We have been eating here for over 10 years. The food and customer service in the past had been great. However, other than the chips and salsa, the food today was disappointing. The menudo seemed to be lacking seasonings and the broth looked light orange. Perhaps watered down? I don't know. Unfortunately, a can of menudo has more flavor. The red and green sauces on the burritos and the green sauce for the chile verde plate also had no seasonings and tasted like they had been watered down as well. I understand that they are short staffed and are hiring, so perhaps that may be a reason the quality of the food has declined. I will wait a while before I eat there again. read more

Where do I begin? My husband and I have been coming here for years and always love it! The food, the service, the prices. He picked up dinner for us tonight and it was over $35 for a Carne Asada burrito and a taco salad. Sure I got extra chicken but that is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous!!!! He said there was hardly anyone in there and well, now we know why! Sadly this will be the last time we will ever eat there. I'm not sure what is happening but I can tell you with your ridiculous price increase you will loose many customers. Seems you already have!! read more

Stopped in after it was recommended by a local merchant and wasn't disappointed. The food was clean, not swimming is grease and I didn't keep "experiencing" the refried beans for hours afterwards, concluding they don't use lard. Chips and salsa were addicting and the service was great. Had fish tacos which were fresh, they didn't cheat by throwing a frozen, battered fish finger in a tortilla Plus you gotta love the vibrant vintage themed Senorita fabric used as upholstery, all those gorgeous, smiling ladies swimming in flowers. If I could give 10 stars I would. This place is delicious. Had lunch with some friends. Three had the shrimp cocktail ( I could not try this because I wanted to keep breathing today. Allergic! Lol) One had the enchilada (I tasted and should have gotten this. So good) Another friend had the burrito, me grilled chicken salad. If you follow me you see I have to eat gluten free. The salad has plain grilled chicken, of course lettuce and lots of cucumber and more. Delicious! I will be back for sure now that I finally found this place. read more

Well slap me silly, that was a nice burrito! Went to El Charro for breakfast this morning with my bro and friends and they set me up with a delicious burrito. The waitress was very kind and always checked on us. Best believe I'm going to take my happy self over there again. read more

Great customer service but my deal breaker is the food. The cheese inside the enchiladas was still cold and so was my chile relleno. The service here is always great and the food is fresh and well made. We usually visit after church on Sunday. I have the ham and cheese omelette and the kids have quesadilla or little things like that. My wife says the menudo is a 7 out of 10 but she knows what authentic menudo is supposed to taste like so for others it might be a 10. All in all a great place to eat with great service. read more

Who knew such tasty treats would be found in such a nondescript strip mall?! The chicken filling inside the flautas was pillowy and well seasoned. I loved the street corn! It was crunchy, sweet and tangy with mayonnaise coating. The cheese was perfect. Very balanced. Anyways, seems mostly like a locals spot in this small town off the normal grid, and is a must for me now. Got the beef taco chicken enchilada combo, the taco was excellent! Enchilada very tasty, beans and rice added to the flavor I received. The salsa is amazing! closes early like 8 on weekends 7 during the week, they were Turning people away at 8 on Saturday. This restaurant is very family-friendly! It feels inviting, a bit dark, but absolutely comfortable! All the employees do their best to make their customers happy and every meal is hot and delicious. The one flaw: their salsa bowls are too small!! And they serve Pepsi not coke. read more

Service was great. The scenery was comfortable. Their parking is limited - especially on busy dinners, but their food makes up for it. I absolutely adore their wet burrito and fajitas. IF I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS I WOULD. The albondigas is nasty and I spoke with the "manager of the kitchen" and told her there were no meatballs and the soup was watery and she said I watched them put the meatballs in there and there's 5 in each container. OBVIOUSLY THEY CANT COUNT. There was a half of meatball out of the whole soup. I suggest going to EL MARIACHI. It may be more expensive but it's better than getting water. read more

Very upset with owner or manager. Ordered food through delivery service and order was incomplete! When I called the restaurant they acknowledged it was their mistake because they forgot to give driver all the items and told me I needed to go pick up missing food!!! Did not care about any inconvenience or the fact that I was charged a delivery fee and service fee when I had to go pick up items myself. Did not care to compensate or try to give at least some free chips or nothing! When I went in they did have a lot of orders so I get they were overwhelmed but compensate customers when you make a mistake, it's the right thing to do and not just be like you can come pick up order. So by the time I went back to pick up missing items of course all the food was cold! Poor customer service and lack of consideration for inconvenience when it's their mistake read more

GOOD PLACE!!! been in the pass area for only 8 mths. and all the folks at sun lakes say give this place a try. Taco salad was the best the wife has eaten and the chili colorado burrito was like home. spent 15.06 on the meal. the service was great so I left a 5 dollar tip so for 20 dollars we left very happy. will be back read more

This place used to be really good owner seem to be getting greedy! Their service has gone way down went in 3 weeks ago and to 40 minutes to get chips and salsa it ended up taking almost 2 hours to eat and all we got was menudo.SO tried again today and sure enough no menudo for an 1 1/2 hrs ! I ordered chicken burrito didnt like it asked for refund it took them 25 mins to refund my money back

never returning ever again! slow service took them over an hour to make our food, added extra items to my plate that i never ordered, charging us $11.98 for two kid sized pancakes with no sides!?? i don't think so not with me sorry!!! these people cant even split a check saying they weren't able to??? and when they finally decided to do it, it took them another hour to figure it out while we sat there waiting impatiently maybe they need some more training on how to do their job waitress had an attitude not to mention the so called "manager" had one as well great example for the rest of the employees what a joke over all bad service bad attitudes do not recommend this place the food isn't as good as these people are exaggerating it to be im mexican and this is not authentic mexican food not worth it. read more

Loved that our cousin recommended this place. The food was AMAZING. My shrimp tacos were some of the best I've ever had. Seemed everyone else enjoyed their food very much. This "sleeper" out here is that only locals know. Mostly all of us travel here to get satisfied for some true authentic. Perhaps on the back road to Oak Glenn. I usually get a bag of chips and a pint of their salsa to take home on top of my take home. read more
