My Dad loves his blueberry bagels!! After his Dr appointment nearby, we go over there to pick up his fave bagels! I get to choose some too. lol Besides the blueberry bagels, I choose the jalapeno and cheese bagels. The bagels are super soft inside and fresh tasting. They are good even without heating them up!

Ordered ahead on the app and they lost my order. I waited a little bit after the time it said the order would be ready just to make sure they weren't just running late because they were busy. Once I was able to talk to someone, they didn't have a record of my order. It was just a bummer since I was in a little bit of a rush.

11 Baker's Dozen

I arrived five minutes early and went to the cashier to pick up my pre-ordered 11 Baker's Dozen bagels. I usually order a large quantity as a snack for church members, and when I pick them up, the staff usually goes to the manager to ask about my order. The cashier only checked the order monitor and told me to wait because my order wasn't ready yet. I went back to the cashier at 9:35 a.m. and asked her to confirm my order. However, my order was already ready for me to pick up, and the manager told her to take it. I was embarrassed by the cashier's carelessness and inaction. And since it was a lot of bagels, I asked her for an Einstein paper shopping bag to carry them to my car. She said she didn't have one, so I ended up borrowing a store cart. This is because the staff usually loads the bagels onto the cart and brings them to my car. She said there were no carts, so she reluctantly went back to the manager, who brought me a cart and placed six boxes of bagels on it. She told me she couldn't fit all the bagels on the cart and told me to come back and load the remaining five. I went back to her and asked for five, but she only gave me four, saying those were all I had ordered. I told her I needed one more, and she turned around and gave me the one she had left. This was my first experience at this store, and I wasted almost half an hour. Every time I asked her, she wouldn't answer right away and made me wait. I wish your company would pay more attention to the customer service of its employees who order large quantities of bagels.

Texas egg sandwich: with brisket and eggs and cheese.

This was my first time at Einstein's bagel. I came for a free birthday sandwich. I was so blown away with how delicious it was. I'm reminded how much I love bagel egg sandwiches. The bagel was toasted to perfection. And the brisket in the sandwich was not overly salty, as I originally thought it might be. The eggs were tender and cooked perfectly. If only there were a piece of lettuce and tomato in the sandwich it would have been perfect. My only complaint was that they were out of the hazelnut coffee. However, the staff immediately made a pot when I told her it was empty. I just didn't want to wait for it. Needless to say, I'll be back soon.

Breakfast bagel, double egg, on everything

They're doing better now, after the covid shuffle. No inside seating, no soda machines, only bottled drinks. The selection of bagels was better this time. And my free birthday breakfast sandwich was delicious. You need to buy something, so I bought a chocolate chip cookie to share with my friend. The $2 cookie was good, and much cheaper than one at Panera!

This is a very popular bagel place. On the weekend expect a line. However, everyone is happy and friendly and ready to assist. I had a nova lox bagel on an everything bagel and it was delicious. They have a nice selection of bagels such as pretzel and jalapeno cheese. They also have a lot of sandwich bagels.

Since I was online, I figured I'd avoid temptation at the bakery and also ordered a banana bread, garlic sourdough loaf, pate and oatmeal raisin cookie. Website and Yelp aren't currently showing the correct hours because they're still working back into having dinners. Both sites showed closed at 2, so gave them a call. Yes, they're open. Nice quiet parking lot with lots of parking. Customer service was very friendly and my bags were ready to go. The beef was nice and hot along with the pasta. On my long drive home (to Valley Center), couldn't resist and tried the oatmeal cookie first. It was delicious - probably best cookie i've had ever. Flavorful, nice and moist. The garlic sourdough loaf was made with roasted garlic. Some of the best bread I've ever tasted. That with the chicken liver, pork & pistachio pate (when I got home) was truly delicious. On to the main course. The pasta was nice and al dente. Roasted vegs were yummy and the garlic sauce was delicious. The beef was nice and tender and well seasoned. Generous portions of both - enough for leftovers. Definitely keeping an eye on this place - It's a splurge every now and then, but life is short. Sorry for no photos, hunger took over. :)

The crowd of people was what you would expect for 10 am on a Saturday but there was virtually no wait. A lot of people make phone and online orders so you see the doors to the entrance opening and closing a lot around lunch. There are also tables outside of the restaurant under a canopy like cover. You can find a table after you pick up your food. Or you can order at your table and someone will serve it to you. I got a strawberry eclaire and a banana creme brulee. I also ordered a cubano... bc you know. I loooovvve cubanos. I got into it when I watched Dexter when it first came out. Dexter loved cubanos! The eclaire was fantastic. The custard was good and the whip cream was delicious! This was a very nice eclaire. The banana creme brulee was good, just different than what i was used to. It tasted cakey. Still good though. My cubano was pretty good too. I loved that it was on a panini flat bread and toasted perfectly. The pork was bland but the ham made up for that. The cheese was great in the sandwich and overall this sandwich was good, not bad at all. The fries it came with was pretty good also. Its a bit pricey but I think the quality and taste makes up for it. The cashier was nice and helpful. By the time lunch was about over, maybe around 2pm, it wasnt as busy at all. Id definitely come again!
