Placed a deferred order the night before for a bakers dozen of bagels to be picked up early the next morning. Manager cane and talked to us saying we placed the order wrong snd they threw out the ticket with our order so we had to wait for a long time to get our food. While making it heard the manager say "why don't they just get bagel's at the grocery store". Very rude and disrespectful especially from the management. Rest of the staff was very helpful trying to get the problem resolved but the manager was awful!!!! If you don't want to sell bagels maybe don't work at a bagel store? read more

Nice folks but incompetent on many occasions. They continually give me the wrong sandwich. I get home after picking up my order at their store and happily give my wife her sandwich only to find out, IT'S WRONG AGAIN! No exaggeration, this has happened about 12-15 times over the past year. I finally contacted the home office about it and they refunded me for 4 sandwiches (only). The very next day, it happened again!!!! The District Manager apparently tried to call me but never left a message nor left an email. Basically, he and their company blew me off. Too bad for me huh? BBB complaint filed! The employees at this location at the time of my visit were friendly and courteous. I ordered a new item on their menu called "The All Nighter". It consists of two fresh-cracked eggs, bacon, two slices of American cheese and jalapeño garlic aioli on a fresh-baked cheesy hash brown gourmet bagel and it was humongous both in size and taste. I use the order ahead on the mobile app feature all of the time. They always have my food ready when I go to pick up. The bagels are always fresh and they typically have every flavor in stock. I've never had any issues. On top great food and great service, they have the nicest staff. The staff members make me feel welcome into their store. They are currently not doing dine in, but you can eat outside. The only thing I dislike is that when you use mobile order ahead for iced coffee drinks, they make them too light. The caramel macchiato (yes I know that means milk) is basically an entire glass of milk with a splash of coffee. I wish they'd go lighter on the milk. read more

Their bagels are delicious, when they actually have them. If you are an early bird, you probably have no problems with them running out of bagels. I tried the spinach and artichoke chicken. Grilled chicken breast, roasted artichokes, spinach, mozzarella and asiago cheeses with garlic and herb spread on a spinach Florentine gourmet bagel. Was delicious. The chicken was so juicy and the bagel was fluffy and with the perfect amount of crunch. Ordered a blueberry lemonade. I don't think I will get that in the future. Noticed the ingredients after my purchase, lemon juice from concentrate, natural flavoring, and some other stuff. I prefer fresh squeezed lemonade. If it tasted amazing, I would gladly order it again in the future, but it was like sugar water. read more

Store at 120th im broomfield. I went to this location because it was close than the sheridan location. The cashier was nice but the store itself was filthy. Counters were not wiped at all. The floor needed to be vacuumed or at least swept. The selection of bagels was close to nonexistent. The plain bagel looked like a mini. It was so small. I ordered coffee and had to wait for it to brew. Out of 4 coffee carafes only vanilla hazelnut was available. No milk was available, just individual WARM half & half. Also, this location closes before 2. Hopefully corporate gets a copy of this review and implements changes. read more

Einstein bros is usually pretty good. It's just the management that is lacking at this particular location. When I called in I had a large order for a company meeting we where having. I had tried to navigate their online ordering website and app and had no luck, so when I spoke with Shelly, an employee, she was very understanding and we attempted to work out my order together. About mid way through taking my order, there was some confusion and Shelly decided to dump the order and start over. As soon as she did I heard the manager, a very rude lady named Sammy, scream at Shelly, "what did you do that for!!!!" Shelly then explained that I, the customer, had had a hard time doing the order online and that we, Shelly and myself, where getting the order together. To which Sammy replied "that's stupid, this is ridiculous, It's easy online, they must be dumb!" A now very nervous Shelly is trying to take my order, after hearing her boss call her stupid and me dumb, And getting rushed and flustered she passed the phone. So the manager, Sammy, gets in the phone. And after telling me for a 4th time how easy it is online and that I need to do it there (it's not very easy BTW, or at least not for me), she then tried to deter me by saying she needed the payment up front, I said I would be glad to oblige. She finishes taking my order. Shelly having done 95% of the work. Then rudely hangs up on me WITHOUT taking payment. To top it off, when I showed up and was waiting in line for my order I overheard Sammy talking about how "they aren't going to show up! What an asshole." I'm not OK with how I was treated, But I'll get over it. What is absolutely horrific is how she treats her employees.. YOU DON'T TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT!!!! she needs to be fired..... I've been to this Einstein's several times, and have had a pretty good experience in comparison with other locations. Today I ordered an everything bagel with reduced fat garden veggie shmear, and I never feel like they put enough shmear on. There have been times when I've actually gone back and asked them to add more, but today was ok. The staff was friendly (although they wouldn't accept one of my coupons) and FAST- they had my bagel in my hands before I was finished checking out. They do not have a ton of seating area, and the space gets very loud when there are a lot of full tables. I really do not like the coffee at Einstein's, whenever I've gotten the cold brew it has turned out to be pretty terrible. But at least this location has a full coffee menu with lattes and other drinks, as opposed to other stores. read more

Nothing fancy or particularly spectacular. When I come to Einstein, it's for the ease and convenience of having this commercialized bagel eatery with ample options to satisfy everyone's preference in your dining party. Tons of bagel flavors and means of decking out your bagel to please anyone's cravings and particularities. If you're not into the traditional bagel route of a breakfast experience, then you can customize your meal into more lunch type fare sans eggs or cream cheese. You do you. Personally, I'm a huge fan of the nova lox. Not THE best I've ever tried, far from the more sophisticated appeal that generally accompanies the concept, but the familiar flavor profiles are there. It comes with cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, and rings of red onions. I fancy a spinach bagel with my lox rather than just the typical plain bagel that comes with. The bagels are huge, like the size of my face! But downsides are that they spread the cream cheese on top so lavishly that it's not proportional to how much smoked salmon they grant you (which could be more...). So if I were you, I'd order the cream cheese on the side so you can have the control. And around breakfast/brunch time... The place is packed ahhh! read more

Finly Kyle came up but it was unclear whether or not he was accepting customers, as while there was a line he did not call for anyone to come forward. A woman ended up marching right in and up to him completely skipping the line and ordering. I was shocked! Once she had ordered I asked, as I was next, " this is my first time here so is this protocol." He apologized and WHILE I WAS ORDERING the woman came back and wanted a dog treat - and kyle allowed her to skip the good people in line behind me again. My order came out promoptly and incorrectly. They were out of all the major bagel varieties when I went on Labor Day morning. They probably had half of the varieties not available. I get they were probably busy all morning but it was the attitude that was received that will make me never come back. It wasn't just me that got the attitude when asking for a bagel which, in turn, got a drill Sargent like response that they couldn't slice or toast them. No explanation or any suggestion of an alternative in any way that would be called polite. This one star review is for the lack of availability of product as well as a terrible customer experience. Okay, so today was just not very good service. When the manager is there everyone is efficient and getting orders out in record time. Sometimes I will walk over to the wait spot and they are already bringing out my food. Today she was not there and there was no urgency, nonchalance about timing and I waited over 15 minutes to get my bagel sandwich. There were tons of online orders and multiple item orders, but I still felt it could have been done with more urgency as I observed the staff. Also cut the bagel, when one of the gentleman is there he is up beat and always cuts the sandwich. Now there is another young gentleman that works the assembly line that is not in a positive mood most of the time and doesn't ever cut the sandwich. Small caveat I had to add. Don't work hard and give good service just because your manager is working. read more

Used to have an issue with stock of green chile bagels for the green chile club. They fixed that issue and always had them available at lunch time. Then they decides it'd be a great idea to ditch the green chile club completely, thus eliminating all reasons for me to go there. The good is they had a few more selection of bagels at 3 0'clock vs the Einstein 93rd and Sheridan. Second, I was acknowledged at this location vs the 93rd location (you're just be stared at there). Lastly, she offered to cut my bagels! This is where a good thing turn bad. Three of six bagels were slice in half. The other three were really off center. I become increasingly disappointed with Einsteins with each visit and I've been a regular here since I was like five. It's always something sometimes its rude staff. But my biggest issue with Einsteins lately, is the bagels. If I ask for it toasted, it barely is. If I ask for it double toasted it's burnt. No middle ground I guess. Another problem, is they aren't great with keeping the coffee pots full or fresh. I'm a dark roast person, I get it from my mom. But every time I come the dark roast is either empty, or old, cold, and gross. read more

Used the cupons we got in the mail and have never been so we tried it out. Good selection and lots to choose from almost overwhelming if you have never been. The place was packed at 8am on a Sunday when we went. They had new cashiers that couldn't tell us what exactly came on a particular sandwich which is OK everyone has to learn but he didn't have much suport from his team when he tried to get the answers for us. Since the answers couldn't be provided we went with a different sandwich. Take away would be if someone is new have a trainer with them so the customer can be helped and the poor kid isn't left stressed that he can't even get his questions answered. read more

CONSISTENTLY THE WORST EINSTEIN'S BAGELS FRANCHISE I'VE BEEN TO 8 YEARS RUNNING... Unfortunately this is the location is the closest store to my home. We have lived in the area for 8 years... and this store has never lived up to the standards of any neighboring Einstein's stores I've been to in the metro area. Periodically I assume that something has had to have changed since the last time I was there (due to complaints). When I randomly give in and come back ready to give my business; I am reminded of exactly why I don't go there... ALMOST EVERY SINGLE TIME... WITHOUT FAIL! What's SO bad you ask? For starters.... NO BAGELS!!! Ever!!!! If thats not enough, the typically rude staff usually is. On most of my visits (after the early rush), I am hard-pressed to acquire the small variety of bagels in order to fulfill the flexible requests of my whopping family of 3. By the way, I avoid the early rush because in 8 years time, Einstein's (as a company) hasn't come up with a way to handle heavy business. It's always a nightmare, and wait times are ridiculous. With regard to the absence of bagels, there's always an excuse that is almost never conveyed politely by employees. I'm sure there's a nice employee at this Einstein's, I probably just haven't met that one yet. The excuses for the bagel store NOT having bagels to sell: "the morning rush just wiped us out". Sometimes it's "sorry, everything bagels are one of our most popular". Today, no bagels... just empty baskets. Dare I ask why? "sir, we stop making our bagels 3 hours before close". 3 hours! This was said to me... Can I, an adult with a brain believe this? This means: If they are completely out of bagels 3 HOURS before they close their doors, they stay open and just turn customers away? 3 hours is practically half of their workday! Someone clearly missed math class. How do they make money? How? ...Is it profitable to pay several employees to stand INSIDE merely to inform you that you can't buy the one thing that's proudly displayed on the sign OUTSIDE?!?! That's ridiculous... I'd think the loss of a few wasted bagels would pale in comparison to the paychecks of 5 stagnant employees behind the counter. Maybe they could donate the leftovers to the multitudes of homeless people in the same/neighboring parking lots? Close the doors at that point if you don't feel like making money Einstein's?!?! Others are doing it way... way better! It prompts you to ask questions, like "don't you make more bagels throughout the day", "have you ever thought about just making more of the popular bagels". In 8 years, none of these questions or suggestions have ever been explained with any answers that make sense, or considered as helpful criticism. Instead, I'm usually met with some rude response as if the person I'm speaking with is irritated. I get talked to like I'm an idiot from a person in their early 20's (at their first job) because no one can answer the simple question: "why are there NO bagels at THE BAGEL STORE?" Yeah, I'm the idiot just for asking... I don't argue with these people, I've never made an issue... I'm not that type of customer. ...but the irritation in their voices suggests that I am not even close to the only person asking these questions, and they're tired of being asked. I promise I have truly put this to the test in my time living nearby. I've showed up at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, Noon.... afternoon; It doesn't matter! I've showed up, every month of the year, all types of weather and almost all of my visits end the same way. This is regardless of all factors like: the amount of business at the time, YEARS gone by, or even the change in staff over time. I love Einstein's, but this store SUCKS!!! Do franchises have regional managers?... If so, this one is terrible. Certainly the owners have to be aware of this and change nothing, which shows a lack of caring. There is something monumentally wrong with a business if a person like me is just begging to spend money despite the terrible staff, and they still can't make that happen. Other Einstein's stores in the area do not have these problems (to this degree). I can't tell you how ridiculous it is to live practically next-door to an Einstein's location, only to drive right by it on your way to a different store to get kind service.... and bagels. .... because IT'S A BAGEL STORE!!!!. Sidenote: This review has nothing to do with the COVID pandemic. Again, this has been the same for several years running... for that reason it boggles me that good kind small businesses are being wiped out due to COVID-19, and terribly run corporate controlled businesses like this are still standing.
