He…read morewas struggling with two painful plantar warts from many months that were seriously affecting his ability to run -- especially difficult since he competes in track. Thanks to this doctor expertise, kindness, and a very effective treatment, the plantar warts were completely removed, and our son is now back on the track stronger than ever. It truly saved his season -- and his spirit! He's running pain-free again and couldn't be happier. She is just an amazing person and made all the difference for our family. Off note: we tried multiple over the counter medications and freezing therapy and both were ineffective. It was the best decision we ever made for our son's health to pay this out of our pocket since it was not covered by our insurance. Thank you Dr. M and the staff!

By the time I saw Dr. Mostaghimi, my pain had worsened. She quickly identified a bunion and limited range of motion in my big toe that were contributing to my capsulitis. She provided an offloading pad and specific stretches to work on. Within just a few weeks, my big toe mobility improved, and my capsulitis pain decreased. She also gave me advice on how to correctly tape my toes for capsulitis. She advised me to order a soft silicone liner for offloading the fibromas in my heel. I am truly happy to have found Dr Mostaghimi after struggling with worsening foot pain for years. She is very kind and attentive. Thanks to her expertise, I can plan a small vacation and not dread walking.

I've been suffering from PTSD over my husbands death so it's taken me years to write this. On the…read moresixth year anniversary of his death I just wanted to warn others that after a year or two of caring for him at the UCSF Limb Preservation Clinic, this doctor directed him to go to Eden hospital for wound treatment on a Friday. He was supposed to attend to him but never showed up. He got a sepsis infection and two days passed away. The office didn't even know when I requested his records. Looking back, I realized how blatantly obvious substandard his quality of care was but once an infection becomes septic it is very hard to prove. This doctor is not the "holy god" that some make him out to be.

Dr. Alexander Reyzelman saved my feet from unnecessary surgery…read more Over 10 years ago, I had severe pain in both feet. I went to 2-3 podiatrists and they all recommended surgery and did not offer any other option. Something didn't feel right. Years before this, I had been warned by a close relative that is a highly respected doctor to always be wary of any doctor that pushes you into surgery without also offering other options. He said the financial incentive to encourage surgery is too great of a temptation for some doctors. He also recommended that I find a doctor that is very active in his field, is a prolific writer for medical publications, and is often a guest speaker for medical events focused on new developments in the field. I could not move forward on the surgeries without doing my due diligence and find one more doctor that came as close to meeting the above mentioned recommended requirements. I did some digging and Dr. Reyzelman was the best match I could find in the area. If he also suggested surgery with his wealth of experience of new advancement in podiatry, I would give in and book the surgeries. His office staff were very nice and he has a very pleasant demeanor. He looked over my feet, he looked at the scans, and put some equipment on my legs and had me walk so the equipment would record what the issue might be. After reviewing the recording of my walking, he said the issues were due to a structural problem. Getting custom made inserts that would correct the issues was an option that would provide me relief. I decided to give the custom made insert a try and boy was he was right. After using them, my feet felt terrific. I did tell end up telling Dr Reyzelman of my experience and he seemed surprised that surgery had been pushed on me so hard without remarking on other options. Although, I was relieved to find Dr Reyzelman, I was extremely disappointed that the other podiatrists I went to did not go over the issue with the way I walked! Even if I had gone through the surgeries with any of the prior doctors, without question the same issues would come back! To potentially put a patient through this, in unconscionable. Over 10 years later, my feet our doing great. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Reyzelman for being honest and forthright about my options. The field needs more doctors like him. He gets my highest, highest recommendation.
