Chicken enchiladas with poblano sauce, beans and rice.
    Melissa L.

My husband and I dined in for lunch. This is our second time visiting in the last 6 months. The restaurant was not crowded, it was quiet and clean. We were greeted right away by Gerardo and given a table near the bar. We enjoyed their chips and salsa with a Chispa. Their chips are light and not salty which I like they gave us two different salsa. One was a creamy green salsa. It was very good and had a little bit of a bite to it and the regular orange salsa that they serve that had a very nice flavor. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with poblano sauce and they were extremely good. My chicken was very tender and seasoned well rolled into soft corn tortillas and topped with a green poblano sauce. It was so tasty. The refried beans are very good and their Mexican rice is fluffy and flavorful and reminded me of my mother's. I highly recommend them. Everything was so delectable.

Excellent as always! Very accommadating with no rice or no beans with their dinner entrees. Brought grandson's quesadilla out quickly. Complimentary chips and salsa. Many menu choices. I have never ordered anything here that was not excellent! We often bring guests here because the food and the service are excellent. Plenty of parking. Handicapped access is easy Outside seating available Full bar Televisions on site but not obnoxious

I took my mom for an early lunch on a Friday. It was pretty chill with 80's music playing. Our waiter was very nice and bilingual. We both had soup - I had pozole and my mom had the chicken tortilla soup. We both enjoyed our soups and the presentation was beautiful - as you can see from the pictures. All of the ingredients were fresh and the soup itself wasn't greasy which I appreciated because of my sensitive stomach. We also quite enjoyed the salsa and chips. They were a little on the salty side but still good. Highly recommend for a chill lunch during the week!

I've only been here for breakfast so I can't speak to their lunch/ dinner menu, although I plan to try that out soon just to see if it's any better. For breakfast, the food is pretty average. On my most recent visit I had the huevos divorciados. Quick highlights: - The potatoes were bland and lacked seasoning - The red salsa made up for the missing flavor and saved the dish - The side of beef fajita meat I added was really good - I asked the waiter if the coffee was cafe de olla, was told yes so I ordered it, but it definitely wasn't My main complaint is their chilaquiles don't include egg, which most places do. You have to pay an extra $3. Also no meat. I'd prefer the cost of eggs be worked into the dish and automatically included. But that's just my preference. I do have to give them kudos for the great service and very clean looking restaurant. This makes me want to keep trying them to see if maybe I find that one dish that really wows me.

Everything was great re food, service and ambiance! The enchiladas were fresh and not and the charro beans were the best ever! They were seasoned and cooked like no other beans. Excellent! Thnx guys!

My friend had the Enchilada Trio and it was very good, the Chipotle one being her favorite. I had the Pescado Al Ajillo (Sea Bass with buttery garlic sauce and gajillo peppers). The fish was very tender and the roasted pepper flakes provided a sweet and tart flavor. Service was good. Parking is plentiful although I wish the lighting and signage outside the restaurant was better.

This is a great spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Nice atmosphere with great service. The food quality is great with nice fresh ingredients. I started with the Chicken Tortilla soup and man was it good! It had tons of shredded chicken breast meat and you had the cheese, avocado and strips on the side so you can add at your leisure. It was a lot though, so make sure you don't over order on your other food as you'll get full quick! I wish they had it as a cup option which would have been the perfect option. I have had the Enchilada Trio which was filled with Chicken and covered in Chipotle, Mole and Poblano sauces. My favorite enchilada sauce is mole and they do this well here. They also have a fully stocked bar and the margaritas are pretty good. Give them a try in Stone Oak and Alamo Heights area.

Our server was amazing he knew when to come by and was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful and they have an outside patio for nice nights. Theres a full bar with TVs if you like to watch sports. The food exceeded my expectations. I mean its a green flag when the free salsa is absolutely delicious. This will become my new go to date night spot!

The food was good, nothing super incredible or memorable. The staff initially was a little short and standoffish but got nicer as the dinner went on, I just wish it had stared off that way. I got beef enchiladas, chips and queso, and margarita on the rocks. The chips were half stale but the queso was really good.

Food is fantastic. Haven't tried anything we didn't like. Would recommended, and would take our family visiting from out of town there.

In the lobby for checkin today, I had an instant headache because the fragrance was so strong. At that point they informed us that there is some additional fee per day on top of the already pricey room, a fee that they never disclosed before today. We continued upstairs, and I could hardly breathe in the elevator it was so scented. When we got to the room it was also heavily fragranced. I tried to call the front desk, and the phone in the room didn't work reliably. Our call dropped several times. They offered box fans for us to air out the room. However, when we opened the windows, a blast of cigarette smoke wafted into the room because it is directly above their designated smoking area. We asked the front desk for help, and they said not to worry, hardly anyone smokes in that area. Meanwhile we watched several people out there smoking almost constantly. They offered no other accommodation or help. Not worth it. Very uncomfortable and upset because this will ruin our vacation. Edit: 1 to 3 stars. The manager eventually heard our concerns, responding to a secondary issue with cigar smoke in our room after leaving windows open - their recommendation- to air out the room. They found us a different accommodation and made it more than fair and comfortable. Why not 4 stars? Because it took the entire first day to be resolved.
