Food and service was very quick, Flautas were slightly over fried but it did not effect the flavor too much. The Agua de Piña was delicious. Looks like they add Chia Seeds to it. The seeds gave the drink a different feeling that I enjoy! Didn't seem too busy around lunch time. I would come again for a quick bite!

I'm glad the owners of the El Gallito taco truck finally opened a restaurant. The best part is that I live less than a 5 minute drive from the shopping center where the taqueria is located! The best $1 tacos you'll find in High Point! I haven't tried much of the menu because of how cheap and delicious the tacos are. El Gallito cook up some of the best lengua(tongue) tacos in the triad! Always cooked perfectly. Definitely try from this place if you've never have them. The chorizo taco is another favorite of mine. It's freshly made unlike a few spots that use store bought chorizo. The shrimp taco is pretty good also and only 50 cents more than the other meats. The chicken and steak tacos is always a favorite for my friends. There's so many places that overcook the chicken and steak to the point that it's dry and you have to drown it in salsa and lime juice. Not Gallito! Juicy and finely chopped. You can't go wrong with any choices.

This place has true, authentic Mexican Food. I've gone to a lot of places where they don't make the food the way it should be, but this place hit the spot with all the dishes we ordered. The Agua de Horchata is one of the best I've tried, and has a sweet, natural flavor to it. The service was also really good, and they made sure we got everything we needed.

If you're not Mexican don't bother $11 for a Coke and a burrito she handed me the Coke with no way to open it All the beans leaked out of my box into the bag needless to say I won't be going back And one napkin for this gigantic mess. I changed my review to one star once diving into the burrito the meat was a gelatinous stuck together piece of gristle and I paid $11 for it so basically I got a vegetable burrito for $11 so sad right now

Only one person working the front during lunch. Sitting her for 30 minutes still no food, while they play with the music obscenely loud.

My wife and I went with a friend of the family and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant…read more The vibe felt very much like a chain restaurant vibe, but the food tasted authentic. The restaurant itself was really clean despite the lunch rush just having gone through. So we were really impressed with the tables being kept up after the lunch rush and the chairs were comfortable as well. The prices are fair especially with how good the food is. Even our family friend who is notoriously picky was impressed by the food. One downside was that it was difficult to understand the lady behind the counter however we were able to order by pointing to what we wanted. One of the meals we got we aren't sure exactly what it was, as we pointed to something someone else had gotten. Our friend got the chicken quesadilla and she said it was really good. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the guacamole. It was a bit thin and bland. We went based on a recommendation of a coworker who said they had three tacos for $9.99 as part of a meal and they said they were so good and it was a really great value which is why we went there. We definitely weren't disappointed and plan on returning.

Typically, I would never leave a negative review without ensuring that I tried to place a couple…read moremore times to prevent vocalizing bad experience when it could've been a one off. With what I learned, I just can't see myself going back and anybody who has Alpha-Gal syndrome, you may want to really think twice about what you ordered here. I ordered a vegetarian combo meal and got the food, I ate it and about a half hour later I was on the toilet, and it was not a fun night. I called the restaurant the next day because I've had this happen to me before, although with this place, I ordered through GrubHub so I wasn't able to ask questions, but you assume when something is listed as vegetarian that it actually is. Anyway, the refried beans are sometimes fried and vegetable oil, sometimes fried and lard. The day that I ordered mine, well all week they had been fried and lard which makes them not vegetarian. When you stop consuming those types of animal byproducts your stomach doesn't know how to digest them so I had this food and my body immediately was like what's going on and sure enough trying to reject it. Somebody who has Alpha Gal syndrome like I mentioned earlier can get super sick from this, like it could have serious detrimental effect on them.

We always get cheese enchiladas ordered this way and unfortunately the restaurant didn't see the request and we got beef. The driest beef enchiladas I have ever tasted. All that was inside was beef in a tortilla with sauce on top. Even if my vegetarian guests did not get to eat their meals, they weren't missing anything. I would Never order these from here again.

Pancho Villas is the epitome of consistent Mexican food here in the Triad. This is our go to spot…read morefor Mexican as it is always a positive experience. The service is good as the staff is friendly and prompt on checking on you or refilling your chips and salsa. Ambiance is friendly although it was a bit cold the day we went so we left our jackets on throughout dinner. Business there is typically steady so if you go at a peak time there may be a wait. We went at 5:30 on a Friday and got right in but by the time we left around 7, the wait was a few people deep. The food is always good and portions are large. As with most Mexican places, they start you off with chips and salsa. The chips do not have salt on them so you may need to add it if you enjoy a salted chip. The salsa is good and not very spicy although my wife who doesn't do spice said it was a little much for her. I had the Cocina plate which is chicken, shrimp, and steak with onions, peppers, mushrooms, and cheese sauce over rice. This is my go to as it's delicious and always hits the spot. My wife had a fajita quesadilla that was overflowing with meat and veggies and she really enjoyed. We tried some of their Paloma drinks this last time which were very strong but had good flavor.

I also love the chicken soup on cold days. It's the best around. The restaurant is always clean and they recently updated the back dining area.
