From a very early age I've been blessed with these cookies at school celebrations, and now into my work life, I savor the days these get brought into the office. the taste is usually there and the effort. the last couple times I have had a giant cookie decorated once at this location and the time before at a different location I explained what I was looking for and said colors I said do you understand or do I need to explain more or specifi certain colors. the color schemes were not as I expected and we're off. 2 main colors were all that was needed for the whole thing and instead blue, red, and white were the main colors used. and those have barley anything to do with it. I was told we got you we will handle it. as the people I knew picked it up I can say I was siletly disappointed advice I would recommend. them to say what colors get are going to use and I would ok them or say no way in both cases the would say they rushed through it in my opinion. I started volunteering to be the mom who brought cookies to the classroom parties, just so I could stop in Eileen's and have an excuse to buy myself a cookie. I love that you can buy premade cookies here, but also cookie dough, frosting and sprinkles. They make it so easy for the mom who waits until the last minute to get party supplies. I work at a school, and a student brought a box of these pretty little cookies in for us today. I was really excited because I've seen great reviews on yelp for Eileen's cookies. First of all, they were ADORABLE! Santa clause, snow men, wreaths, etc. They were done very well, they really looked great. The only flavor was sugar cookie. It was so moist and crumbly. The icing was silky smooth and just sweet enough. It had a flavor I couldn't quite figure out, not a bad flavor though. And I'm not sure if it was the cookie or the icing. I tasted a hint of lemon maybe? I don't think that was it, I dunno. It was good though! I would for sure go and grab some unique flavors to try, or even a chocolate chip cookie. Typically I am a huge fan of Eileen's cookies, however, today I left unimpressed. I had ordered cookies for my sister's birthday with "among us" characters on them. Before leaving to pick up the order I realized I had forgotten to also order a separate cookie with another "among us" character on it, wearing a physician's costume. This was important to me since my sister is currently in college going Pre-Med. When I realized this mistake I called Eileen's to add an additional cookie to my order. I was immediately met with a grumpy, unwelcoming voice. When I went to ask for the additional cookie, she left me with silence on the other end of the phone, wondering whether or not she heard me or was even listening. I repeated my order multiple times and finally, when she finally responded, she told me she, "didn't know what these characters are," as she looked at the finished product of the original order I had asked for. I asked her to just copy those cookies and add a physician's outfit to the cookie. She repeated to me that she didn't know what the character's were. Eventually she said she'd do it and we hung up. I went to Eileen's to pick up my order later on, and when I received the cookies the original batch I had ordered looked spectacular. However, the additional cookie I had ordered, with the character in the costume, I could tell was carelessly thrown in the bag it was in. Just from looking at the outside of the bag, there was frosting smeared against the inside of the bag. I pulled the cookie out gently and found a smooshed "among us" character that was poorly done. The character did not have anything other than a stethoscope on. The woman on the phone clearly didn't even make the effort to google the character I was asking for. We always pop into Eileen's cookies when shopping in that plaza. I absolutely love the Lemon frosted cookie and my husband loves the white chocolate macadamia nut. He thought the chocolate walnut and the chocolate chip were just ok. The service was great today. The girl was quick to help us, very attentive and personable. I grew up in Grand Island and the Eileens that opened there in 1987 was much loved by me. I loved their cookies especially the oatmeal chocolate chip. when I was looking for dessert ideas on Yelp Eileens popped up. YUM. two dozen mixed for $10 total? yes thank you. so far I've had the chocolate chip but truly a delicious cookie still. the people manning the counter were so nice and helpful, the store is adorable and I cant wait to come back and try the other cookie kinds. they even have the larger celebration cookies I remember well from my teen/still in GI years and see often on my friends FB feeds. stop by an Eileens.. you wont be sorry. You will never find a better cookie. Me and my friend were riding around town one day, and decided to stop in for Eileen's. We first grabbed a 3 inch decorated cookie. Friend went for the Elmo, I went for the baseball. Me: "Oh my gosh." Friend: "This is amazing." Me: "Agreed" Friend (smacking lips): "I want another one." Me: "Me too." After getting two more double lemon cookies (people who get the regular lemon cookies without the frosting have no soul): Friend: "This is quite amazing." Me: "Indeed."
