Food was good, service was good, and the place was pretty nice. Bathrooms were a bit dirty and they make you pay for things like to-go drinks and extra chips plus using a credit card. Cheese dip was a bit expensive and very cheesy but pretty good. Our waitress was great.

This restaurant is so convenient and food is usually ready in 5-10 minutes. Food, service and wait is excellent! Highly recommend if in this area

Oh MY GOD!! I've been looking for Mexican food that legit has no hint of spiciness to it, and this is about as neutral as it gets! I've passed by here probably a hundred times, and decided to stop because I was hungry (as you do at a restaurant). And on this day, I was legit hungry. I walked in to the dimly lit establishment, and chose to sit at the bar, as I tend to do when I am eating alone, as to save the tables for bigger parties. The staff was very, very nice and made me feel right at home. I browsed the menu and couldn't decide between the burrito supreme, or the chicken quesadilla, both on the lunch menu, so I ordered both. I was given the obligatory chips and salsa, which I tend to be cautious with on the first bite, but was pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't spicy at all. It was all flavor, without all the hot and spicy. Legitimately, some of my all-time favorite salsa. Ever. The burrito and quesadilla arrived, and I dug into both, devouring the burrito quickly. It also wasn't spicy, but just let the natural flavor of the ingredients do the talking for itself. Not disappointed in the slightest. Then I dug into the quesadilla, which I only ate a piece of. (I took the rest to go for the drive) It was hot, delicious, crispy on the outside, melty on the inside, and again, not spicy! Yup, I like it, and I'll go back there again. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I found it fantastic!

Driving to LA (not that LA, Lower Alabama) and needed to grab some lunch. I was all in on Waffle House but other parties in the truck wanted KFC, so we decided on something everyone could agree on, Mexican. There were several uniformed service members eating at the place which is normally a good sign. Building is older but I don't care as long as it is clean and the food is good. Overall solid 3 stars. Food overall 3 stars. Service was really good. The waitress check on us regularly. Quick summary. - Service 5 stars - Cheese dip 3 stars - Salsa 3 stars. Fresh tasting but needed more heat. - Taco salad 3 1/2 stars - Chili Colorado 4 stars - They take cash and plastic - Private parking lot - Staff was taking COVID-19 seriously and wearing masks and gloves.

    my sister got a quesadilla

The tortilla chips were nice and crispy, and the fajitas were ok. However the quesadilla was way too salty to eat. For service, the food came quickly, but once it came, the server no longer cared. When we asked for a new quesadilla because the one we got was not edible, our server said she would get it but never came back. The food was also overpriced for the quality. Finally, the place was clean enough and a bit dim.

You wouldn't think to stop here when driving by the small town of Hope Hull but you definitely should. I was staying at a nearby hotel while in town for work for a month and came here to eat every week and was never disappointed. I tried the carnitas, shredded beef flautas and carne asada tacos. The red salsa they give with the tacos is very good, I asked for it with every meal. I tried multiple Mexican restaurants while in Montgomery and this was the best by far.

Not exactly a hole in the wall, but rather a kind of "hidden gem". This unassuming restaurant, part…read moreof the Holiday Inn hotel, has limited menu, a favorable bar with quite a few canned beers and several draft brews (when the taps are working...they were frozen tonight) plus liquor & some mixed drinks. Wow "limited menu" may seem discouraging, what is on that limited menu is absolutely amazing. We've eaten here several times and, sad to say I'm in a rut, because I've had the burger each time. Half pound of lean ground beef, grilled to perfection - served with lettuce, tomato, and red onion on a toasted brioche bun. Also comes with a side of really crispy fries. My dining companion had the "Chicken Chaser" ... a "lighter chicken dish of grilled chicken breasts sauteed with white wine, mushrooms, and tomatoes." Oh my! Nothing light about this dish in terms of quantity of the calorie might be low. Absolutely delightful sautéed chicken breast. This was served with two sides. Check my photo of the current menu for additional entrée items or sandwiches as well as a list of the canned beers they have on hand Prices are very reasonable and for us, - traveling this weekend... This turned out to be the perfect stopping point for the evening.

I ordered tacos asada and al pastor, as well as a chicken tamale and a piña agua fresca. Everything was good and prepared to order. They are street taco style, with a double layer of corn tortilla on the outside and chopped meat in the middle. I ordered them to go -- they came with a few containers of salsa (a green tomatillo and a red one), fresh limes, and a bag of chopped raw onion and cilantro for garnish. I appreciated that they left those separate so I could make up my tacos fresh when I got home. The tamale was flavorful and packed a punch of lingering heat. I have no idea how the piña tasted since my toddler drank ALL of it in the thirty seconds it took me to get into the car. I'm assuming that means it was pretty good. Overall, these were not quite as mouthwatering as the tacos I know and love in New Mexico and West Texas, but they were a good representation of the genre. I would eat here again!
