Hands down best Mexican spot in town :) my favorite is Chile Relleno with pico, add green chilli sauce. Always satisfied when I go.

Heard nothing but great things about this place, only to be disappointed. Went there last night for the first time & ordered food to go. 3 dishes for me, my husband & son. 3 things wrong. Ordered chicken enchiladas & got beef. Asked for extra rice & no beans for my taco dinner & only received 1 portion of rice. Ordered a kids burrito with extra rice, no beans & received NONE at all! Food in general was decent but nothing spectacular about it although the horchata is delicious. Do not think I will be going back though. Sticking with Mi Mexico because it's the best place I've found so far. read more

This place has awesome burritos. I've been here half a dozen times and the burritos are large and delicious. After you order your burrito / taco they make it in front of you and ask what sort of veggies / salsa you want on it , it's like a Subway but for Mexican food. The only downside is that this place is pricey, everytime I go I'm prepared to drop between $ 12-15 for a burrito. But other than that this place is my go to spot to satisfy my Mexican craving. read more

I recently discovered this place after having lived here for 4 years. I really liked that it was authentic. The price wasn't too bad either. If you text the code on the menu to the number on the menu, they will send you text messages with coupons. The atmosphere is slightly lacking and the looks of the restaurant may deceive, but it s definitely worth a try. Once you do, you will be surprised to discover that the food tastes amazing. It doesn't look like a lot but somehow just barely manages to fill you up before you are overly stuffed. I like the burritos and the rice in particular. I was told this place was stellar so I gave it a try only to be utterly disappointed. Everything is fairly high priced and they charge extra for just about everything. Got the 3 taco plate of asada with beans and rice. The meat is not seasoned well at all, also really chewy, rice and beans tasted store bought. We probably eat here at least 3x a month.! We ordered through BiteSquad and our food never arrived. After 3 hours I called El Azteca and in Spanish the owner tells the guy who picked up the phone "no es nuestro problema" which means "it's not our problem. I then spoke to her and she told me there was nothing she could do because it's not her problem. It's Bitesquads problem.... YALL HAVE A CONTRACT WITH BITESQUAD! ITS YOUR PROBLEM TOO! I grew up on Southern California Mexican food, and live in Texas now. El Azteca is as good or better than any authentic mexican restaurants I have found. Frijoles and Rice are always consistent (a hallmark of good Mexican food) and the Burritos are top notch with home made tortillas. Try their excellent Chile relleno. I don't know how they source their food so far out of border towns, but this is great food, and terrific service. read more

This is the second restaurant that I found that they cook really Mexican food. The first one was Chile Verde. Good meal, good size & good price. I ordered a Chile Verde burrito and my boyfriend Eggs with ham burrito breakfast, which it was order in afternoon time :). My chile Verde burrito was good!. Like some one else commented they do not have a big menu like a restaurant but what I ordered tested good and Mexican. read more

This is REALLY good food! Giant portions, friendly service, excellent prices! My only negative is that they only use styrofoam boxes and plastic silverware. (terrible for the environment) If you are eating a burrito you cut right through. Best to get it to go and put it on a plate at home. read more

I can't get around their burritos to order anything else. Their fresh jalapenos have some good heat and the chorizo is very tasty. The food just makes your stomach happy! It would be a five star if they brought back sopapillas. read more

I was excited about this place after reading the reviews. Disappointed. Music was so loud you couldn't talk to your dinner companions, in addition to a TV blaring. They completely screwed up our order. But they were friendly and took care of the mistakes right away! I had the beef tacos. Not sure what was in them. Mystery meat. Super bland. The salsa was good! I looked at what other's had ordered around me and some of it looked good. I plan to go back and try something else as I might have just ordered the wrong thing. read more
