I had an appointment for a pedicure. The technician who was supposed to do my nails was supposedly late. A half an hour later the technician still had not shown up. In the meantime there were 2 technicians who were idle and could have at least started my pedicure. When, after a half an hour, the technician had not shown up, they had another technician do my pedicure. I've been getting pedicures for many years and I have to say this was the worst pedicure I have ever received. Even though they didn't even have to do a polish change they spent about 10 minutes on the pedicure. I'll never be back. read more

Tom and the older lady were truly Amazing !! They did a wonderful job.. the older lady did my pedicure first and it wasn't rushed she took her time and really made me feel relaxed and comfortable the entire time ! Tom did my nails, they came out exactly the way I wanted them too ..he truly did an awesome job!! I am recommending them to everyone I possibly know!! They were so accommodating and able to fit me in last minute! I needed a whole new acrylic set and my service only took about an hour, I was so pleasantly surprised with that! I believe the tech who helped me that day was named Sam, he is great! My French ombré came out beautifully and he kept checking in after each step to make sure I was happy. My lower eyebrow is cut in several areas from the aggressive threading I just endured. I've been threading my eyebrows for over 10 years and I've had a cut once or twice but this is just excessive and negligent. I have a party in two days- this is unacceptable and I'm in pain. I showed the owner the cuts and she still charged me. Said next time hold it tighter... seriously???? Tried once for Regular Gel manicure and probably got a new guy because he really tried and took twice as long as my regular guy, my nails starting chipping on 3 day!!! My friend always gets her nails done and they look beautiful. But when I went, I went to Jocelyn and they came out terrible.. they are crooked,l and flared. I've been coming here for months now. First off the service is always very good. Lisa (the owner) is so sweet, always attends to the customer. However, my favorite nail tech for gel mani's ($22) is Hannah, she does everything to perfection. But for pedi's ($18) the older woman (Jenny) is my fave, she takes her time and the sweetest little thing. Overall most of my experiences here are great. Just try to come between the hours of opening (9:30) to around 12. Once 1 o clock hits, they become hit with rushes upon rushes. The wait can be long at times! However It is worth it!! read more

I've been going to this nail salon for about 9 years and i have nothing but good things to say about it. They are so welcoming and nice. They have a really good following, when i sit and wait for my turn i see how they interact with their clients and they have a good relationship with all of them. So I needed a very last minute mani/pedi before leaving for my flight so I figured to check yelp for some good places near me with the best reviews. I found this place and I figured why not since the prices are decent. When I walked in, I made sure to ask how long it would take for me to get seated for a mani pedi. The man told me that they can seat me right as I pick my polish. There wasn't much selection and most of the Essie and Opi polishes are already old. Regardless, I didn't mind all that much since I just needed my nails to last a week. When I sat down, they didn't wash the tub and just threw in one of those blue chlorine tablets. I didn't realize that it was chlorine until the hot water started to smell like a hot pool. I sat there soaking my feet for a solid 20 minutes until someone finally came up to me. Everything was going fine until he took out the tools he would be using. They were old and disgusting and were just used on the lady next to me. I hoped through out the entire time that the process would have an up side but it really didn't. A child could have painted my nails better than the people there. Yes the reviews are true that these people are nice, but I came there to get my nails done. In addition, just when I thought it can't get any worse they charged me $36 for a mani pedi when it clearly said $26. I thought I was the crazy one, but once I mentioned that the price is $26 and I gave them a $40, they quickly pulled out the $10 that they owed me and laughed. The reviews are right, they are nice and they will give you plenty of attention if you are a regular. But if you're a new person, especially a young girl, they assume they can just quickly throw some polish on you and you'll be happy. Definitely never coming back. read more

I stood by the front counter for about 5 mins. Not one woman looked up to greet me. A man was standing outside when I walked in. He stood outside after I walked in, so I didn't think he worked there. Then he walks in and walks right past me and heads straight to the back of the salon. He didn't say hi but he saw me standing there. After witnessing that, I got so frustrated I walked out. So I still haven't found the perfect nail salon I would wanna go to all the time, every time I find a good nail tech they end up leaving, what a bummer! I came here from seeing reviews from friends friends and they would show the type of work they would do and even pictures of how fab there nails come out and I had to try this place out. You would not find it unless you really look cause its like squished in between other stores, I made an appt. with Lisa because I hear she's wonderful and she's really nice actually and the owner of the place. I got my pedicure done by a girl named Stephanie and she was really good too! I really liked it, I did me a nice french gel manicure which I LOVE came out so dope and a french pedicure and it all cost me $50 which is def. worth it! I def. will be coming back here soon, the ladies who work here are super friendly and nice and like to get to know you and I enjoyed that. I def. recommend this place to any girl who wants fab nails that include sparkle, bling, patterns and nice designs. read more

The best salon by far. I've been to a lot of different ones all over NYC. Lisa goes beyond the regular mani/pedi while still charging only $24 for both. Let me just say Sam is the best. This place is really clean and all of the staff are very friendly. I have gone to San both times that I've done my eyelashes extensions and I do not have any complaints. The lashes have lasted up to 4 weeks for me, not saying that some don't fall off because they do. But both times I still had most of the lashes by week 3. I'm highly recommend!! read more
