I had heard about this place for a while and I finally decided to check it out. First chips and salsa tasted great. We ordered a molcajete to share. I wish I would have taken a picture of it, but it was exactly how the menu shows it! It was definitely a delicious shareable entree. Service was amazing, friendly and attentive staff. The inside is clean and well maintained. Music playing in the background but played at a low volume. Would give it a 6 star if it were possible. Customer service was exceptional. Other than that, the seafood was disappointing. The crab and mussels were very dry and chewy. The rice and beans were also very bland. I ordered the Camerones a la crema which was 7 good sized pieces of shrimp with a side of refried beans & rice as well as hand made tortillas everything was so very tasty. I also ordered 2 grande carne asada tacos which were pretty big & filling. The carne asada was very fresh & juicy, the tortillas were hand made. I also ordered an horchata made from scratch. Highly recommended & excellent service. I had a great time & on my way out I also ordered a Mexican Coca Cola made with real sugar. I'm so full but it was so worth it & I'm so satisfied I have no need to eat anything else today. I can't wait to head back to El Coco Loco in Modesto, California!!!
