I like the brand, but this Einstein Bros Bagel shop was a disappointment today. First time at this location and maybe my last. The coffee is fine. Caramel Macchiato and it's just as I expected, nice job. I also ordered the Classic Egg sandwich, plain bagel with bacon and cheddar. It was handed to me on a basket, and the top of one half had already fallen off and pieces of bacon were scattered as well. The eggs were lukewarm and the bacon was refrigerator cold! The cheese was colder. They were all out of plain bagels so I changed to a honey wheat. It wasn't toasted right, it was chewy. Not a good breakfast sandwich at all. I'm giving 3 stars, but if rating just the bagel without the coffee, it would be only one star. read more

Einstein has been a place I wanted to try, finally had the opportunity. Ordered a bacon and egg bagel sandwich. Wasn't to bad, wished the bacon was more crispier. But other then that it was fine. Want to take the wife their and check it out more to see what they have to offer. read more

Went there for breakfast sandwiches and coffees. Sandwich les were alright. The sides of the hash browns tasted a bit over cooked. The coffee, though, is where this fell apart. I ordered a vanilla latte and my wife a caramel. The crew did not mark the coffees and neither my wife or I were able to determine which latte was which. Not only did they smell the same, they tasted the same. I will give them another try, for sure, but I hope my next experience is better. read more

AMAZED that Surprise would finally catch up with the rest of the world and open up Einstein Bagels here!! It so nice and clean. I haven't seen any decline at Paradise Bakery just over the road, however not many people know these awesome guys are here. Once that happens, hold onto your bagels and lox! My only worry is that the little mom and pop bagel / deli literally 50 yards away will feel the pinch and close. (Next to Starbucks across from Bank of America) All and all. We ordered an egg sandwich and my husband's sandwich was cold, the bagels were all sliced super unevenly resulting in one burned side and the other barely toasted, our lattes were some of the worse we ever had. The pretzel bagel was good but the avocado was brown. I don't think we will be back to this location. We love Einstein's but this was a serious dip In the quality we were used to. read more

Our family group of 4 stopped in for lunch over Thanksgiving weekend. Food was fresh and nicely prepared, though service was a bit slow, even though it was a very quiet time with fewer than 10 customers seated. It's a low-key place and seemed very clean. read more

This is the most friendly bagel shop in the valley. It is clean and everyone working there is more than willing to help you. The manager is a real hands on person and gets right in to help there customers. The product, bagels, are fresh and the best you can get and the variety is excellent. I just got my order, I ordered turkey sausage, cheese and an egg on a plain bagel.. what I got was egg and bacon. I can't eat bacon, I'm on my way to work so can't go back.. and the bagel is burnt. It's not like they were busy..it's 10:30 in the morning. I don't understand how they can get a simple order wrong. Not only I'm hungry now I'm angry too. Just ruined my morning. Food is always excellent, but not having tomatoes by noon is unacceptable; that is poor management. They are right next to Walmart...if you're running low on an ingredient that is on almost every sandwich, go buy it! Spending almost $60 for lunch, I shouldn't have to settle for no tomatoes on 4/5 sandwiches, one wrong drink, 1 wrong sandwich and 2 forks for 4 side dishes. I had to go back into the restaurant...twice. No apology or acknowledgement. I LOVE their food, but won't be spending my money at this location again. The one star is purely for the somewhat friendliness of the staff. Otherwise I have spent my last $8 at this location. I've been into this location 6 times in the last 3 weeks. I like bagels. I get the same thing every time. Applewood Bacon & Cheddar on 6 cheese. ADD PLAIN SHMEAR. The best part is my sandwich is always good, I just NEVER get my shmear. It's the darnedest thing. I went through the drive thru today and surprise surprise, no shmear. Unbuckled my 18 month old to go in and complain. Both managers looked at me with my bag and receipt in hand standing in line and left their employee to help me. I work in the food industry, it is obvious when someone is upset over the service they've been given. To walk away is less than respectable. read more

Introduction- I liked the service and the food, here is why! PROS- Great staff, they literally cater to your desire of food. I say, No dairy on my Itallian Panini. They give it with no cheese, extra pesto, just the way I like it!. My grandma loves the pre-packaged salads. Last Time I was there, She ordered a club salad and a soda. I ordered a custom itallian chicken Panini, with a Strawberry lemonade. Food was great. For desert we split an apple cinnamon bagel with blueberry schmear. It was good. We will be coming back again! CONS- Make the salads have packaged toppings, what if someone was allergic to nuts or lactose intolerant, or maybe vegan? Please don't spread plain schmear on the bagel, when the person has already purchased a little tub of it, it eliminates the purpose, doesn't it? Heat up the chili some more. Overall- Great store for casual-formal breakfasts and lunches. Adapts to ALL tastes. I would, however recommend it to someone who likes EVERYTHING, though. read more

Disgusting Bagels! The bagels were super stale and the incredibly expensive. A dozen bagels were too expensive for these kind of stale ones. Drive-thru was terribly slow and when they got my order wrong, and I corrected them... they made a big fuss about it. ; Went to another Bagel Shop near by.... Love the fact that I can go to einsteins in surprise now. I used to go to the other bagel shop but got tired of dealing with the grump at the register. This place is brand new and has a drive up which is neat. Lots of different things on the menu to enjoy and most are pretty good. I don't do the lunch items though so I can't comment on those. read more

I usually come here once a week because they open so early and I can grab it on my way to work. Always order the asiago bagel toasted with cream cheese and tomatoes. Todays was a major disappointment. The bagel was burned, very little cream cheese and a slice of tomato that was so thin you could read the newspaper through it. It also took over 10 minutes to get it even though there were 4 people behind the counter just standing around. There is another bagel place in this same shopping center and Einsteins needs to step up their game otherwise its off to the other bagel place I go. read more

Went through the drive thru, service was mediocre. Girl at the window seemed annoyed to be working. I ordered an egg cheese & bacon bagel for my son & I. My sons bagel was a 1 egg bagel & mine was suppose to be a 2 egg bagel. Got my food & drove off. Went to hand my son his bagel and it was cold. Both of our bagels were cold & not only that. When I got home I noticed that my bagel was also a 1 egg bagel when I had been charged for a 2 egg bagel. Disappointed. read more

I was SO excited to hear that Einstein opened up by my work. Their locations are few and far between. My 1st visit I went in with a Coworker and we had 8 orders. We were excepting a long wait and were sure because of how many orders we had, there would be a few mix ups since they just opened........ We were pleasantly surprised!! The staff was VERY friendly, organized, and you could see they were all working as a team. Felt very welcomed, even though it was just the two of us coming in with 8 orders. Do not try the napa chicken bagel,should be called nappy chicken. They don't give give a description of what is on the bagels. Maybe I should of asked but it's my opinion that anything named prestigiously napa chicken should at least taste ok..I thought the pairing of an overly sweet Caramel sauce,onions and brie cheese was not at all tasty and prohibited my husband and I from finishing our 16.00 lunch. read more

Good food and good coffee, IF you actually get what your ordered. At least 50% of the time they get my order wrong. Sometimes it's as simple as not double toasting when I requested it but other times it's the wrong sandwich completely. Not sure how they can make so many mistakes consistently. read more

It is 10:22 in the morning and they are almost sold out of a majority of their bagels. They had plain and sesame seed bagels. I also overheard that they were out eggs. I am not sure who does their planning, but they may want to find someone else for that. I asked if they were going to make any fresh bagels and I was told it would be about fifteen minutes if I wanted to wait. Since there isn't another Einstein Brother's Bagel anywhere close I would have to. Of course the bagels were good after getting them. I would not have waited if they weren't worth the wait. Wanted to try this place for the first time. Finally tried it and they have horrible customer service. The lady at the drive through window was rude and not real helpful. Nobody else was there and we had to wait at the window for over 10 mins for 3 bagels. I looked inside and everyone was just standing around talking. Plus they must have the best butter because it's 60 cents more. Never going back!!! read more

This location just seems to always miss the mark. Easy stuff to get right, but they just lack that final quality control step. Usually a side is missing, or no utensils and napkins in the drive through, or under- toasted. Little things like that, but they leave a lasting impression (especially when you are in dire need of a fork or napkin in the car). read more

I love there food but I pulled up to the window she looked at me with her hand out like give me the money to pay when she didn't greet or say payment. I have her the card she swiped it shoved the bag of food, my ice coffee and my card all at the same time and gave me a look like here now leave. I finally decided to try this Einstein Bros Bagels and I was impress on the service and the food. First time there I didn't know the steps to order and pay but they walked me thru it and I been going back several times. All of the employees are friendly and very helpful. It is also a nice place to have a meal. I will be back and bring others. read more

My family and I love Einstein Bagels. We have been going to the arrowhead location forever and love it. When we found out they were opening a location in Surprise we were thrilled since we live in Surprise. Unfortunately the store employees are extremely unorganized. They are always out of everything and they never ever have gotten our order right. We hoped they would get better in time but in fact they have gotten worse. The desperately need a strong manager to run things. We will be going back to the arrowhead location. read more
