This is a very small walk up or drive up spot with no inside seating - the entire place is about 50% bigger than the standard outdoor storage shed. I ordered a Beef Burrito ($9.50) and Al Pastors Tacos (3 for $8). The burrito was large (10"tortilla) and very tasty - loaded with flavorful, well seasoned ground beef, cheese and rice - and a small bag of chips with salsa (some nice heat here) included! This is an item I'd order again. The tacos were also very nice - well filled with tasty chorizo, nicely topped with cilantro and onion, with several lime wedges included. These tacos I would order again if in the area. Ambiance - 0 Food - 4 Service -4 Value - 3 (sales tax rung up at 8.75%!!!!!!!!!)

Chicken tacos

Great take out tacos!! We simply wanted tacos for dinner and this looked like a good option. We got the beef and the chicken both very tasty.

I've been passing this little spot for years and finally stop. Great decision. I love me a good ACP. A simple meal for on the go. You get a great sized helping for what you spend. I inhaled 75% of my plate before I took a breath. It was very good!

Ordered nearly every style of food and nearly every kind of protein to do a takeaway family style feast with hubs & a friend so we could try it all. Was surprised at how fast the food came out, and how well it traveled. The street tacos and ACP were my faves, and if I were to be doing this solo the tacos give the most opportunity to try everything. We did request grilled onions instead of raw, and that was better for us.

Great burritos and street tacos. Service is wonderful. Nicer than a crowded restaurant when you want great food.

It's a drive thru and it took over 35 min to get some tacos. I could have sat down at a restaurant, ordered, ate, and paid quicker.

We were part of a larger party of couples, approximately 12-14 people in total. Space was reserved in advance on the covered patio which was ready early for the party and the staff was happy to seat us and get drinks started. Overall the restaurant was very clean as well as the restrooms. The reason for 3-stars is I rate Mexican restaurants on three main dishes which should always be outstanding; Al Pastor, Carnitas, and sizzling Fajitas. If there is a failure with any ONE of these menu items the highest rating I can give is 3-stars! For starters the salsa was bland no taste, no hint of cilantro or spice. Some previous reviews mentioned the chips were thin, I didn't find that to be the case during my visit. They were fresh and warm. The fajitas were great, probably some of the best we've had in years. They were well seasoned and the steak & chicken was very tender. The veggies still had some crunch and weren't overcooked. However, there was no guacamole and a small squirt of sour cream. The rice didn't have any flavor on it, no salt..nothing!, But the beans were nicely seasoned and we were glad the beans didn't have cheese on them. However, we had to request the flour tortillas several times. The Carnitas were tender but had absolutely no flavor or seasoning whatsoever. They were just chunks of fried pork tips in grease, probably fried in vegetable oil not the traditional lard and obviously not with sour orange and seasonings. There wasn't a grilled jalapeño or even any pico de gallo on the side, they were very disappointing. We couldn't find Al Pastor anywhere on the menu. And speaking of the menu it was very large with way too many items. You can't possibly do all of these items justice. I recommend they scale the menu down and do a superb job on the customer "favorites" while offering seasonal items for a limited time.

The portions are decent, the prices are very very good especially considering the economy right now, and the table manners and service has been absolutely phenomenal... even on their busiest days numerous people came by to check up on us and make sure that we didn't need any extra refills, sauces, napkins, etc. That, to me is the hallmark of a place that values its customers and places its attention on the service it provides. We've loved this place so much, we frequently order to go in addition to our sit down meals so that we can have more over the next few days! It's that good. Highly, highly recommend Frida's.

We both had leftovers because we saved room for the Churros aka fried dough Heaven. We placed To Go orders of the Philly Steak Burrito and the Steak California Burrito for our boys. Everything, including the To Go items, were plated beautifully and everything was delicious!!

The tacos, 2 Chorizo & 2 Campechano (4 for $8.99)were more than a little disappointing - both meats were over cooked and dry; the Campechano was a strange mixture and lacked the traditional Chicharrones and the beef, whatever cut it was, was anything but tender and flavorful. The Milanese de Pollo ($11.99) was rather nice ( though there is little in the cutlet that shouts Mexican) but if what I received was 1/2 chicken, it was indeed a very small bird. And the side of beans was all liquid, not a single bean to be found. Would not return here, especially with Tacos Casa Miguel just a bit up the road! Ambiance - 2 Food -2 Service - 4 Value - 2

The menu is not especially broad, about what you'd expect with this type of spot! I ordered the Pozole Rojo and 2 Chorizo Tacos. My order was quickly done, no more than 10 minutes. The tacos were not topped when I got them, the meat was in warm tortillas and the chopped onion, lime, and cilantro were in a separate area. I applied the toppings, added lime juice and some of several salsas completed the item. These are good tacos and there is plenty of chorizo in them. I would order tacos here again if in the area, but it is not a destination spot. The Pozole Rojo was not really good. It was greasy, under seasoned, and had a bitter after taste. Definitely not a reorder item. Ambiance - 2 Food - 3 Service - 4 Value - 3 ( applied to tacos only)
