We had the Steak Tartare, the Chef's Board, the Blackend Crabcake, the Pear and Burrata Salad, and the Bone-in Pork Chop. We each got the cheesecake for desert and split the other dishes. This was more than enough for the three of us and we left full, happy, and with three large to-go boxes. The flavors of the various dishes were amazing. The potato had a nice crispy exterior and soft pillowy inside and the vegetables were not overcooked. I do wish that they would've given a large portion for the vegetables, but I can understand them trying to keep the plates looking clean and nice. I'd say if there's one thing that was not good at this restaurant it was the complementary bread. The bread that came out had clearly been smashed down. I'm not sure if the bread came that way, or if maybe someone doesn't know how to cut bread in the kitchen. On top of that, the bread was very plain. For a fancy restaurant like this I expected something a little nicer, maybe even a sourdough. Just go ahead and skip the bread, it's not worth eating when you have so many better things to eat. Presentation was pleasing to the eye, plenty of cheesy grits but I felt like there could have been a couple more shrimp (maybe that's just me) it's not like they were the jumbo prawns. I got the pozole roja (I think that's the menu name) and - yo, it was the best pozole I've had. The ingredients were plenty, the chicken was tender and flavorful, they put the radishes, cilantro and cabbage on the side for you to add so it's not soggy. Sourdough was so good to dip - mouth is watering writing this. Service th morning we were headed out at 7amish was great also - wife got coffee cake (warmed in their brick oven) and I got two citrus muffins and a sourdough cinnamon roll for later - all were scrumptious and delightful. I would got a half dozen muffins if I knew they were that good before. People were kind and the service is quick. We ate there these two time on $52 dollars - both to-go orders.
