We were impressed at this first meeting with his knowledge and plan of action. Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there. We went in for the stress test and then waited for Dr. Sidhu to call us with the results. Three weeks later and numerous calls to the office, we're still waiting for a follow up and plan to go forward. Each of these calls included a long wait on hold, numerous apologies, assurances from Jennifer that Dr. Sidhu would get right back to us and then.....nothing. This whole experience has been frustrating and time consuming.

That pure joy of happy five star doctor reviews is because five stars means my family or I have been treated with dignity, respect and with competence! All patients deserve to be treated as such. Our dear, sweet daughter was having some minor chest pains. It was important to have her checked out. Our cool and new family doctor referred her to the office of Dr. Saw and Dr. Lin. We were told both doctors were top-notch. Dr. Saw saw ('lil pun!) our daughter. Top-notch indeed! Wow- the employees; every single one of them were gems! All our our questions were respectfully answered without a hint of arrogance by any medical employee...refreshing! Dr. Saw was very thorough regarding heart tests; two total. Tests were done at his Pleasanton and Livermore offices. Our family was thrilled that the testing is done right there in his offices vs that nearby hospital...phewww! As Dr. Saw stated, by doing the tests in his offices, the hospital bureaucracy issues could be avoided. We agreed 100%! Happy to report that our daughter is fine and has a healthy heart... and a heart of gold. One issue of concern was in regards to the test results. We were told to make an appointment to discuss the second test results with Dr. Saw. That would have meant three office visits in three days; a lot of time out of our busy schedules. I called the office explaining this and requested that if the test results were fine, that we be notified. And, if the results were not fine, requested we be called and we would then schedule another appointment to discuss the test results. I was happy they agreed to my request. The technician did tell my daughter on the spot that everything was A-OK. I truly recommend Dr. Saw and his staff. Also recommend you request a follow-up appointment to discuss test results only if the tests show there is an issue that needs addressing. The entire staff is very friendly, informative and actually fun to talk to.

I share my experience more from the point of a patient with a rare and notorious to diagnose heart…read morecondition. The rarity of my illness must have contributed to my interaction with Dr. Dao. So if your illness is more of the regular type, your experience could be different. I would prefer it to be 2.5 star, but there is no such thing, thus. On initial impression, Dr. Dao asked the most complete set of questions on my first visit. I came to Dr. Dao after visiting many Cardiologists, not being to get a diagnose. I had high hope at the time. From those questions, I think Dr. has a good grasp of medical knowledge a general cardiologist should. Unfortunately mine is on the special and rare type. At that time I got a not yet confirmed self-diagnose with the help of AI. (Yes, AI.) And interestingly, the diagnose was later confirmed via surgery with a prominent specialist cardiologist majoring in that field, after my visit with Dr. Dao. Dr. Dao claimed she had treated patients with my rare medical condition before, though she didn't fully agree with the diagnose before the confirmation surgery. And in later interactions with her, I often found her knowledge more from a general cardiologist point's of view, not covering the full spectrum of my illness's speciality. Quite a few times her understanding is contrary to what I experienced, and some suggestion could be even harmful to my situation. I think she covers the general side well, and she meant well. But unfortunately being a very confident cardiologist, she has an intention to center the interaction more around her opinion, it could feel like lecturing, rather than helping or listening. And the shown knowledge gap in that specific field often distracts me in our communication, aiding my dropping of confidence in her. I believe mostly because of the rarity of my medical condition, further visit with Dr. Dao on this topic may not help much. Again, your mileage may vary.

Dr. Dao And her office staff are truly wonderful people…read more Within 6 hours of my referral being sent, I had an appointment for the next business day. Not only were they incredibly accommodating, they were real human beings that spoke to me with respect and compassion despite my bitchiness. I'm not sure if it's because I'm getting "old" (30), or of my brain is degenerating but I seriously sometimes don't know what is coming out of my mouth. I have absolutely no filter and can be incredibly demeaning. ‍ I hate this about myself and after I realize what I've done I usually apologize profusely, but still--its a thing ‍ Anyways, Dr. Dao listened to me through my tangents and side stories and and spontaneous sons and she was professional and kind-hearted (pun intended) but not overly so, maintaining her acedemic and intellectual posture... Despite my totally rude behavior. I trust her professional judgement and will recommend her to those looking for an exquisite physician ‍ Side note, she looks like she's 22 which might take you off guard and the waits can be long. But like wait times can't even be considered because it means she is taking the time necessary with each patient--I've also vowed to never complain about doctor's office wait times ‍

A team of doctors was assigned to his care and leading the treatment was Dr. Joseph Walsh, the cardiologist. Once my dad was stabilized, he was moved to ICU. For the next four days, I saw Dr. Walsh visit my dad frequently. He took the time to sit with my dad and evaluate him thoroughly and monitored his progress with keen interest. He made sure my dad got the prescribed medications, diet, exercise and directed the attending nurse meticulously. All along, he discussed the diagnosis and plan with me with great patience. I truly feel that the Dr. Walsh saved my dad that day. Once my dad was discharged, Dr. Walsh proactively followed up with us and offered a comprehensive plan of action, which included placing a high-tech heart monitor, several relevant and revealing tests, and coordinated with other specialists, including GI specialist. It can be overwhelming for the patient/family to tackle so many specialists, but Dr. Walsh personally spoke with other doctors on the team and became our single point of contact. Dr. Walsh not only demonstrated his expertise in cardiology, but he did it with the warmest, most caring attitude. It felt like he was treating his own dad. My dad was comforted by his mere presence. This is profound and rare in today's medical experience. My family and I are eternally grateful to Dr. Walsh - thank you!
