OMG, so slow. I walked in to the store and was second in line. I ordered 2 bagels, just like the people in front of me. It took over 15 minutes to receive my order. I would have ordered online but it did not give me the option of "no tomato" on my sandwich. Also the bagel was burnt. We need more bagel options in the Menifee/Perris area! The food is GREAT! Love the bagels. There is so much potential this business could have if they replaced their employees or retrained them. They're understaffed and lazy. The way they talk to customers just lacks any energy. Based on their work ethic it seems like they don't like their job at all. They could do a lot better with the staff. The wait is horrible. 45 minutes wait plus an additional 15 min min wait because they ran out of jalapeño cheddar. We have been here for over 30 minutes and they have run out of everything since my 1/2 dozen was ordered. I even asked them to give me a substitute and at least 10 more minutes have passed- and they have still not put the two bagels in the bag, then they said they ran out of them substitutes we asked for. Enough was enough so I asked for a refund, now they cannot even figure out how to give me a refund. This is the worst team I have ever seen!! We have been here since 10:55 and it is now 11:39. When they were trying to give me a refund, they had to call a manager to process it because there was no management in the shop whatsoever. Everything that they said could be substituted ran out before we got to the front. It's obvious that the inventory system that's being used does not track the bagels in real time so as customers are going up to get their orders that they already paid for their finding out that they ran out of everything they ordered we seen multiple other customers with the same problem. And then directly before I asked for a refund, I noticed that the plain bagel that I ordered was not even on the receipt so they couldn't get the order straight. The managers of this business need to do something, as far as we're concerned, we'd love the food, but we will never ever go there again! My first time coming here. My Bagel was pretty good, crunchy and the cream cheese was not overpowering. In the other hand the service was not as good the young lady that took my order look bothered by my present. As a professional cook I appreciate when locations are clean, and the employees looked well put together, I would recommend this ladies to keep their hair in a nice tight ponytail or something to keep unpleasant hair out of peoples food. read more

Place said they open at 6 AM on the window but the guy just ignored me and continued to setup his area at 6:40. You need some new workers that actually care about their job. Einsteins in Pomona used to have forty people in line and they would have your food ready in 5 minutes. Meanwhile this place takes 40 minutes if there is five people in front of you. Was so happy to see a Einstein open up in Perris but was definitely disappointed on the staff and their wait time. I was told there was a 30-45 min wait after ordering which I can understand but watching the staff take almost 10 minutes to write a sign instead of making orders was just upsetting. To be a new location, I definitely expect better service. I've visited this location a few times and I must say, today will most likely be my last visit. I just ordered a maple house breakfast sandwich, and specifically stated "substitute the pork for sausage," only to get home and there's pork on my sandwich. I absolutely DO NOT eat pork. This is the second time that these people have put pork on my sandwich after I ordered turkey instead. To make matters worse, they have no telephone number for me to call and speak with a manager, so this is yet another waste of $10. Not to mention, the customer service is not that great. Employees aren't capable of accessing customer's information for online orders. I placed an order online and when I got here the order wasn't ready. When we finally were acknowledged by the employees we were told by them that they were out of the bagels and it would be an additional 15 minutes until they were ready. No apologies from them, just an "it's the manager who has access" kind of response. Customer service is lacking, at least with the online orders. I suggest either updating your online ordering so that things like this don't happen in the future. read more

I think the manger needs to pay attention to their scheduling. How are you only going to have two people working with a big morning rush on Saturday?? Food is always good, but customer service isn't good at all. I am going to guess that they are all new to the workforce and is still learning how to talk and greet customers. My first time here. I walked in no greeting just stares of the employees with no acknowledgement. I waited about 10 mins before someone asked "have you been helped?" with a rude attitude. Nobody had asked before hand and they knew, is it too much to acknowledge potential customers and communicate. Bagels are hard and dry. First time customer and last time customer. They appeared to be several days old.

We just went here and when we went there were 2 people behind counter and neither 1 of them acknowledged us. We waited till they were finished with there conversation, then one of them came over and asked what we wanted,so I said I wanted the maple cinnamon bagel she said do you want it heated and cut, I said no. I went next door and my husband ordered what he wanted got home and what did I find they cut and heated my bagel. Then my husband said they told him sorry but he thought they meant sorry for the wait. So needless to say it will end up in the trash because I was going to have it in the a.m. but once it's heated it will be hard tomorrow. I have lived in Perris for over 25 years and I am always excited to see new businesses come into the city. However, I was highly disappointed in the service at Einstein. A day after their grand opening and the workers seemed burnt out, no energy, not welcoming, nor helpful even after being told they had "First Timers" to an Einstein restaurant. I've been in Customer Service for over 17 years and have my own business. I know how important it is to make customers feel valued and welcome. The pressure for the team to strive for a welcoming ambiance is crucial, especially being next door to a Star bucks who sales similar items with a system with great customer service. I am rooting for the team to turn it around and survive. Food was ok, but I had a basic plain bagel with honey almond shmear. I felt rushed ordering, even though it was only 3 customers who had already ordered before me. Willing to give them another try for something more like a bagel sandwich.
