Their pinot noirs are fantastic - you can smell and taste the french oak. Scott was our host and he was awesome. Really personable, knowledgeable, and friendly - would definitely request him again (if we're able) when we come back next! Upon arrival, we checked in and got to choose where we wanted to sit -inside or outside. It's a relatively small space, but we enjoyed our spot outside, as it was great weather that day. Everyone has a different palette, but we enjoyed the Warren's Hill pinot - which had a grippier, more tannin-heavy taste (than typical pinot noirs we were associated with). Aromatic, umami, darker berry fruit forward. As I preluded, the sauvignon blanc was fantastic - very fruity on the nose. Clean and bright, and I get predominantly pineapple/tropical notes. Would definitely come back again. We joined their allocation list, as they don't offer a typical wine club experience.

The pass was a good way to get us out there though as I had never heard of this winery before. It is a little bit off the beaten path, but once you find it, it is well worth the drive. They had a nice selection of wines, and we were already impressed with the first taste of chardonnay. The winetasting server was very down-to-earth, informative and nicely chatty as he served us up with well over the average amount of tastings you get in Napa and Sonoma. And their bottle prices are superbly priced - I noticed the prices were on average $12-15. Not bad at all! My friends and I scooped up quite a few bottles to take home. I will definitely spread the word about this winery and will be back soon!

this is definitely a great winery for sure. my dad has never liked wine that much until he tried…read morecartlidge & browne and he was hooked. for this to happen i know that they are doing some really great things here. he was at a dinner in oregon and he had the 2007 sauvignon blanc and that was it. this wine was the only thing he talked about for months. on our way back from the napa valley we stopped in to track down this famous wine my dad had tried. we got the directions and luckily found this place really fast. it's not what you might expect when you think of wineries so make sure you get directions. it's located in an office building surrounded by warehouses and trucks. once we found it there was plenty of parking right in front. right as we stepped in we were greeted by lynae and asked how we could be helped. my dad told her about how he came across their wine and if he could get some of this wine. it turns out they were all sold out and it looks like there will be no more as the 2008 is coming out. she poured us several samples of other wines they offered at no charge and they were all very good. lynae was very personable and friendly and made us feel so very welcome. she took down our info so we could be updated about future wines and we were on our way. the best overall experience for us was seeing that we already had an email from the winery when we got home. it was from lynae and she thanked us for coming in and she would inform us on the arrival of the 2008. what really blew us away was that she went out of her way to check with their sales analyst to find there were two locations near us that still carried the hard to find 2007 sauvignon blanc. she also stated that she would keep an eye out for other bay area locations that would pop up on the radar. i just can't believe how friendly and helpful she was with us and to do that for us show us they really care. lynae is very good at what she does and be sure to ask for her when you visit this very underrated winery.

We loved it so much we became wine members. Although we are no longer wine members, I highly recommend Marimar Estate! It has a friendly, family atmosphere that makes you feel so welcomed each time you visit. From relaxing in on the patio on a warm day to chilling in the main hall, it's definitely worth a visit. We actually got engaged at Marimar Estate and the team was so incredible in helping my fiance make it happen. We even flew a bottle of 2023 Godello (the year we got engaged) with us to Hawaii so we could drink that during our wedding toasts.

We followed the little hosts (dogs) up the road to where they had set up the tent for the barrel tasting. It was rainy and cold but there were heaters to keep us warm. The barrel tasting of pinot noirs were pretty good. After that we went into the tasting room and tried the current pinot noirs. So good! We bought a few bottles to go.

We stopped in without a reservation for a tasting right as they were opening and were warmly greeted by Stacey who led our tasting. We tasted through the menu of 5 wines and even got some additional off menu pours, one of which we ended up bringing home with us. Stacey was full of knowledge about the wines, vines, and history of the vineyard. The tasting was made extra interesting/fun by the comparison of some of the wines in different glasses, at different aeration levels, and even one with chocolate. The tasting room had a very bright, light, and unpretentious feel to it. After going through the tasting we ended up leaving with 3 bottles of wine, one white and two reds, one of which was a pinot noir which is what they're known for. Highly recommend tasting here and would absolutely plan to come back next time I find myself in Guerneville!

My dad decided to grab the other two bottles above. Since we didn't really have lunch and were heading to an early dinner, we ordered the snacks above. The lodging was pretty simple -- not exactly "luxury" -- but was fine for a couple nights. I really enjoyed the wines here - especially the chardonnays. It's hard to not like the wines from Russian River! We recommend this winery in support of small vintners instead of large corporations. Nice spot, I hope Cecilia and the team do well!
