It was a Friday night, so it was pretty packed when we first got there. We put our names down, and then grabbed a drink at the bar. There was outdoor seating that was available, so we grabbed a seat. We were then notified that our table was ready. It wasn't even 20 minutes, so this was great. The host took us to two seats at the bar. SOS is such a cool island type of vibe. They have so many different tiki cocktails that you can choose from. They are mostly made of rum, but they have a few other ones that are made with different alcohols. Me and my wife both got our own drinks. Hers was a special Valentine's Day themed drink that was on the menu, and mine was one of the tequila/mezcal tiki drinks. Both tasted really good! The presentation was just as good too! You aren't limited to these though, it's a full bar, so you can get whatever you want. They also have a few food options, but very limited. Our bartender, Heather, was super nice as well. My wife had asked (when I went to the restroom) if they did anything for birthdays, since my birthday was a few days prior. She did this cool fire presentation and gave us two little slushie shots. Awesome bartender for sure! SOS is a great place to go for some really fun drinks. It's good for groups, but keep in mind that they do get quite busy on the weekends! I'll definitely be back.

All the drinks were very fun and taste great and range from smooth to STRONG. The attention to detail put into crafting the drinks is very admirable. I can guarantee your drink will look exactly like how it's depicted on the menu. If only I could remember the names of all the drinks I tried....oh well. What I do remember is that they set the Mai Tai's on fire so that's pretty cool. Service was also great. S/O Charlie! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. You're welcome!

Inside is dimly lit with several tables, a large bar, and a furry staircase leading upstairs to another bar. Service was good and the drinks were strong. I ordered the Bayou Fog. The food was tasty but nothing special, more like a solid homemade sandwich with your favorite mayo. It's good and satisfying, just not unforgettable. I had the Seafood and Sausage Gumbo and a half Po' Boy called Bo Kho, and while both were enjoyable, they're items I could easily make at home. I'd go again if invited but probably wouldn't make a special trip. If you're curious, it's worth checking out for yourself. Parking is limited behind the restaurant, the lot across the street is for Mary Mac's, and street parking or the Park Mobile app may be your best option.

The coconut cream matcha and the cherry limeade were both delicious. For apps we did raw gulf oysters 100/10 and crab claws 10/10 the sauce on them was insane. I had catfish basket, the seasoning on the fries was great and the fish perfectly crispy outside with a soft meltiness to the fish. Tartar sauce tasted homemade. The crab legs were good with a little kick and very smoky flavor which brought out a bit of sweetness. For dessert the ube pie was 10/10 I love a good dessert that doesn't make me feel stuffed and ready to lay down and this was perfect Would absolutely go a million more times def recommend making a reservation

If you are coming during your boat day I'd give this place a 4, coming to it off of dry land... a 3…read moreprobably. Pelican Pete's being on the water and making it easy to dock your boat and come on up is suuuper convenient. Who wants to pack a lunch and make room in the cooler? Nobody. That definitely means this place gets busy though. So prepare yourself for possibly a long wait. Some friends and I visited Saturday afternoon. We put our names in for our group (10 of us) and had a wait of an hour. Not horrible. We took a bathroom break and hung out at the boat until it was our time. Pro- the bathroom was surprisingly clean! Con- only 3 stalls so there was a significant line. When we sat down we had to wait a bit to get our orders taken which was a little annoying but there were lots of people there so I'm sure our server was swamped. She was friendly. The food was pretty good! I liked the dock burger that I got. I loved the sauce they put on it, paired really well with the carmelized onions. Fries were awesome! And I loved the Lava Flow drink as well. The way they brought out our food was not the greatest. They had a food runner bringing the plates out and asking the whole table "who ordered the _____" and some of us ordered the same thing without an ingredient so that was a lot of fun for a table of 10. Why not hire more servers and have them bring the food to their own tables? Much better idea especially for larger groups where they know who ordered what. Prices are a little high, especially for things like fish & chips. $24? Kinda weird. Not sure why a burger is $6 less than simple fried fish. Anyway. I know it's on the water and there are costs involved in that, so I won't harp on it too much. I'd happily come back because I enjoyed the food and love how easy it is to come up to it off the water. But it would be really nice if they had more bathrooms and knew who ordered what when they ran food. Oh and if they lowered the price of the seafood.
