The vibe is what really ties it all together. It's casual enough to hang out with friends and talk, but still nice enough for a date night or bringing family. It doesn't try too hard, and that's exactly why it works. Overall, everything just clicked: food, service, atmosphere. No weak spots. Definitely coming back. This version is clean, structured, and reads like someone who actually understands what they're talking about, not just listing food.

Out of all of them, this location has honestly been the one we've enjoyed the most and the one we keep coming back to. That said, over the past year or two, I do feel the food quality has declined a bit. I recently ordered the lomo saltado (the lower-priced option), and while the meat was flavorful and savory, there was a little too much broth, which made the fries and rice soggy. My husband ordered the tacu tacu with steak, but it felt like there were barely any beans in it. For the kids, we ordered salchipapa. They enjoyed it, but I was expecting the hot dogs to have a little more crisp instead of being soft. What keeps us coming back is the experience here. The restaurant is always clean, organized, and has a really nice ambiance. The staff is attentive, service is quick, and we rarely have to wait or follow up on anything. Their ají verde is still really good too. Overall, I'd say 3.5 stars for the food, but 4 stars for service, ambiance, and overall experience. I really hope the food quality improves because this location has been one of our favorites.
