Chicken Torta 10.28.2020 Now, this is delicious! Didn't get cheese on it. Extra onions, poblanos, and cilantro.

This place is near my job and is still a go-to when hungry for lunch. The prices have increased dramatically and I feel like it's because they are in a food dessert area, they know people in the area really have no other choices for hot food. Service is mostly friendly and the food is made as ordered, so be prepared to wait about 15 minutes. This is a drive-thru. No eating inside or outside. Recently, I started ordering their hotdogs that have bacon, mayo, ketchup, and mustard on it. Who knew that adding mayo would take a hotdog to the next level. I didn't, but now I know!

This place is so unassuming but so delicious. Can't believe this was my first time here! The prices are hard to beat, and the portions are huge. The food is fresh, well seasoned, and comforting! It's definitely a "hole in the wall" but as we know, those are the best kinds of places. The menu is fairly basic, but everything from tortas to tacos. You gotta check it out!

I ordered chicken tacos on corn tortilla, and chicken quesadillas. (Not shown) Service was good. Food was fresh. I liked it.

This new little drive-thru only place serves tacos, quesadillas, wings, tenders, tortas, fries and sodas. The tacos have steak, shredded chicken or adobada for the meats. The menu is geared more toward American tastes than authentic Mexican. I had a chicken torta and some habanero wings. The chicken torta was shredded chicken, cheese, grilled onions and jalapeno strips. The bun was thick and tasted great. The chicken was seasoned well but it was pretty dry and tough. It was a really big sandwich though, and a good deal at $5. This isn't what I think of when I want a torta, it was more like a chicken Philly sandwich with a Latin twist. It came with a side of salsa verde that was ok but nothing special, probably canned. The wings could have been very good but wound up being disappointing. They were a good size, fried perfectly and juicy inside. But they just poured a pretty tame bottled mango habanero sauce over them that tasted nothing like mango nor habanero. Since they didn't toss the wings in the sauce, some of them didn't even have sauce on them. I wouldn't order them again. They were $6 for 7 decent size wings. I might come back thru to try the adobada tacos if I'm out that way and hungry, but I wouldn't go out the way or come back on purpose.

Update for our 2026 annual visit:…read more We ate in this year and the service and ambiance matched the quality of the food we had last year. I have been looking forward to the World Ninja Championships so that I can eat here again and the team did not disappoint. I had the special, chilaquiles supreme and YES! Flank steak butterflied and so tender that I cut through it easily with a butter knife. They make the chips fresh for each order of chilaquiles and you can taste it. Generous amounts of every flavor that went into the meal and I left stuffed! Hands down, my favorite place and I have a feeling we are making a second trip here this year for sure! First impression as you walk in, or look at images of the menu: AUTHENTIC! First impressions when you bite into your food: They nailed the first impression! I had the lingua, tripa, pez, and Pastor tacos. My family had the California burrito, chicken and beef tacos, and the Enchiladas Mexicanos with mole and salsa verde. We also added a side of guac and chips. Guac: thin mixed avocado and perfectly sized chunks mixed in with the tomato and seasonings. An absolute must! The 4 tacos I ate were succulent to say the least. The tripa was thin and crispy, but you could taste the rendered fat in them. It had the texture of perfectly cooked bacon. Al pastor is one of my favorites and this one did not disappoint. Then there was the pez taco that was just the right amount of crispy without being an iota overcooked. At last I ate the lingua taco. It melted in my mouth and I immediately wanted another. I don't even like mole sauce, but I couldn't stop eating the mole enchilada. Aces, hands down. The California burrito was phenomenal and had the perfect amount of each ingredient and a delectable amount of heat and sweet cream sauce. The chicken was obviously hand shredded and had equal amounts of larger chunks of meat and thin pulled pieces to soak up all the flavor in endless nooks and crannies. If you have not been here please do your palate a flavor and stop in. The value far exceeded the price of our meals and we plan on coming here every year when the World Ninia finals rome to town

We brought a whole group to Kiosco for lunch, and had called ahead to have patio seating. I love that there's indoor and patio seating, so there's something for everyone. Even with our large group size, the service was prompt and continuous. The patio seating had nice metal tables, and umbrellas for the tables to shade the sun. There happened to be a nice breeze that day also, so the outdoor seating was perfect for our group. For lunch, I had the burrito gordo, and gordo it was. I don't think I've seen a larger burrito from a sit-down restaurant. All of the fillings of the burrito were cooked very well, and the seasonings were on point. I don't know why I tried to eat all of it in one sitting, but I did and surprisingly didn't live to regret it. This place is great for parties of 1, 10, or more. Met up with a friend to grab lunch today, and had another great experience. Surprisingly, especially for a Friday, we were the only people there for lunch another small party arrived toward the end of our meal. The hostess/waitress was very friendly and attentive, checking on us, keeping chips, salsa and drinks topped off. I got the lunch ACP, which was quick to come out, and a first for me, it was served with choice of corn or flour tortillas...I opted for flour. The food tasted great, and portion size was perfect, honestly, probably a little more than I should have eaten for lunch, but it will tide me over until dinner. Definitely worth checking out. This spot has an amazing bright and vibrant atmosphere, beautifully decorated with bright colors, a much different look inside then out. I'm sure I'll be back again soon, good food, great, and quick service!

True to its namesake, there are brightly colored folk art designs throughout the restaurant in line with their Mexican heritage. The trees that make it look overgrown from the outside actually serve to allow sunlight while masking the surrounding city, facilitating the transformation that makes you feel like you're in Mexico City. We came at an off-peak time in the afternoon and it was nearly empty. We were seated immediately and the service was prompt and attentive. I was pleased to see some unique menu offerings like Birra Ramen and Sopes that deviate from the standard American-friendly fare in most places. Drinks were good - we had a regular house margarita, a triple berry margarita, and a jalapeño cucumber margarita. All were tasty and I would order again. I tried to order a Mezcalita, since it's not often I see a Mezcal option, but they were out of that particular liquor. We tried to get street corn as an appetizer, which they were also out of. We got cheese and salsa with chips instead. The chips were hot and fresh, the salsa generous with the cilantro, and the cheese bold and warm. For entrees we had the Al Pastor Quesadilla and the Birra Ramen. The quesadilla was good, though the beans on the side were pretty bland. The ramen was a unique and very tasty option, and I was not able to finish such a generous portion. I think I'd leave the cheese out next time since it made some weird textures, but the flavor was great overall. Overall, there are some small things to improve (having menu items in stock, bland beans) and the prices were a bit high, but we had a great experience overall. I'm not often in the area, but I'll certainly eat here again if I am!

I ended up placing a to-go order off of GrubHub so I have no idea how the service was or how the ambience was so I will have to get back to you on that, but I can tell you that the Quesabirria pizza with that consomme' is chef's kiss. The delivery was quite fast so the food was still fresh. They absolutely stuffed it with meat, cheese and the consumme' was perfect. It's like they skimmed the fat off the top of it so it's not too fatty and it came with Green salsa and red salsa. I ordered a side of sour cream which I absolutely did not need and wish I would have ordered queso but I'll have to do that next time. There was music playing in the background. It was a at a good volume to not have to yell in conversation. I've ordered the birria tacos for delivery but this was my first dine-in experience here. My friend ordered the birria tacos and I decided on the ACP - chicken & steak. They place the queso on the side in a cup. They advertised the margaritas and had a special for $5.99 on regular margaritas. They do offer bottled water & other drinks if you prefer other options as well. My chicken had a good flavor and the rice was cooked nicely and not mushy! Maybe some of the best rice I've had in a while at a Mexican restaurant. The steak had good flavor but I would have preferred a juicier bite there. Not quite jerky but drier than I wanted. My friend really enjoyed her tacos and they came out steaming. Parking can be limited, as it is a smaller lot. The service was good and we were checked on often. Overall, I'll be back to try more options and see what weekly specials they have available.

Next time I will add some eggs. Queso was excellent too! Potatoes were a lil boring & no onions like I expected. Cilantro rice could use more flavor & cilantro.
