This review is for my boyfriend who is a friend of Miguel, he has been coming here for years. He just recently took our cousins and I here. The food was immaculate the oysters were so fresh. They cleaned and prepped them so well, I was surprised by how fresh they were since we are in the valley. We also tried their flights and happy hour menu which were all really good. The staff were so friendly it felt like we were at a family member's house. read more

I recently discovered this restaurant on Instagram thanks to a foodie influencer who gave it a great review. I wasn't disappointed with my experience there. Although the place was quite busy, the staff was very attentive and informed us that we would be seated as soon as a table became available. I went there with my mom and decided to order a variety of dishes from the menu. We were both extremely pleased with everything we tried. The restaurant serves amazing naturally flavored aguas frescas, shrimp empanadas, molcajete Nayarit, bolsa classica, and two al pastor tacos. These were the dishes we ordered for the two of us, and each one was full of amazing flavors. Needless to say, we had a lot of food, but we gladly took the rest home. We were very happy with everything and would like to thank the staff for their excellent service. Gracias, gracias, gracias! Quedamos encantados con todo. read more

I absolutely love coming here the service is so good too, the owner (I'm assuming) is so sweet and generous! The Pescado Zarandiado is a must. A decent size space with plenty of seating. Customer service was fair and pleasant.

Some of the best seafood Ive had! All of there dishes are fresh and well portioned, I love the quesabirria tacos aside from all of the amazing seafood. The catering is on point as well! Great sized trays and they even helped customize the order to our parties preference. The outdoor patio is also open now with ample seating that is well spaced out! Overall amazing service during these hard times and out standing food! read more

My sister and I came here yesterday and I'm still thinking about the food. With all the covid restrictions, dining out or in is different.. so they didn't have outdoor dining and sat us inside next to another group of people, which wasn't terrible but we would've preferred to be sat outside. We started off with chips and salsa.. it was your standard and the salsa was tasty with a good kick. Guacamole had too much onion and not enough flavor in my opinion. We ordered shrimp and octopus coctel.. that was very refreshing and tasty. The star of the show was the seafood mocajete. Im still thinking about it. I'll let the pictures do the talking read more

We stopped by here for dinner today (11/24), we were looking for unique Mexican restaurant and we are not disappointed. In fact, it might well be one of the best Mexican food I had. To start off, the chips is excellent, and the rice too. When restaurant can make simple things like chips and rice good, you know the bar it sets :) we ordered their signature mocajete, it's definitely one of kind experience! Our waiter Manuel is also super attentive. Their outdoor dining area is also very nice with heat lamps, and restroom is very clean:) read more

My co-workers and I went here last week. We all ordered super burritos which are 14 bucks each. All of our burritos were loaded with so much rice that's all we could taste. I tried calling to speak with a manager and see if they would make it right. I left my name and phone number but never received a call back. I literally never complain, but with us spending nearly 45 bucks to have rice burritos that's just insane to me. I feel robbed. It's a shame because it's close to my work and convenient, but I'd rather drive farther to get better service. read more

We went because it looked like a typical Mexican restaurant, but the prices were absolutely ridiculous and we couldn't eat one of the dishes it tasted so bad (one of the house specials). Amazing food and amazing service to go with it! I've never been to a restaurant where not just your server but every server walking by is constantly checking on you to make sure everything is good and if you need anything. Even someone whom I assume is the owner went around asking everyone if they needed anything and how their food was. They have so much variety of food I was amazed by the vast selection. I was a little skeptical at first coming since I'm not from Modesto and not from the area but came here from lathrop because of the pictures looked so good and my pregnancy cravings kicked in that I had to make the drive! So worth it will definitely be coming back! Also I came a Friday night and they had Karaoke! So much fun to watch! read more
