We walked over around 9/10pm and the doors were locked up, but luckily we found the window. We saw someone making fresh donuts while we viewed the menu. The lady who opened up the window was friendly and explained some of their options and what was available (it was late, so they were out of some donuts). I really liked the old fashioned and we enjoyed the jelly filled, gator and twist. The raised bars were doughy and I like mine a little more light. Overall, the donuts here are solid and the service was friendly. We will be back when in the area.

I've worked in all kinds of restaurants and have eaten at even more, so I'm going to offer unsolicited advice because you do need "help" after all. First, you're not Subway, nor should you want to be. Offering a bunch of bread, only to be out of half of them is not a good look, offer one exceptional, signature roll. Second, where and how to place an order is very disjointed. Having customers awkwardly pile into the crowded corridor does not make sense. Customers should walk in and instantly see your menu and place the order with the person facing them (service needs A LOT of work, start by at least greeting customers as they walk in, even if it's just to say "we'll be right with you!"), and if customers can't see the ingredients or ingredients/toppings aren't listed on the menu then don't give them options or ask questions after they've placed their order, make the sandwich as it's advertised for signature sandwiches. Lastly, y'all should really invest into some sidewalk signage, the only storefront sign I saw was barely visible because of a tree, but we are at Home Depot everyday around lunchtime and don't want fast food or the sorry excuse for Mexican food across the way, so y'all are a nice option to have. To start with, this is not about the employees or the food. Both of those are consistently good…read more This is about the owner of the store. I'm not sure if she's a new owner or what, but I've never seen something like this from management until this past year or so. When I was waiting in line today, she apparently saw a piece of meat or something that the girl on the meat slicer dropped, and berated her right in front of everyone in the store. It was uncomfortable for everyone. All of us customers and the other employees just watching, that poor girl getting yelled at in front of everyone, it was just terrible. After that the owner just grabbed her things and stormed out, too. Like a toddler storming off to another room after throwing a tantrum. Super unprofessional and immature. Honestly I don't know how this woman still has any employees. God knows I wouldn't work for her. This isn't the first time I've seen something like this either. I've seen her yell at at least one other person, and I've heard her make several rude comments either at or about other employees.

Celeste was one of the servers we had, and unfortunately that experience reflected the same issues. There was also another server on a different visit whose name I can't recall, but the experience was very similar. There have been multiple visits where it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers, and basic things like check-ins or timely service were lacking. It's frustrating because it takes away from what should be an amazing overall experience. To be fair, it does seem like there are some good servers there, but unfortunately we always seem to end up with the ones that provide a poor experience. That said, I'm still giving this place 5 stars because the food truly carries the experience. It keeps me coming back, and I really want to continue supporting this restaurant.
