Mexican food with entertainment is a plus. I sat at the bar, had some wine, and met some thespians. The mariachi band performed all through the huge restaurant. It was a lot of singing while waiting for my food. Steak cooked perfectly, small portion of mashed potatoes and vegetables. The chicken nachos were mediocre. This place is a nice place for authentic Mexican food. This is a great spot for authentic drinks and nice ambient. They have an awesome Mariachi band on Friday's which goes around the tables and they would play any song that you want. Only reason I am giving a four star is due to the fact that service was a bit slow for a Friday night. When my wife and I visited this place was for outdoor seating on a Friday and the service was lacking. I will give it another try since food and drink were amazing. read more

The chips were nice and warm but the salsa was mild and average. My least favorite was the margaritas, they were from a frozen machine and not authentic. The food here was pretty good, but the reason for the one star was the service. We were the only ones inside when we sat down. When we got our drinks we asked for chips and salsa and after about 20 minutes we got chips. We ordered our food and asked about happy hour and the waitress said the passion fruit margarita was not part of it. So we ordered 2 happy hour classic margaritas. When we got our food the waitress asked if we wanted another round since happy hour was about to finish so we did. Then when we asked for our bill she brought over the credit card machine to swipe the card which only showed the total price. We asked for a paper bill and she said "oh you'll get it later". She swiped the card printed the paper bill and left. Since we were still drinking our margaritas we stayed talking not thinking of checking the bill. But as we sat there we noticed all the margaritas were priced the same, so we called the waitress and asked if she forgot to put the happy hour price. She said we never ordered the happy hour margaritas, this was a shock to my boyfriend and I as we clearly had asked her about it and she had even reminded us that happy hour was about to end. She said the price could not be changed and offered us a free round of margaritas. We told her we did not want anymore margaritas, and we asked for the manager. She said there was no manager there, so we couldn't talk to anyone else and nothing could be done. At this point I didn't even care about the money, it was the waitress attitude that was so disrespectful and unapologetic or regretful of her mistake. I was at the outdoor dining on 7/18/20. I had a bad experience here. When I arrived the menus were just being passed around every table without being disinfected. The alcoholic beverages tasted like straight up juice, no alcohol. The food arrived 1hr and a couple of minutes later and on top of that they had it wrong, and had to wait 30min more for them to fix it and bring a new order. They didn't provide enough napkins. The food was salty, to be specific the red chilaquiles. Everything was over priced. This place is focused on over charging and making money. They don't care about the quality of the food they serve or the customer. $200 for a party of 4!!!!!! Never coming back. There's definitely better out there. read more

When the server came over 10 minutes later we asked about it and she said it was cooking still when she clearly had forgotten about it. Finally another 20 minutes later and now with my fiance's food being cold my food arrived. The fajita meat was okay but nothing special. I would not order it again. Even though we ordered the same thing we somehow got different rice and beans then one another. My beans looked like they ran out and added water to them. The worst part of our experience was they tried to charge us full price for everything!! Ridiculous. After being confronted on how absurd that was, they finally took my meal off. Family owned restaurant, they just opened up and were very busy. The manager came to the table a couple of times and even gave us free tacos for the food taking too long. Which I didn't mind I was talking and catching up with friends. Everyone was very friendly and polite and the food was very well plated and everything looked very clean. Every time I've stopped for lunch they have been very attentive, food is delicious, and the atmosphere is very pleasant and comfortable. I highly recommend the ribs (cooked to perfection), the rotisserie chicken (very well seasoned), and a traditional mexican drink. "Agua de Jamaica" is my favorite! The food is delicious , good drinks (you have to try the "Micheladas" ) The DJ likes old Spanish music from the 80's and later in the night there's live music with excellent artists (you want to get up and dance!) .
