I've done laser and microdermabrasion in the past with very little to no results. But after doing some research on melasma there isn't a permanent solution for it. These treatments temporarily fix the problem but once exposed to the sun without the proper protection the hyper pigmentation comes back again. Anyway, to make my story short after Liana's first microdermabrasion treatment and the creams she used I noticed a lighter and smoother skin and complexion. She took before and after pictures to track the progress as I plan to continue with the treatment for about 4 more times. I know what a properly done gel manicure should look like, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I had been growing my natural nails out and specifically told the technician that I wanted them only a little shorter with a skinny almond shape. Instead, she cut my nails extremely short--so short that there was barely any length left and an almond shape was no longer possible. When I questioned what she was doing, she told me she could fix it with builder gel. The builder gel was applied extremely thick. I had to ask her to make it thinner, but even after that, the nails still looked bulky and poorly structured. There was little attention to the apex, cuticle area, or overall shape. One hand ended up round while the other was almond, and she did not correct them to match as I requested. The gel polish application was also messy, and within only a few hours the gel was already soft and peeling. When I got home, my nails were hurting and I was very unhappy with the result, so I called the salon. The owner, Mia, told me to come back the next day and said they would fix them. Unfortunately, when I returned, they didn't want to spend the time to fix everything properly. She would only offer a refund if I allowed them to remove everything I was not comfortable having everything removed that day because one hand had been cut so short and filed so narrow that I barely had any nail left so I needed them to fix their work. The owner acknowledged that the technician had messed up and explained that I had only been charged $35 instead of the original $75 because of the issue.( didn't charge me for the builder gel).However, she suggested I come back in a week or two, originally offered 10 percent off my next visit. I reiterated I want a refund and she said max offer 50% off, but I would still have to pay for additional builder gel to repair a problem that resulted from the original service due to the technician inability to understand and skillset. What is most frustrating is that I went in with long, healthy natural nails and left with extremely short, painful, uneven nails that did not resemble what I requested. I'm very disappointed because I used to have a good experience here and trusted this salon with my nails. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend Green Hill Nails and would encourage others to carefully consider their options before booking.

Once I arrived, Alice checked on my eyebrows and had me sign some paperwork. There was aftercare instructions in the back so make sure you take pictures of it! (Alice will let you know to take pics of it as well) Once I sat on the procedure chair, she went through my options. Since I had redness due to the removal, she was afraid it would show if she added just the microblading hair strokes. She suggested I do the combo which entails shading along with the hair strokes. Of course there was an additional cost but I really didn't want to have my eyebrows fixed again for future purposes so I went ahead and opted for the combo. Once I laid down, Alice walked me through the entire eyebrow drawing procedure and asked me what kind of eyebrow shape I was looking for. I was bored of my straight brows so I wanted more of an arch but not too much of an arch. She drew and perfected my eyebrows countless of times in order to get the right and perfect style. She also made sure my eyebrows were aligned and symmetrical. All in all, the procedure was entirely painless and very easygoing and smooth. Recently, I tried a lash lift and tint with a new technician, and the results were extremely disappointing--no visible lift, no tint, absolutely no difference. When I complained, she offered to redo the service but then completely ignored my messages when I tried to schedule. Mistakes happen, but ignoring a loyal customer is unacceptable. Extremely poor customer service, unprofessional behavior, and zero accountability. You just lost a loyal customer. I will not be returning or recommending this place.
