We picked up a few pre-made boxes and some single assorted flavors. The pre-made boxes were for the nurses at the hospital down the street for nurses week. This was easy and convenient because we want to show appreciation to the nurses taking care of a family member at the hospital. Inside was nice and clean and lots of variety of flavors. There were a lot of people picking up cookies and putting in orders. I personally had a oatmeal scotchie and it was good with some 7 brew cookie, but I bet it would be better with milk. I've never been to this location of Eileen's cookies, but I have the same great experience that I come to expect at Eileen's. I was visiting a business nearby and figured I would stop in and grab some cookies for the fam. I love that you can buy individual cookies as well as larger quantities. And the prices are still very reasonable. For an enormous frosted sugar cookie it's only $2 dollars. I feel like they haven't raised their price as much at all over the last decade, which is really nice for me as a customer. And of course, the flavor is unlike any other cookie out there. It must be a combination of a special recipe and high quality of ingredients. A certain other cookie company came to town within the last few years and honestly, I would prefer Eileen's every time. And I still have never gotten sick of these little delightful treats! The interior of the bakery is so bright and adorable, and the staff is always happy to help you with an order or just a quick stop in for a pre-made pack of goodies. The iced cookies are consistently soft and hearty (not like the airy/floury cookies you get at the grocery store). And the icing they use is so tasty, thick, and smooth. My company even used Eileens for our brand launch and they were able to decorate cookies in our logo branding. Very impressive! If I'm getting them for my own purposes, I ask to order just a batch of plain white frosting cookies. The colorful icings can sometimes stain your mouth/teeth, so that's the only reason why. I definitely like the look of the colorful ones, don't get me wrong. And they don't only have the fancy iced cookies (in every color and combo imaginable), they also have delicious other flavors, like chocolate chip, sugar cookie, snickerdoodle, and lemon. Now, as an adult Eileens are a go-to pick up item if I need to bring a treat to a party myself. As an event planner I typically have everything squared away before an event, but a last minute order fell through, and I needed cookies in a pinch. Their facebook says "we welcome short notice orders" so I immediately flew to Eileens to pick up what was available, and I was able to secure 2 (3) dozen trays. 72 cookies, 24 frosted, for only $52, that is quite the steal these days. Since Eileens is an Omaha ataple for cookies, all the guests at my event were happy to indulge. Service wise, I had a very patient cookie connoisseur helping get my order. A visit to see my brother's family in Omaha is never complete without a stop at Eileen's. The store features lots of different colorful creations, frosted sugar cookies, and a whole made the order menu if you call ahead I assume. We've actually never done that, instead of relying on dropping in to see what surprises are available. The kids always seem to find something they like, and it's fun to walk in sight unseen and grab whatever is available. They're always tasty and fresh, and what's not to like about freshly baked cookies decorated with copious amounts of frosting? Come on man, it's a fairy tale. Rumor has it that they have seasonal things that follow the calendar... We always seem to breeze through here sometime after Independence Day, and well before Halloween, so I guess we just see the late summer collection? Regardless, as we've gotten to know Omaha better during our last few visits since my brother moved there, this is one of the spots that we look forward to visiting. Eileen's Cookies are AMAZING! I generally don't like frosting, but man, there's just something so incredibly yummy about their frosting. I CRAVE it! Their frosted sugar cookies are my absolute favorite! The other day was my husband's birthday and I decided last minute to get him a colossal cookie as a surprise. I called them up at about 10 in the morning and just two short hours later his beautiful cookie cake was ready for pickup over my lunch break. Easy ordering, fast, friendly service and great prices - what's not to love? Not only is his cookie cake delish, it's HUGE. And the PRICE! I love how affordable these cookies are - you can walk away with a ton of cookie loot for just a dollar or two per cookie. I also am a big fan of their ready-made seasonal holiday cookie cakes. They're fun and also super affordable. The only reason this isn't a five star review is that - unpopular opinion! - I am actually not a huge fan of their sugar cookies with the gobs of sugary icing. While I have quite a sweet tooth, it's a little much for me. They're always beautiful to look at and the price is right, but taste is king for me. Their non-sugar cookies are literally perfect - the M&Ms, chocolate chip, peanut butter ones..and my personal favorite, the soft, decadent Snickerdoodle. I had been using the Papillion location for years but put in a cookie order for a bachelorette party at the location on Pacific because it is closer to my new place. The order was for monogrammed "C" cookies with a decorative border. When I picked it up, I felt the decoration was done poorly so I asked to exchange them for solid cookies. To their credit, they were very nice about the situation and offered to comp my entire order. Their cookies are delicious and are reasonably priced. Eileen's in Papillion did a birthday cookie cake for us this weekend. We chose a chocolate chip cookie base and a decoration they offer, they personalize the wording. Which is all pretty standard. However, we called late on Saturday and they were closing in a couple hours. They assured us it was alright and they had chocolate chip cookies in the freezer, and they decorated it within those couple of hours. For only about $18, we fed 20 people cookie cake with generous slices. The fast turnaround was excellent. Would highly recommend them. read more
