Live right next to this place so I've tried to love it but I just can't. Breakfast is cheap but lacks in quality. And the lunch dinner menu lacks authentic Cuban flavor. If you are looking for a cheap place this may be for you if you are looking for a great food don't come here. read more

I swear it's cheaper to come here than make the food yourself. And although the media noche sandwich is less than $4, it's still extremely filling. Everything we've had here has been great. My wife and mother-in-law love it and they're Cuban, so you know it's good. My recommendation are the lechon, vaca frita, and the ropa vieja. The sandwiches are great for lunch, and you can't beat their traditional Cuban breakfast options. read more

Great coffee and breakfast items. If you are looking for a quick bite or even a full Cuban style meal this a good place. The restaurant is a no frills authentic Cuban cafe, great for what it is. When I come here I typically order a cafe con leche, beef empanada and croquetas. The stuffing of the beef empanadas is very delicious, it is not over seasoned it is actually seasoned almost perfectly in my opinion. The servers are very nice and welcoming. Croquetas: 80¢ ea. Empanada: 80¢ ea. cafe con leche: 1.25 (small) read more

Best Cuban food! Took some friends recently and the food was out of this world. I didn't think yuca could taste so delicious. If you want good food at a decent price this is the place to go read more

Great breakfast fast service. Fantastic pricing. Fresh orange juice no sugar added. Will definitely visit more often.

This is a small place that is easy to miss, but I love the food here! Portions are humongous. I love the breaded steak, my husband the chicken breast. Always a great meal fast and close by. Definitely recommend giving this place a shot! You won't be disappointed. read more

Only tried the cafe con leche which was good (standard)... I don't think they use leche evaporada (evaporated milk) but maybe that's upon request. I also ordered a Cuban sandwich (Especial)... At the beginning, I wasn't a fan it was ok but the bread was too crunchy... it almost felt like a chip.... later on (I had asked for it to go) I ate some on my way home from Kendall (I live in Broward so you can imagine the traffic) and it was delicious. The bread was no longer crispy and you could taste all the flavors. The price can't be beat either. I would def go back if in the area. read more

Found this place on a whim about two years ago and now frequent probably at least once a week. Cheap food and great quality. Sometimes the service is a little slow but the food comes out fast and always tastes great. If you want faster service, sit at the counter but either way, this place is great. read more

El Dos Ruedas - Cuban Near Me - Miami, Florida

Tiny Cuban cafeteria that caters to the blue collar workers in the area. However, don't think that makes it crappy food. In fact, it is simple, home-style food that is also sold by the pound for people to take. It is located in a warehouse type of shopping center that might look rough, especially compared to the shopping center across the street which includes a Publix. The food is very cheap compared to other Cuban restaurants for the same quality food. The food is fresh and the service is decent. Since the place is small, there are few tables and it is first come, first serve. During the busier times, you may have to sit at a table that has not been cleaned from the previous customer just to make sure nobody jumps ahead and takes the table. Avoid weekday lunch time if you want to enjoy a nice meal but any time is good to enjoy a home style meal at ridiculously low prices. read more

Pretty good. Best rice I've ever had, loaded with so much butter it gave the older lady I went with heartburn. It came with Oxtails and plantains- tasty didn't finish the black beans, but they were good. Service was pretty quick and they don't understand any/much English! read more

This place is horrible .The worst service ever called to place an order was left on hold for more than ten minutes.Arrived there and still couldn't place my order waited another 5 minutes with no service. Left and went to McDonald's .This is the second time and same lack of service. They also need to hire someone that speaks English. read more

Wow, this little whole in the wall blew my mind. Authentic and good Cuban food that tastes better than some famous restaurants that I know. Whomever is back in the kitchen knows what they are doing. Food is very tasty and at very reasonable prices. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good, cheap, and very tasty Cuban food. read more

Place is absolutely delicious! Ordered a Chicken Breast with rice, beans, and plátano (meh) and then some Lechón with congri. Now, I'm giving this place three stars because of their customer service. I asked for some congri and never have I seen it made with red beans. Thankfully when I went BACK they made some new congri and gave me some of that one. I was very polite in the way that I asked for a different plate and the girls in the front all seemed to have an attitude with me. Me food sat in the back to the point where I had to mention it to someone to please go get my food. So food good, service terrible. read more

Absolutely phenomenal. The best bang for your buck you'll get. Been in south florida on business for the last two weeks and I regret not finding this place sooner. read more

This is a small Cuban spot with good food and amazing prices. You can have a steak and egg breakfast for $7 and try at included coffee and toast. The service can be a little slow (hence the missing star), but it's still worth it. Usually they are super packed for breakfast so expect a wait as well. I order from here at least once a week! read more

If what you're seeking is authentic Cuban food for pretty cheap this is the place to go. The food is amazing. I've had the oxtail which is probably one of my faves. I love coming here on weekends and grabbing coffee with buttery Cuban bread toasted to perfection. Place gets very packed though so you may have to wait. Nothing fancy just some good food and juices. read more

This is definitely a go to spot. Great portions and very affordable. My local go to for Cuban

Horrible service but good food. Only reason why my rating is so high because the food is that good. After 630 pm stay away, you won't get service unless your a diehard regular. read more

WOW!! This place was recommended to me when I went for service at the Honda dealer in US1. This place serves very home made Cuban food...it is YUMMY!!! And most of all SUPER AFFORDABLE! My only concern is if I keep coming they are going to have to roll me out. Worth the visit, small place, nothing fancy hole in the wall, but worth trying-100% read more

Pretty good hidden Cuban restaurant in Palmetto. The staff was very friendly and attentive, ambiance was homey and casual. Came here with 3 other people and we shared only 2 sandwiches and we're all stuffed! The portions are generous! Ropa vieja sandwich & Pan con Bistec sandwiches were ok. The meat had good flavor but the meat wasn't the greatest quality. I wouldn't come back for these but it suffices a hungry appetite Tostones- I really enjoyed these. They were soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside.. Eat them with their garlic sauce and some Cholula hot sauce and u got your self a good snack!! Cafe con leche: Delicious! I'm starting to wonder if you can even get a bad one here in Miami! I've been drinking those like water here! So good. Pastel de guayaba: not the best I've had here in Miami but still ok. It had a good, even amount of filing. This place is super affordable! Out tab for 4 of us came to $17! read more

Damn, really disappointed in the service here. From the moment I walked in, staff seemed not happy and very uninterested in even taking my order. Sat here for over 5 minutes with 4 ladies looking at a screen and talking. Finally girl comes up, says nothing other than what would you like. Never again! Tip? Here's my $$$tip: next time someone walks in- maybe make them feel welcomed so they can leave you $$ for your great service. Prices are very affordable. Small place but sh*$y attitude and service. Let's add that it takes forever for your food to come out. Not many people in the restaurant either.. if you don't speak Spanish you will be upset.. luckily I understood both and that seems to change things some. If you read other reviews you will see service is a consistent problem here. Even the damn bill took long to get! read more

First time coming here and I'm blown away by this place. The food is just so good! Their portions are big and the prices are great! So happy to find this gem. The ropa Vieja sandwich was amazing and I can't wait to come back and try more things read more

We've been visiting this place since its inception. Food has ALWAYS been outstanding. I love their breakfast, their sandwiches, their lunch and dinner options. Prices are very reasonable, and we always leave with a smile on our faces. Very grateful to have El Dos Ruedas on SW 160th St just west of US1, and to be able to enjoy excellent Cuban food. We've never been disappointed with our meal choices. A gem!! read more

Ñooooo que vola? Cubanito restaurant, good cheap lots of food for your money, the basic breakfast eggs toast and cafe con leche is 2.50 and it's huge. Lunch is good too beers are only 2.50 I am trying most of the items on the menu but it is excellent and cheap. I am giving it only 4 stars because its not a fancy place and it can get busy there, but overall is muy bueno. read more

I used to enjoy this place. The food and service was good. Now the service girls are w attitude and the cook basically sprinkles seasoning to everything. Pork, steak, chicken just gross. Got 4 dofferent take out meals and we all tossed in the garbage of how bad it was. They lost me and my family as customers. Such a shame. We really liked it before. read more

The food here is delicious !! It's a little hidden gem because I've lived here my whole life and only recently discovered dos ruedas through a friend . I recommend the chicken fricasse it's the bomb! Lol the only thing I can say being a white girl yes I know is extremely rare in Miami but I wish at least one person spoke English there so I could better order but that's ok I just go with my Hispanic friends lol read more

I Love this place! I found it about a year back when I started working at Inspired Lifestyle Realty, LLC. (The best real estate agency in all of Florida). I have tasted almost everything on the menu...and let me tell you it is the best Cuban food I have had in the last 4 years in Miami. I go here some days for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have good service and when you become a regular it is a lot better. They get pretty busy so there is a wait time. Majority of the time I call ahead and order over the phone for pick-up and in 15 min I go and it is ready to go. My favorite dishes are Pan con biftec, pan con pechuga de pollo and the grilled fish with rice and black beans. I have brought my family and it has become their favorite spot too, can't go wrong with the prices my family of 5 eats for up to $40. You cannot go wrong with this place. It is the only place that reminds me of a dinner in new England where i'm from. Great atmosphere, excellent food, good prices and service. read more

El Dos Ruedas - Best places to eat great $ - Cuban Near Me - Miami, Florida

The food is good and the prices are exceptional! The staff is great. I use to go there at least once a week with a friend of mine. Then I started to come by myself and I notice the service I would get when I'm with my Cuban/Hispanic friend compared to when I would come by myself. It was hard for me to get service as a matter of fact on numerous occasions they wouldn't bring me what I ask for. I hate to bring the race or the language barrier into this but unfortunately that's what it is. In conclusion now I only come here maybe once a year if that. Once again good restaurant but not BLACK PEOPLE FRIENDLY or if you don't speak Spanish. read more

Atmosphere = OK (for diner) Price = reasonable Service = awful Hole in the wall diner style Cuban Food restaurant. At the time that I went the crowd was moderate and we were seated right away. The food was decent considering the price, which was quite reasonable. The amount of food was great. I was told by others at the table that the food was very traditionally Cuban. The taste was just OK. I've had better, but not at this price. The service is where this place fails. Order taken, food delivered, and that's it. The server never came back. I had to go to the counter to get our water refilled. Again to get a container for leftovers, and again to request our check. I struggled with the rating 2-star or 3, and decided to give the benefit of doubt regarding the service. Would I go back? -- Sure. read more
