After decades of life in New York City, the epicenter of bagel making, I was in search of good bagels when I retired to New Hampshire. I tried a number of places including the Einstein chain (yes a chain restaurant). If you've never had good bagels you might like Einsteins. If you know what the texture and taste of good bagel should be, your first experience of Einsteins will be your last. Definitely pass this one up. read more

If you sell Asiago bagels AND Sun-dried Tomato Cream Cheese I will probably become a well-known patron of your establishment. That being said, Panera no longer has the delicious bagel schmear ( :( ) and I have had to resort to hoping they might reconsider having discontinued the product. Until now. I drove up from Boston this morning, hadn't had breakfast, and figured I'd take a stab to see if Einstein's not only had the Sun-dried Tomato Cream Cheese my roommate had purchased the other day, but also Asiago bagels. When combined, they create a party in my mouth. And, Einstein's does in fact carry them! 1/2 a dozen bagels will run you just over $5. I can't even remember what the cream cheese cost, but I don't think it could've been much since my total ended up being $12.06 with 6 bagels, 1 tub o' cream cheese, and a egg, bacon, and cheddar breakfast sandwich. The staff were quiet and nice, but the layout of how to get your stuff is kind of chaotic. You try to follow what appears to be the natural flow of people as the layout would imply, but no. You instead have to question where you're supposed to stand: with the dude who's making your sandwich? or at the register with the lady who knows what you've ordered and already have half of that order so... should you go to her and have her ring you out? I got out of there in one piece, so as long as they continue to have my Sun-dried Tomato Cream Cheese, I'll keep stopping by. read more

I live 10 minutes down the road and work 5 minutes from Einstein's. They are amazing and have really good food! The croissant deluxe and chocolate chip bagels are delightful! Definitely worth checking out! read more

Wow! These bagels are great! I am very impressed. From someone who has had bagels in the city (New York City, what else?) I can say that these come very close. I wish there was an Einstein closer to my house--I would be Yelp's "Duke" of Einstein. I don't really think you can get a bad bagel product here. Get some! read more

Food is what you'd expect from the chain, atmosphere is pretty clean. The bagels are OK, and I just moved here from NY so they'll suffice. The service is what really turned me off to the place; the staff were very abrupt, and on multiple occasions just said "yeah?" When I came in as if they had no idea why I was there! They could possibly use some customer service training, and maybe a cup of coffee in the morning. read more

Moved to Concord more than 6 months ago and FINALLY made it here with the husband for a quick breakfast together. I thought it'd be just another bagel shop. Man, was I wrong. I must have stood in front of that menu board for about 20 minutes. Everything sounded so good. The bagel shmears, the sandwiches, the coffees, etc. I finally settled on The Santa Fe sandwich. It was spicier than I anticipated so I couldn't finish the whole thing as my lips were burning but it was SO good! Husband got the Applewood Bacon and Cheddar sandwich. He was very pleased. But even as we were eating we kept staring at that board and second guessing our decisions! Not because we were unhappy but because everything still looked/sounded SO good! We even eyed the shmears in the deli case before we left, wondering if we should purchase some! Only downside I would say is the specialty coffees. It was too sweet for me (I believe I ordered something like a Pumpkin Chai). Prices were a bit high but I'd say it's worth it in the long run. Sure beats Dunks or McDonalds! read more

Our visit to this location started off on a bad note. My boyfriend is lactose intolerant and asked one of the staff if they could make a breakfast sandwich without cheese for him. This staff rolled her eyes, sighed and said "okay," as if it would be a great inconvenience to her. That said, we did end up having a decent breakfast. The service was prompt. The bagels were a little on the smaller side, but they were fresh and tasty. We were in and out and back on the road quickly. Maybe this person was having a bad day, but there's no reason to be rude to a customer for something they can't control. read more

Honestly I wanted to give this more than a one star because the food was amazing but I cannot get over the service. It was beyond terrible. I originally took my parents there to show him this cute little spot that I found when I was out and about one time. We go in and it's clearly chaos not even organized chaos. We had a really sweet young lady take our order, although you can clearly tell she was not trained properly. She was very nervous and asked us multiple times what we wanted which I have no problem letting her know. She put a lot of thought into making our food right in front of us and then as we were about to check out we were confronted by the general manager who had such a snippy attitude. I felt genuinely awful for whoever worked under her. We went to go check out with her and she immediately asked me if I had one or two eggs on my sandwich and I ordered it "as is" so I wasn't sure and she turned to the girl making my sandwich and pointed at both of us and said " you two need to figure this out yourselves" which I thought was very unprofessional the way it was directed at us with fingers pointed. We then figured out the egg situation and she was going to cash out my parents when she then asked my mom if she had a rewards program. This being my parents first time here they did not so my mom told the lady no and she CLICKED HER TONGUE and said "okay cool" and rushed to check us out. Honestly I would've really liked to hear about the rewards program but we just wanted to leave at that point. And I'm not done yet. I guess there was an order almost identical to my order and when they call orders orders they just call out what the person had ordered. They don't call out the ticket number or the name associated with the food order so I went to pick up a bag that was in fact not my food (my bad) and I asked why one sandwich was missing and the girl looked confused and the manager came over and proceeded to yell at the both of us again. I understand that it was my fault for grabbing the bag that was not mine but she proceeded to yell at the girl bagging up orders and yelled at me "WHO CALLED OUT THE ORDER THE YOU". The girl calmly brings over my food and apologizes and we then leave. I really cannot express how disappointing this treatment was especially coming from the general manager. I really hope corporate finds this review and decides to mic her up or do some undercover boss type stuff because this was honestly the worst service I've ever received. Left feeling very attacked. Will NOT be coming back under this management. And if any employees see this, YALL ARE DOING FANTASTIC YOU DESERVE BETTER! read more

Not impressed. The service here was awful, the man who took my order was pretty rude and didn't listen to me as I placed my order. He ended up giving me another entire drink that I didn't order and when I tried to correct it he wouldn't fix it. The order took way too long to fill and I was waiting for no real reason. They also REALLY skimp on the cream cheese! It was almost hard to find on my bagel. I basically paid $3 for a piece of bread with nothing on it. Not coming back. read more

The bagels here are tasty, and they come up fairly quickly. My main complaint about this place is that some of the employees are just rude. I had an employee step off on break instead of helping me. Which had be wait more time. I understand breaks are mandatory, but kill the line first. read more

Einstein definitely does not make the bagels here. And no Einstein works there either. The bagel spread is cheap and not enough. The coffee is not up to par. Prices are crazy high for tasteless bagels. And the eggs are pre made almost like they were frozen or something. However the lunch is good, that is why I gave three stars.. Went to store for lunch with my fiance. Entered store and was not greeted until we spoke to the employees about what they had for bread. I asked the guy for a ham and swiss and he acted like he didn't know what that wad and seemed like he didn't he didn't want to help us. There was a women there also and gave little to zero input, even though she knew the guy was not performing well. The guy had to look up how to make a ham and swiss, which is pretty basic... and he talked like he was drunk. The customer service was terrible and will prob never go back again. My girlfriend and I came here to grab a late breakfast and was appalled by the lack of customer service. "Chris" ignored us until his manager came out from the back and greeted us. I told Chris my order and he scoffed at my choice. It wasn't a difficult order by any means. I would understand if I added or took away a few things that the order might be a little more complicated but I still feel it was not enough reason for him to react in such an off putting way. I was driving through Concord up to Laconia to visit a friend in the hospital. He asked me prior to my leaving Massachusetts if I could pick him up a bagel and cream cheese with smoked salmon. I was happy to find Einstein in Concord. I was even happier to find they served such a sandwich. Calvin fixed me up with a sandwich. Because I did not know if my friend wanted onions and tomatoes (which normally is on the sandwich), he packaged it up on the side. What topped things was I asked if they could put some ice in a bag to keep the sandwich chilled as I had another 30 minutes to Laconia. Tom fixed me up with this. Thanks to both of them. These guys were professional and super friendly. I did not taste the sandwich but my friend said it was awesome and it made his day. read more

Nothing remarkable. I though the prices were high and the portions small. The bagels are really nothing special. I stopped in for a bagel breakfast sandwich. No drive-up window. So I had to park and go in. The wait was longer for the food that I am interested waiting. And, the food was nothing special. I really don't understand the whole hook or what they think makes them stand out from their competition. We don't get to Concord too often, but when we do we try to stop at Einstein Brothers Bagels. We love their breakfast and lunch sandwiches, but this time I chose a salad... (I know, who goes to a bagel place for salads!? But I'm cutting back on my bread intake.) The strawberry chicken salad was large, wonderful, and worth the price. I'm even taking half home to enjoy later. Lorry, who created my salad, was wonderful, and I think may have even added a few extra fresh-cut strawberries since I didn't want any croutons. Just started working in Concord, today was my 4th time to this Einstein Bros Bagels. The workers there at always rude especially the older man who I think is the manager or they don't acknowledge you. Today I ordered two large iced mochas, one for me for right now with ice and one with no ice to bring home to my husband after work. I was given a 1 full mocha with ice and another Mocha that was only 1/3 of the way full with no ice. When I asked why the one was only about a 1/3 full I was told it's because I got no ice in that one and "that's what I get" with no ice. Are you kidding me I paid almost $5 for each of those? I will never go here again. It's not worth it and it's a huge ripoff not to mention how pissy they are all the time. read more

First, the service was terrible, the man and women behind the counter were two of the rudest people. The sandwich they made was stale, cold and had no flavor and if I am going to pay $10.00 for an egg and bagel sandwich with a large coffee the service and the food should be at least a somewhat enjoyable experience. To the girl working behind the counter you should not be in a position dealing with the public. And the the dude who made my sandwich, preparing food for the public is not a good fit for you. After eating at a few fine dining restaurants on a recent visit to Concord, have to say that a single bagel breakfast at Einstein Bros Bagels was the meal highlight of my trip! They seemed to be stressed due to how busy it was and just a little short with us when asking us questions.
