Arriving to Insomnia cookies four minutes before they closed, we were greeted with no urgency or irritation in the staff, they answered questions and show d us the options as well. The options were not unique, so we went for the deluxe menu. Deluxe Chocolate Chip: great. Jam packed with chocolate and with a nice crisp to the outside while maintaining a soft cookie. Walnut Oatmeal: not an over abundance of oatmeal texture, but the warmth and thickness of the cookie made it a good cookie. Carmel: delicious when warmed up, and when cooled. Making the deluxe upgrade was worth it for the amount of chunks! Brookie: very dense, very rich. As a chocolate lover, I think this is a great choice. Overall, I would return. It's a bit steep for cookies, but I believe you pay a premium to get a variety of cookies outside of regular bakery hours. read more

Yummy! So excited we finally have Insomnia cookies in Omaha, and it's right next to my job! The cookies are known for being a bit under cooked and very soft! Their hours range from about 11am-2am for after the bars! It is located in The Capitol District in between Annie's and Epoca on the north side of the square. You can only enter from inside the district, not on the outside as a heads up. Everyone was SUPER friendly behind the counter and also excited to be open! I brought my children and I because we heard so much rave about this place and how they are the best cookies in the city lol so I came to give them a try and I definitely was not disappointed. I wouldn't say the best but I would definitely say top two my son got the chocolate chip brownie. I got the triple chocolate chip my youngest son got the, peanut butter cookie, and my daughter got the salted caramel and all of them were so so so so good. Customer service was great. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendliest staff member. We placed a pick-up order and one of our cookies took a little longer than usual, but the staff was amazing about keeping us informed and was so kind throughout. Even though it was late, we still received top-notch customer service. The cookies were warm and delicious. We went with the regular 6-pack (not the deluxe) and it was perfect for us. They were sweet, but not overwhelming. As someone who orders their cookies via delivery, their turnaround times for delivery are never too long, especially as someone who lives quite a distance from this insomnia. Regardless, their cookies are always fresh and tasty when they arrive. They are also a very good vegan and dairy-free alternative to many other cookie places around Omaha! Their vegan cookies, especially birthday cake, are always amazing. The workers take the time to handle the vegan cookies with care while also separating them from the regular cookies.
