Chicken enchiladas with poblano sauce, beans and rice.
    Melissa L.

My husband and I dined in for lunch. This is our second time visiting in the last 6 months. The restaurant was not crowded, it was quiet and clean. We were greeted right away by Gerardo and given a table near the bar. We enjoyed their chips and salsa with a Chispa. Their chips are light and not salty which I like they gave us two different salsa. One was a creamy green salsa. It was very good and had a little bit of a bite to it and the regular orange salsa that they serve that had a very nice flavor. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with poblano sauce and they were extremely good. My chicken was very tender and seasoned well rolled into soft corn tortillas and topped with a green poblano sauce. It was so tasty. The refried beans are very good and their Mexican rice is fluffy and flavorful and reminded me of my mother's. I highly recommend them. Everything was so delectable.

Excellent as always! Very accommadating with no rice or no beans with their dinner entrees. Brought grandson's quesadilla out quickly. Complimentary chips and salsa. Many menu choices. I have never ordered anything here that was not excellent! We often bring guests here because the food and the service are excellent. Plenty of parking. Handicapped access is easy Outside seating available Full bar Televisions on site but not obnoxious

    Sope with chicken

Been here a few times now. Always great food and friendly staff. Today went for breakfast. Delicious! We love patio since we can take our dog. They've added shades to keep things cool. Very nice and relaxing. We had a yummy El Catrin waffle and the sopes with chicken. Both prepared well and very tasty. This is a gem!

I took my mom for an early lunch on a Friday. It was pretty chill with 80's music playing. Our waiter was very nice and bilingual. We both had soup - I had pozole and my mom had the chicken tortilla soup. We both enjoyed our soups and the presentation was beautiful - as you can see from the pictures. All of the ingredients were fresh and the soup itself wasn't greasy which I appreciated because of my sensitive stomach. We also quite enjoyed the salsa and chips. They were a little on the salty side but still good. Highly recommend for a chill lunch during the week!

Our first visit the food was so delicious and our server Alex was great too! Definitely going back!

I've only been here for breakfast so I can't speak to their lunch/ dinner menu, although I plan to try that out soon just to see if it's any better. For breakfast, the food is pretty average. On my most recent visit I had the huevos divorciados. Quick highlights: - The potatoes were bland and lacked seasoning - The red salsa made up for the missing flavor and saved the dish - The side of beef fajita meat I added was really good - I asked the waiter if the coffee was cafe de olla, was told yes so I ordered it, but it definitely wasn't My main complaint is their chilaquiles don't include egg, which most places do. You have to pay an extra $3. Also no meat. I'd prefer the cost of eggs be worked into the dish and automatically included. But that's just my preference. I do have to give them kudos for the great service and very clean looking restaurant. This makes me want to keep trying them to see if maybe I find that one dish that really wows me.

    A place of great food!

Everything was great re food, service and ambiance! The enchiladas were fresh and not and the charro beans were the best ever! They were seasoned and cooked like no other beans. Excellent! Thnx guys!

My friend had the Enchilada Trio and it was very good, the Chipotle one being her favorite. I had the Pescado Al Ajillo (Sea Bass with buttery garlic sauce and gajillo peppers). The fish was very tender and the roasted pepper flakes provided a sweet and tart flavor. Service was good. Parking is plentiful although I wish the lighting and signage outside the restaurant was better.

This is a great spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Nice atmosphere with great service. The food quality is great with nice fresh ingredients. I started with the Chicken Tortilla soup and man was it good! It had tons of shredded chicken breast meat and you had the cheese, avocado and strips on the side so you can add at your leisure. It was a lot though, so make sure you don't over order on your other food as you'll get full quick! I wish they had it as a cup option which would have been the perfect option. I have had the Enchilada Trio which was filled with Chicken and covered in Chipotle, Mole and Poblano sauces. My favorite enchilada sauce is mole and they do this well here. They also have a fully stocked bar and the margaritas are pretty good. Give them a try in Stone Oak and Alamo Heights area.

Our server was amazing he knew when to come by and was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful and they have an outside patio for nice nights. Theres a full bar with TVs if you like to watch sports. The food exceeded my expectations. I mean its a green flag when the free salsa is absolutely delicious. This will become my new go to date night spot!

I'm glad they had room for us but, it's still safe to make reservations. We did not know they are a tapas style restaurant, but that didn't deter us. Light dish. Tc double cheese burger: very strong flavors, somewhat sweet. Dense/heavy dish . Our waiter was quick and friendly. The restaurant lighting was dimmed and gave a more intimate /bar environment. I think the ac was broken here because it was very warm and they had fans going on around the room. I think this place would be good for someone who is prefers an American fusion cuisine that leans heavily on the western style dishes. The fusion elements were cute but I still left unsatisfied but still full. We did not park. We walked here right from the river walk. Not a bad place to go if you arrive in town after 9 pm.
