Yuca rellena - different but good! Papa rellena- again different but good. Tamal Cuban- good, different but good Traditional Cuban Sandwich **must have** loaded with meat and flavor I'm glad I tried things I did not know. I will definitely be stopping back in to try more entrees. Was on the water most the morning, after all this goodness I just wanted to go home and curl up! Yum yum yum!!

The further shame is the lack of palatable food at this establishment. Edna, your employees have my sympathies if THIS is how you respond to visitors of your restaurant. Again, this Owner continues to post to my review due to her inability to process one bad review. You need this, poor Edna, so here it is...you win. You have $20 of my money. They are currently looking for kitchen help, so okay delay. When I finally did get my food it was mediocre at best. A bland Cuban sandwich is enough to make any Hispanic sad. The "seasoned" fries? Seasoned with...banality. I didn't even taste salt, but noticed there sure seemed to be enough oil on my plate under the fries. But the nail in the coffin (shudder) was, as I was preparing to leave, seeing a large cockroach on the dining room floor. I pointed it out to my server, left the other half of the unfinished Cuban in the takeout container on the table and walked out. They got $19 from me today - they'll never get another dime. And I HIGHLY recommend they figure out their situation before a health inspector stops by. Blech...

Many chicken and pork selections; several rice, bean, fish, vegetable and salad dishes that are usually very tasty. Had the tilapia daily special. It was prepared well, but lost a star from the poor quality of the actual fish used. Mostly take out but indoor/outdoor dining tables. Don't forget to ask for lime slices and salad dressings. Deep, rich, no shortcuts -- tastes like somebody actually cares back there. Empanada was on point -- crust had that snap, filling didn't play games. And the carne frita... crispy outside, melts like butter inside. Dangerous. Rice and pigeon peas did exactly what they're supposed to do -- hold the whole plate down without stealing the show.
